• The tour duration is 5 nights and includes the day of departure and return.
• Our tour includes guidance, transportation, accommodation, and local excursions as a package and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guidance, local excursions, etc. cannot be refunded.
• Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child accompanying two adults. Children aged 0-6 may not be provided a separate bed during hotel accommodation.
• In hotel accommodations, the 3rd guest in triple rooms usually stays on an extra bed.
• The hotels listed in the itinerary are preferred accommodation establishments of Dgn Travel. The region and hotels may change based on availability, provided that the hotel standards remain the same. Hotel names will be provided upon request 48 hours before the tour departure, subject to availability.
• The rooms at the hotels are determined by the hotel. There is no option to choose between rooms.
• Our rest stops may change in location and service standards due to reasons beyond our control such as crowding, renovations, etc., as long as they remain the same in terms of service standards.
• The tour schedule may be changed by the guide if deemed necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, or crowding at visited sites.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for places not visited during the tour due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, road conditions, crowding at visited places, etc.) or if guests do not comply with the timings given by our guide during the tour. In such cases, guests do not have the right to claim.
• In our air tours, changes can be made to the region airports as long as they do not affect the visiting points in the tour program. In such cases, Dgn Travel will provide information to the guest regarding the flight tickets. If there is no deficiency in the program due to airport changes, the guest does not have the right to claim.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays in the program due to adverse weather conditions or delays caused by the airline in our air tours. In such cases, the guest does not have the right to claim.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for changes in flight times made by the airline during our air tours. Any changes in flight times will be communicated to the guest by Dgn Travel.
• In our air tours, our guide may meet guests at the regional airport. You need to carry out your boarding procedures individually at the boarding airport. In such cases, Dgn Travel will inform guests one day in advance.
• In our air and bus tours, guests participating from other cities can join the tour from the regional meeting point at the airport. In such cases, there may be waiting times at the airport due to flight times.
• All our tours apply a progressive pricing system. Tour prices may increase progressively as the number of reservations in the package increases and the date draws near. Dgn Travel reserves the right to increase prices. Therefore, price fixing cannot be done without an advance payment.
• Seat numbers cannot be guaranteed or promised during reservation. There is no guarantee for notes entered during reservation. Special seat selections such as front or back are not made.
• The seating arrangement inside the vehicle is arranged by Dgn Travel Operations based on the order of reservations. In case of objections regarding seating arrangement, refunds are not possible. All seats in our vehicles are of the same standard.
• Extra tours such as night tours included in the tour program will take place depending on the number of participants and the available staff. Extra tours to be performed along the way will still be conducted even without the participation of all guests. Guests not participating in extra tours will be directed by our guide to rest areas or city centers. Guests who do not participate in extra tours have joined the tour by accepting to wait at the rest stop.
• If any extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest does not have the right to claim. Dgn Travel has no responsibility in this case.
• Extra tour prices may vary depending on the period. In such cases, the date when the guest purchased the tour is not considered; the date when the tour takes place is taken into account. The extra tour price applicable during the period of the tour will be valid. The guest has accepted this upon purchasing the tour.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any material damages that may be caused by guests in the services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, dining areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to demand reimbursement of material damages incurred by guests.
• In the case of minors under 18 who are not considered adults, it is mandatory to carry a consent form from one or both parents if they are not accompanying them on the tour.
• Guests participating in the tour must carry reports related to health issues, pregnancy, or medications they regularly use.
• Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc., at the designated departure times.
• Information regarding arrival times at the end of the tour is estimated, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays that may occur due to unavoidable circumstances.
• Guests will be dropped off at the opposite side of the stops from which they are picked up at the end of the tour. Please do not insist on being dropped off at a different location.
• According to traffic laws, all guests in the vehicle are required to wear seat belts during the journey, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for any incidents otherwise.
• All personal belongings in the vehicle are the responsibility of the guest, especially at rest stops.
• Since the first day of the tour will start before checking into the hotel, please prepare the items you need to carry with you separately.
• It is advisable to be prepared as it may not always be possible to find ATMs, currency exchange desks, etc. due to the program's density during the tour.
• Long distances may be covered during the executed programs. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide during the transportation.
• Lunches have been prepared with local economical menus. For lunch and dinner, tables will be used that are divided into groups based on the regional density.
• The starting and ending routes of our tours are determined based on regional density. Guests can learn about the definite starting and ending routes two days before the tour begins if they wish.
• If the tour does not reach sufficient numbers, the agency is obliged to inform the guest and the tour can be postponed to the next date or canceled according to the guest's wish. Alternatively, ticketing may be done to the nearest departure point to enable the guest's participation in the tour. In such cases, the agency is obliged to inform the guest three (3) days in advance via call, SMS, or email. In such situations, the guest does not have the right to claim.
• Guests can obtain a refund for the fee paid for cancellations and changes made without providing a reason up to 30 days before the start date of the service. For cancellations and changes made between 29 to 15 days before the tour date, 30% of the reservation fee will be deducted; for cancellations and changes made between 15 to 7 days, 50% of the reservation fee will be deducted; for cancellations and changes made 7 days or less before the tour date, 100% of the reservation fee will be deducted.
• Guests who purchase the Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package can cancel the package tour they purchased without providing a reason until 72 hours before the tour start date. The total package tour fee paid will be refunded without any deduction based on the payment method. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package do not cover flight tickets.
• Museum Cards and entry fees for museums are not included in the tour price. All museum entrances are to be paid by the guests.
CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND ASSURANCE PACKAGE
The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package allows the guest to cancel and make changes to the purchased package tour without specifying any reason until 72 hours before the tour start date. After cancellation, the total amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions, according to the method of payment. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover air travel.
MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NO. 1618
The scope of Mandatory Travel Insurance No. 1618 covers the agency's bankruptcy or the inability to provide package tour service for any reason. It is included in the tour price. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment expenses. Private health insurance is at the expense of the guest.

Day 1

- We meet at Çukurova Airport after our morning flight for our Flight GAP Tour. We then head to our bus and start the day with a breakfast break. After that, we visit the Eshab-ı Kehf Cave, where a significant miracle took place for both Christianity and Islam, believed to be the place where seven young men and their dog took refuge from the cruel king of the time, as narrated in the Quran's Surah Al-Kahf, and where they allegedly slept for three centuries. After our guided tour, we visit the Nusrat Mine Ship. During our panoramic city tour, we see Cleopatra's Gate and gather information. We then explore the historic Tarsus Houses and streets, learning about the city before visiting the Tomb of Prophet Daniel located at the Danyal Mosque, a site respected by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. We then visit the Grand Mosque and Kırkkaşık Bedesten and have some free time for shopping. After bidding farewell to this history-laden city, we embark on our journey to Gaziantep.
- In Gaziantep, we start with lunch. Afterward, we visit Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Established by the Seleucids and later named Zeugma, meaning “to bring two banks together” in Roman terms, this city is now submerged under the waters of the Birecik Dam. We will visit the museum that showcases the floor mosaics from Roman generals' villas, removed and exhibited since the city’s flooding. Opened on September 9, 2011, the museum, with its 1700 square meters of mosaics, is the third largest mosaic museum in the world, featuring the world-famous "Gypsy Girl" mosaic and mosaics themed on Greek mythology, narrated by our guide. After our visit to Zeugma Mosaic Museum, we will have a panoramic view of Gaziantep Castle, whose construction date is unknown, though it is known to have been used for observation during the Roman period. The castle has been restored many times throughout history and received its current form after renovations in the early 2000s. After a brief photo break, we will see the Sedefçiler, Spice Merchants, Vegetable Market, Historical Pasha Inn, Tahtani Mosque, Uzun Bazaar, Historical Customs Inn, Zincirli Bedesten, and Shoe Makers Bazaar before reaching the Copper Bazaar. We visit the tombs of Pirsefa Hazretleri and Hz. Yuşa Prophet at the entrance of the bazaar. Next, we explore Almacı Bazaar, recognized as Gaziantep’s oldest bazaar, which is 250 years old. We then reach Tahmis Café, established between 1635-1638 by the Turkmen Agha and District Commander Mustafa Agha Bin Yusuf, designed to generate income for the Mevlevi Lodge. We will have some free time to enjoy Menengiç Coffee and shop in the bazaars. After our free time, we take a short break to shop for Gaziantep's famous baklava and pistachios before visiting the Şahinbey National Struggle Museum. Here, we will explore the contemporary museum located underground that narrates the resistance of the people of Antep against enemy occupation, which earned them the title of “Gazi.” Afterward, we head to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2

- On the second day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Adıyaman's Kahta district. In Kahta, we board the minibuses waiting for us to reach the Karakuş Tumulus, housing the tombs of King Mithridates of Commagene and his family. After the guide's explanations amidst the stunning scenery, we board the minibuses again to visit the 18th-century Cendere Bridge, one of the most magnificent bridges of the Roman period, built over the Cendere Stream. After a photo break, we proceed to climb Mount Nemrut at an elevation of 2150 meters in the Eastern Taurus Mountain range. At the summit lies the Tumulus of King I. Antiochus. The colossal sculptures of Zeus (Oromasdes), Apollo, Mithras, Helios, Hermes, Heracles, Artagnes, Ares, Kommagene, Tiche, and himself, made by King I. Antiochus, can still be seen in the Eastern and Western terraces. Our guide provides us with the necessary information, and we take in the unparalleled scenery while recalling Antiochus's last will: “Let my birthday be celebrated every month and year, and be a feast day. On such days, the chief priest will wear Persian attire, generously placed by me and the laws upon all of us gold wreaths."
- After our tour on Mount Nemrut, we traverse the Nissibi Bridge, known as the Bridge of the East connecting Kahta and Siverek, and proceed to Diyarbakır, one of the oldest and most rooted cities of the southeast. We take a look at Hevsel Gardens, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2015, located by the Tigris River, cherished not only for its agricultural value but also for its cultural and historical significance. Next, we reach On Gözlü Bridge, famously known where the local people cast their wishes inscribed on a cloth during the Hıdırellez time by tossing it into the Tigris River. After a photo break here, we have a panoramic view of the ancient city walls of Diyarbakır, including Goat Bastion, Urfa Gate, and Mardin Gate, then reach the center of Diyarbakır. We will see the Four-Legged Minaret (Şeyh Mutahhar Mosque) built in 1500 by the Akkoyunlu ruler Kasım Bey and visit the Grand Mosque, regarded as the first in Anatolia and the 5th Harem-i Sharif in the Islamic World. Next, we visit Hasan Pasha Inn, the largest inn in the region. Afterward, we will visit the Museum House of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, the famous poet known for his poem “Yaş otuz beş, yolun yarısı eder” ("At thirty-five, half of the road is done"). (If it is not open due to renovations, this visit will not occur.) After our brief break here, we head to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 3
- Malabadi Bridge - Batman - Hasankeyf - Mağaraköy - Haberli Village - Mor Gabriel Monastery - Midyat
- On the third day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we will have breakfast at the hotel before departing to visit Malabadi Bridge, located within Silvan's borders. Built during the Artuqid period, the Malabadi Bridge is the largest arch stone bridge in the world that has survived to the present day, and we will take a photo break here. We then say goodbye to Diyarbakır and head to Batman’s Hasankeyf.
- Through Batman, home to Turkey’s first oil wells, we will see panoramic views of oil pumps and reach Hasankeyf. With a history dating back 12,000 years, Hasankeyf's fate changed with the impending construction of the Ilısu Dam, forming a new settlement 3 km away. In February 2020, Hasankeyf was submerged; we will share the sadness of this visit while witnessing the still-imposing Hasankeyf Castle, the Minaret of El Rızık Mosque, and the caves before taking some free time. During our free time, guests can optionally join a boat tour on the Ilısu Dam to see the old Hasankeyf up close. (Extra) After free time, we travel to Mağaraköy (Kiwex), currently within the borders of Şırnak through Midyat.
- Mağaraköy, where the Yazidis lived for centuries according to their beliefs and lifestyles, is now completely abandoned. It takes its name from the caves carved and used below the houses. After receiving information about Yazidi culture from our guide, you will find yourself in a moment where time has stood still by the village's structure, scent, burial area, and architecture. Following free time, we will move to the village of Haberli (Basibirin), a Syrian village. We will explore the Mor Eşayho Church among the 23 churches in this village that once thrived, providing insight into the village's past liveliness. In this entirely Syriac-populated village, we will visit an open church with our guide. After insights into the structure and this revived Syriac village, we will have tea at the village café and chat with the locals before bidding farewell. Next, we board our bus and head to Mor Gabriel Monastery, located within the borders of Midyat (if it is overcrowded, we will visit Deyrulzafaran Monastery). The famous and large structure of the Syriac Ancient Community was established in 397 by Mor Şmuel and Mor Şemun and will be guided through its history and significance. After this visit to the monastery, we head to our hotel situated in Midyat, known as the meeting point of faiths and languages, for dinner and accommodation.

Day 4

- On the fourth day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, after our breakfast at the hotel, we leave for a visit to Midyat Guesthouse, the filming location for TV series like "Sıla," "Hercai," and "Ah Bir Bulut Olsam." After taking wonderful photos, we visit a Telkari workshop where this art has been developed by Syriac masters for generations and where we can purchase some pieces. After our shopping for Telkari, we will have some free time to wander through the historic Midyat Houses.
- After our free time, we will have a break for shopping for regionally produced Turkish coffee and dried fruits. After shopping, we will board our bus to visit Beyazsu and embark on our tour of Dara Ancient City.
- We reach Beyazsu, fed from the springs at the foot of the plateau and hills south of Midyat. Here, surrounded by greenery in Mardin's dry and treeless geography, we will enjoy a short tea and coffee break. Afterward, we head to Dara Ancient City, located 30 km southeast of Mardin in Oğuz village. This archaeological site is one of the most important settlements in Upper Mesopotamia, consisting of rock-cut structures spread over a vast area. We will explore Dara Ancient City with our guide. After our visit, we will head to Nusaybin, at the zero point of the border.
- Nusaybin, an important city in Mesopotamia, boasts approximately 7000 years of history and a 4000-year name history. We will visit Mor Yakup Church, the largest school in Mesopotamia, and then the Zeynel Abidin Complex, which also contains the tombs of Zeynel Abidin and his sister Sitti Zeynep. After getting the information from our guide about the complex, we will have a tea and coffee break at a village café at the border point. After some free time, we will head back to Dara Ancient City.
- Dara Ancient City, one of the most significant settlements in Upper Mesopotamia, is located 30 km southeast of Mardin. Comprising rock-cut structures spread over a broad area, we will visit Dara Ancient City with our guide. After touring Dara Ancient City, we will proceed to Kasımiye Medrese.
- Started during the Artuqid period and completed at the end of the 15th century during the reign of the Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım ibn Cihangir, we will learn about the medrese from our guide and have time to take photos before heading to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 5

- On the 5th day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, after our breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Old Mardin. We disembark at Diyarbakır Gate and begin our walking tour through the streets of Old Mardin. Starting at Republic Square, we will see Sheikh Çabuk Mosque, Mardin Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, Sokulbar (Inekler Bazaar), and Copper Bazaar. During our walk, we will visit the Ulu Mosque, an architectural landmark of the Artuqid period, with guidance from our guide. The Ulu Mosque, recorded as constructed in 1176 and rebuilt in 1888/1889, is recognized for its distinct layered dome and minaret. However, some say it may have originally been a church; our guide will provide us with insights. Continuing our walk through the small tunnels connecting the streets known as Abbaras, we will see the old Ermeni Mansion recognized as Şahtana Mansion, once used as a PTT Building. We will then visit Şehidiye Mosque, constructed in the early 13th century by Sultan Melik Nasreddin Artuk Aslan, and explore the Olgunlaşma Institute, located near Mardin Castle, guided by our expert.
- After taking a break to enjoy a cup of tea with a view of the Mesopotamia Plain and some gorgeous photos, we bid farewell to Mardin and set off towards Şanlıurfa, known as the city of prophets, where Hz. İbrahim was born and cast into the fire, and Hz. Eyüp endured his trials, as well as where Hz. Şuayip worshipped.
- We arrive at Göbeklitepe Höyüğü, near the Örencik Village in Urfa, where it hosts the first temples of humanity and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since its discovery, Göbeklitepe has transformed the history of not only the region but humanity as a whole, dating back 12,000 years, featured on the cover of National Geographic with the slogan "The Place Where Religion Was Born." After receiving information about Göbeklitepe, we proceed to visit Balıklı Göl, another notable tourist destination in Şanlıurfa. Located southwest of Şanlıurfa's city center, Balıklı Göl is believed to be the spot where Prophet İbrahim fell when he was thrown into the fire. Known for its sacred fish and surrounding historical monuments, Balıklı Göl attracts numerous visitors. We will see the lake formed where Hz. İbrahim fell into the fire (Halil-Ür Rahman) and Aynzeliha Lake, allegedly created from Zeliha, the daughter of Nimrod's tears, and receive some insights from our guide before taking a photo break. Afterward, we will have free time to shop for local products unique to Şanlıurfa. After free time, we will head back to our hotel. Guests wishing to experience the cultural depth of the region can join the extra Turkish night event featuring music and dance.

Day 6

- On the last day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel then head to Harran, meaning "the crossroads of roads." Harran, one of only three regions in the world with conical domed houses, holds a 5000-year history as the site of the first Islamic university, and we will visit Harran University (Ulu Mosque), Harran Mound, Fortress, Caravanserai, and traditional conical domed houses, as well as one of these houses. While visiting the guesthouse, guests can dress in local clothes and take photos. After our visit in Harran, we will visit the Sabır Makamı, where Prophet Eyyub, known for his patience, suffered. We will see the refuge where he supposedly endured his ordeal, the healing spring water, and the patience stone he relied upon during his hardships. After our visit, we will head to Halfeti, one of our country’s “Cittaslow” cities.
- After part of Halfeti was submerged due to the construction of the Birecik Dam, those who wish can board our waiting boat for a Halfeti Boat Tour. (Extra) During our tour of the reservoir, we will view the Kral Kızı Cave, Rumkale, and the submerged mosque and minaret in the village of Bilesur that became part of the river due to the dam. After the boat tour, we will take a short break in Halfeti before heading to Adana.
- Passing through the historic Stone Bridge on the Seyhan River, we will view the Sabancı Central Mosque, one of the most significant mosques in the region. After dinner in the culturally rich and culinary haven of Adana, we conclude our GAP Tour with Dgn Travel and begin our travel to the airport for our flight. As we reach the airport, we bid farewell until we meet again in another Dgn Travel organization.
