Important Notes
• The tour duration is 5 days and includes 5 nights of hotel accommodation, including the departure and return days.
• In our tour, guidance, transportation, accommodation, and excursions are packaged together and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guidance, excursions, etc. rights cannot be refunded.
• Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child only accompanying two adults. In accommodations for children aged 0-6, a separate bed may not be provided.
• In hotel accommodations, the third guest in triple rooms typically stays in an extra bed.
• The hotels listed in the program are the priority accommodation facilities of Dgn Travel. Changes may be made to the hotel standards as long as they remain the same, depending on the occupancy in the designated area and hotels. Hotel names will be communicated to guests 48 hours before the departure of the tour if requested based on availability.
• The rooms in the hotels are determined by the hotel. Choices between rooms are not allowed.
• Our rest stops may change in location and service standards due to factors such as congestion or renovations, as long as they remain the same standard.
• The timing of the program (the order of points to be visited during the day or between days) may be changed by the guide if necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, the congestion of visited places, etc.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for places specified in the tour program that cannot be visited due to force majeure situations (weather, road conditions, congestion at visiting places, etc.) or if guests do not comply with the timings given by our guide. In such a case, guests do not have any claim rights.
• In our flights with tours, the regional airports may be changed in a way that does not affect the tour program's visiting points. In such a case, information will be provided to guests by Dgn Travel along with the flight tickets. If there is no deficiency in the program regarding the airport change, guests do not have any claim rights.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for program disruptions caused by weather conditions or delays arising from the airline in our flight tours. In such a case, guests do not have any claim rights.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for changes in flight times made by the airline company. Any changes in flight times will be communicated to guests by Dgn Travel.
• In our flight tours, our guide may greet guests at the regional airport. Guests must carry out their boarding procedures individually at the departure airport. In such a case, Dgn Travel will inform its guests one day in advance.
• Guests from other cities joining our flight and bus tours can participate in the tour collectively from the airport. In such cases, delays may occur at the airport due to flight times.
• A tiered pricing system applies to all our tours. As the number of reservations in the package tour increases and the date approaches, tour prices may also increase progressively. Dgn Travel reserves the right to increase prices. In this case, prices cannot be fixed without an advance payment.
• During the reservation, the guarantee of a specific seat number cannot be given. There is no guarantee for the notes entered in the reservation. Special seat selections such as front or back seats are not allowed.
• The seat arrangement inside the vehicle is adjusted by the Dgn Travel Operation, taking into account the reservation order. In cases of objections regarding seat placement, refunds are not possible. All the seats in our vehicles are of the same standard.
• Extra tours such as night tours included in the tour program will take place based on the number of participants and the availability of personnel. Extra tours on the way will be conducted even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not participate in extra tours will be directed by our guide to rest areas or city centers. Guests who do not participate in extra tours have joined the tour on the condition of waiting at the rest stop.
• If an extra tour does not take place for any reason, guests do not have any claim rights. Dgn Travel has no responsibility in this regard.
• Extra tour prices may vary by periods. In such a case, the date of the tour is taken into account rather than the date the guest purchased the tour. The extra tour price valid at the time of the tour applies. The guest has agreed to this condition when purchasing the tour.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any material damages caused by guests in all services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, dining areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to demand compensation for damages caused by guests.
• In cases where children under 18 are not accompanied by one or both parents, a notarized consent form must be kept with the individuals during the trip.
• Guests participating in the tour are required to bring reports regarding health issues, pregnancy, and medications they use regularly.
• There may be delays due to traffic, accidents, etc. at the determined times of departure points.
• Information regarding the expected arrival times at the end of the tour is tentative, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure.
• Guests will be dropped off at the opposite side of the stops we pick them up at the end of the tour. Please do not insist on dropping off at a different location with the vehicle staff.
• According to traffic law, all guests in the vehicle are required to wear seat belts during their travels; otherwise, Dgn Travel is not responsible for any issues.
• The responsibility for all personal belongings in the vehicle rests with the guests at rest stops, etc.
• Since the first day's tour will begin before checking into the hotel, please prepare the items you need to have with you separately.
• During the tour, due to the program's density, it may not always be possible to find ATMs, currency exchange offices, etc.; therefore, it is advisable to be prepared.
• Long distances may be traveled during the programs. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide inside the vehicle.
• Lunches have been prepared with region-specific economical menus. During lunch and dinner, tables may be divided according to regional density.
• The starting and ending routes of our tours are determined according to the intensity of the region. Guests can find out the confirmed start and end of the route two days before the tour starts if they wish.
• If the tour does not reach the required number as determined by the agency, the guest will be informed and can choose to postpone the tour to the next date, cancel it, or be ticketed to the nearest departure point to participate in the tour. In such cases, the agency is obliged to inform the guest three (3) days in advance via phone, SMS, or email. In this situation, guests do not have any claim rights.
• Guests who cancel or change their reservations without cause up to 30 days before the service's start date will have their paid amount refunded. Cancellations and changes made between 29 and 15 days before the tour date will incur a deduction of 30% of the reservation fee; cancellations and changes made between 15-7 days will incur a deduction of 50% of the reservation fee; cancellations and changes within 7 days or less will incur a deduction of 100% of the reservation fee.
• Guests who purchase Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Packages can cancel their purchased package tour without giving reason up to 72 hours before the tour's start date. The entire amount paid after cancellation will be refunded without any deductions, according to the payment method. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover flight tickets.
• Museum Cards and entrance fees to museums and heritage sites are not included in the tour price. All museum entrance fees are to be paid by the guests.
CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND ASSURANCE PACKAGE
The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package allows guests to cancel or change their purchased package tour without stating any reason up to 72 hours before the tour's start date. Upon cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions based on the payment method. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package do not include flight transfers in flight tours. Guests wishing to purchase this package can add it to their reservation during the booking process. MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NUMBER 1618
Mandatory Travel Insurance number 1618 covers the agency's bankruptcy or any reason that prevents the provision of package tour services. It is included in the tour price. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment costs. Private health insurance expenses are the responsibility of the guest.

In our tours, transportation is classified according to the number of participants as follows. The type of vehicle provided varies by the number of participants in each of our tours. Our vehicles do not have headphones. Vehicles with TV units do not allow charging your phone as it decreases the battery lifespan; therefore, we recommend bringing an external charger.

Day 1

- We meet with our valued guests at Adana Airport following our flight in the morning for our Gap Tour. After heading to our bus and starting the day with a breakfast break, we visit the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, where a significant miracle occurred for both Christianity and Islam. It is believed that the seven young men who fled from the tyrannical king mentioned in the Quran's Surah Kahf slept for 3 centuries in this cave, along with their dog. After our tour with our guide, we visit the Nusret Mine Ship and take a panoramic city tour, viewing the Cleopatra Gate and receiving information. We explore the historical Tarsus Houses and streets and learn about the city before visiting Makam-ı Danyal Mosque, where the tomb of the Prophet Daniel, respected by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, is located. We then visit Ulu Mosque and Kırkkaşık Bedesten and have free time for shopping. After bidding farewell to the historic city, we begin our journey toward Gaziantep.
- In Gaziantep, we start by having lunch. After lunch, we visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. After the Zeugma City, which was founded by the Seleucids and named for its meaning of bringing two banks together in the Roman language, was submerged under the waters of the Birecik Dam, the floor mosaics from the villas of Roman generals were excavated and displayed in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Opened in Gaziantep on September 9, 2011, and covering an area of 1700 square meters, this museum is the third largest mosaic museum in the world and showcases the world-famous "Gypsy Girl" mosaic among others based on themes from Greek mythology, which we will explore with our guide. After visiting the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, we will view Gaziantep Castle, located on a hill in the city center, from a panoramic perspective. Although the exact date of its construction is unknown, it is known to have been used for observation purposes during the Roman period. The castle has been restored several times throughout history and received its current form from a restoration completed in the early 2000s. After a brief photo stop, we will see the Sedefçiler (Mother of Pearl Artisans), Spices Bazaar, Vegetable Market, Historic Pasha Inn, Tahthan Mosque, Long Bazaar, Historic Customs Inn, Zincirli Bedesten, and Shoemakers Bazaar before arriving at the Copper Bazaar. At the entrance of the bazaar, we visit the tombs of Pirsefa Hazretleri and Hz. Yuşa. We then explore the Almacı Bazaar, known as the oldest bazaar in Gaziantep, with a history of 250 years. Afterward, we reach Tahmis Coffee, which was built between 1635-1638 by the Türkmen Ağa and Sanjak Bey Mustafa Ağa Bin Yusuf to provide income for the Mevlevihane Tekkesi. We have free time to enjoy Menengiç Coffee and shop in the bazaars. After our free time, we take a short break for shopping for Gaziantep's famous baklava and pistachios. After shopping, we visit the Şahinbey National Struggle Museum, where the resistance of the people of Antep against enemy occupation and the defense that earned them the title of "Gazi" is narrated, and we tour this contemporary underground museum with our guide. Afterwards, we head to our hotel for the evening meal and overnight stay.

Day 2

- On the second day of the Gap Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Kahta in Adıyaman. Upon arrival in Kahta, we board the minibuses waiting for us to reach Karakuş Tumulus, where the graves of King Mithridates of Commagene and his family are located. After experiencing the magnificent view and receiving explanations from our guide, we board our minibuses again and visit the 18-century-old Cendere Bridge, one of the most magnificent bridges of the Roman period, built over the Cendere stream. After a photo break here, we begin our ascent to Nemrut Mountain at an altitude of 2150 meters in the Eastern Taurus mountain range. At the summit, we find the Tumulus of King Antiochos I. The gigantic statues of Zeus (Oromasdes), Apollon, Mithras, Helios, Hermes, Herakles, Artagnes, Ares, Commagene, Tiche, and Antiochos himself built on the eastern and western terraces showcase the blend of Greek-Persian culture and traditions fostered by King Antiochos. After receiving necessary information from our guide, we savor the incomparable view while recalling Antiochos's will: “My birthday should be celebrated every month and year, and on these days the chief priest will, cloaked in the Pers attire generously granted by me and the laws, place golden wreaths on all of us, burn scents profusely, and offer sufficient sacrifices. The citizens gathered here will feast and celebrate abundantly.”
- After our tour of Nemrut Mountain, we cross the Nissibi Bridge, which connects Kahta and Siverek, known as the Bridge of the East, and head towards Diyarbakır, one of the oldest and most rooted cities in the Southeastern Anatolia region. We photograph the Hevsel Gardens, recognized in 2015 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located along the banks of the Tigris River, which holds both agricultural and cultural significance. We then arrive at the On Gözlü Bridge, where the local people would throw wishes written on cloth into the Tigris River during the Hidrellez festival. After our photo break here, we panoramically view the city walls of Diyarbakır, with Keçi Burcu, Urfa Gate, and Mardin Gate being the oldest among them, known to have a history of 9000 years. Arriving at Diyarbakır city center, we visit the Four-Legged Minaret (Şeyh Mutahhar Mosque), built by Akkoyunlu Kasım Bey in 1500, and explore the Ulu Mosque, known as the 5th Harem-i Sharif of the Islamic World and the first of Anatolia. After that, we visit Hasanpa Han, the largest han in the region. Next, we visit the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Museum, home to the poet known for his phrase “At thirty-five, half the road is done.” Note that if maintenance and renovation work has not been completed, this visit will not proceed. In the beautiful house with different usage areas for each season, you will see fine examples of regional civil architecture. After this brief break, we head to our hotel for the evening meal and overnight stay.

Day 3
- Malabadi Bridge – Batman – Hasankeyf – Mağaraköy – Haberli Village – Mor Gabriel Monastery - Midyat
- On the third day of the Gap Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel and then depart for the Malabadi Bridge, located within the borders of Silvan. The Malabadi Bridge, built during the Artuqid dynasty, has the largest arch opening that has survived to today in the world. We take a photo break here. Afterward, we bid farewell to Diyarbakır and head towards Hasankeyf in Batman.
- We arrive at Hasankeyf, where Turkey’s first oil wells are located, while observing oil pumps along the way. Hasankeyf has a history dating back 12 thousand years. With the certainty of the construction of the Ilısu Dam, a new settlement has been established 3 km away. During our visit to the area submerged by water since February 2020, we will see the Hasankeyf Castle, the Minaret of El Rızık Mosque, and the caves, and we will have free time. During this free time, guests can participate in a boat tour to see the old Hasankeyf from the Ilısu Dam closely, if they wish. (Extra) After our free time, we head to Mağaraköy (Kiwex), located within the borders of Şırnak.
- Mağaraköy, where the Yazidis have lived according to their beliefs and lifestyle for centuries, is completely abandoned. It gets its name from the caves carved and used beneath the houses. After receiving information from our guide about Yazidi culture, the village's texture, scent, cemetery area, and house structure will take you to that moment in time. After a free time here, we move to the Süryani village of Haberli (Basibirin). The presence of 23 churches in the village provides insight into its past vibrancy and density. We will visit the open Mor Eşayho Church with our guide. This Süryani village, which is trying to revive, has produced 3 Patriarchs, 3 assistant Patriarchs, and 31 Metropolitans. After exploring the village, we will stop for tea at the village coffee house and chat with the locals before bidding farewell. After that, we board our bus and head to the Mor Gabriel Monastery, located within the borders of Midyat. (If there is a high volume of visitors, we will visit Deyrulzafaran Monastery instead.) This cultural site, founded by Mor Shmuel and Mor Şemun in 397, is one of the famous and grand structures of the Syriac Ancient Community. After our tour of the monastery, we head towards our hotel located in the meeting point of religions and languages, in Midyat. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 4
- Midyat Guesthouse – Telkari Workshop - Beyazsu – Nusaybin – Mor Yakup Church – Zeynel Abidin Mosque – Dara Ancient City - Kasımiye Medrese – Mardin
- On the fourth day of the Gap Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Midyat to visit the Midyat Guesthouse, where popular series like Sıla, Hercai, and Ah Bir Bulut Olsam were filmed. After our visit to the guesthouse where you can take wonderful photos, we proceed to visit a telkari workshop, where traditional silver filigree work, developed by Syriac masters for years, is seen and we can shop for handcrafted items. After our shopping, we will have free time to wander among the historical Midyat Houses. After our free time, we meet our expectations with our bus and make a stop for shopping for local roasted coffee and nuts. After shopping, we board our bus to conduct our Beyazsu and Dara Ancient City Tour.
- We arrive at Beyazsu, which springs from the base of the plateau and hills south of Midyat. In the arid and treeless geography of Mardin, Beyazsu offers refreshing and clear waters, trees, and greenery, and we take a short break for tea or coffee here. Then we proceed to Dara Ancient City. Located 30 km southeast of Mardin, in Oğuz Village, Dara Ancient City is one of the most significant settlements in Upper Mesopotamia. We explore the rock-carved buildings sprawling over a large area in Dara Ancient City with our guide. After exploring Dara Ancient City, we head towards Nusaybin, which is at the zero point of the border.
- Nusaybin, an important city of Mesopotamia with a history of approximately 7000 years and a name history of 4000 years, has a part of its continuous settlement area in Syria and a significant part in Turkish territory. We visit the Mor Yakup Church, the largest school in Mesopotamia. After learning about Mor Evgin and Mir Osman, we visit the Zeynel Abidin Complex. After receiving information from our guide about the complex, which houses the tombs of Zeynel Abidin and his sister Sitti Zeynep, we stop at a village coffee house for tea or coffee right at the edge of the border. After our free time, we continue our journey to Dara Ancient City.
- Dara Ancient City, located 30 km southeast of Mardin, in Oğuz Village, is one of the most significant settlements in Upper Mesopotamia. We explore the rock-carved structures that spread across a wide area in Dara Ancient City with our guide. After visiting the Dara Ancient City, we head to Kasımiye Medrese.
- Started during the Artuqid dynasty, the Kasımiye Medrese was completed during the period of Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım ibn Cihangir in the late 15th century. We will receive information from our guide and take photographs before heading to our hotel for the night. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 5
- Old Mardin – Sheikh Çabuk Mosque – Republic Square – Latifiye Mosque – Ulu Mosque – Abbaras – Historical PTT Building (Şahtana Mansion) – Şehidiye Mosque – Olgunlaşma Institute - Mesopotamia Plain – Şanlıurfa - Göbeklitepe – Balıklı Göl – Aynzeliha Lake
- On the fifth day of the Gap Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Old Mardin. Starting our walk in Old Mardin, we will see Sheikh Çabuk Mosque, the Mardin Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, Sokulbar (Cows Market), and Copper Bazaar. During our walking tour, we visit the Mardin Ulu Mosque, an architectural example from the Artuqid period. The Mardin Ulu Mosque, with its segmented dome and minaret, is recorded as having been built with two minarets. However, the current single minaret was added with new and eclectic style constructions in 1888/1889. Some Syriac writers state that it was converted from a church. Whether converted or not, an old church existed at the location. After receiving information from our guide, we continue our walk, passing beneath the Abbaras (small tunelled streets) that connect these streets together. We then see the Şahtana Mansion, which once served as the PTT Building, and visit the Şehidiye Mosque built by the Artuqid Sultan Melik Nasreddin Artuk Aslan in the early 13th century. Next, we visit the Olgunlaşma Institute located at the foot of Mardin Castle, which impresses with its historical grandeur. After exploring the Olgunlaşma Institute, we take a short break to enjoy tea or coffee and take magnificent photographs while overlooking the Mesopotamia plain before leaving Mardin and heading towards Şanlıurfa, the city of prophets.
- We arrive at Göbeklitepe Höyüğü, located near the village of Örencik in Şanlıurfa, which is home to the first temples in both Anatolia and the world and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Since its discovery, it has transformed our understanding of not only regional history but also human history as a whole. Dating back to 12 thousand years ago, Göbeklitepe was featured on the cover of National Geographic magazine globally with the slogan "The Place Where Religion Was Born." After receiving information about Göbeklitepe from our guide, we visit Balıklı Göl, one of the prominent attractions in Şanlıurfa. Balıklı Göl, known as the place where Prophet Ibrahim fell into the fire, is famous for its sacred fish and surrounding historical artifacts, drawing the highest number of visitors in Şanlıurfa. We will see the Balıklı Göl (Halil-Ür Rahman) formed at the place where Hz. İbrahim was thrown into the fire, and Aynzeliha Lake, claimed to be formed from the tears of Zeliha, daughter of Nimrod, before taking a photo break. Afterward, we have free time to shop for local products unique to Şanlıurfa. After our free time, we head towards our hotel. Guests who wish can join an extra program to experience a cultural night with a local folk music event.

- On the final day of the Gap Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Harran, meaning "the intersection of roads." Harran is protected for its conical domed houses found only in three regions of the world. Harran also hosted the first Islamic university and has a history of 5000 years, where we will see Harran University (Grand Mosque), Harran Mound, Castle, Caravansary, and the traditional conical domed houses, visiting one of them. During our visit to the guesthouse, you can wear regional clothes to take photos. After our Harran visit, we go to the Hz. Eyüp Prophet's Patience Tomb, where he is reputed to have suffered (and healed) during his sickness along with the well believed to have healing properties and the “patience stone” he leaned against. After this visit, we head to Halfeti, one of Turkey's "Cittaslow" cities.
- In Halfeti, part of which is submerged after the construction of the Birecik Dam, we board the boat waiting for us to begin the Halfeti Boat Tour (Extra). During our cruise on the reservoir, we will see the Kral Kızı Cave, Rumkale, and the mosque and minaret of the Bilesur War Village, both of which are underwater. After our boat tour, we take a short break in Halfeti. After our break, we head towards Adana.
- We stop for a panoramic view of the historical Stone Bridge over the Seyhan River, followed by observing the Sabancı Central Mosque, one of the region's most important mosques, learning about its significance. After having dinner in Adana, we conclude our Gap Tour with Dgn Travel and proceed to the airport for our flight. After arriving at the airport, we bid farewell until we meet again at another Dgn Travel organization.
