Important Notes
• The tour duration is 7 Nights 8 Days including the departure and return days, with 5 nights of hotel accommodation. The journey takes 2 nights.
• In our tour, guidance, transportation, accommodation, and site visits are offered as a package and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guidance, site visits, etc., cannot be refunded.
• Child discounts applied in tour packages are applicable for one child accompanying two adults. For children aged 0-6, a separate bed may not be provided in hotel accommodations.
• In hotel accommodations, the third guest in triple rooms typically stays in an extra bed.
• The hotels listed in the program are the preferred accommodation facilities of Dgn Travel. Hotel standards may change according to availability in the region and hotels, provided that they remain the same. Hotel names will be communicated 48 hours before departure upon request, subject to availability.
• The rooms in the hotels are determined by the hotel itself. No choice can be made between rooms.
• Our break points may change regarding location and service standards due to force majeure reasons such as crowding or renovations, provided that they remain the same.
• The program timing (the order of visited points during the day or between days) may be altered by the guide if deemed necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, crowding at the visit points, etc.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for places listed in the tour program that may not be visited due to force majeure reasons (weather, road, crowding at visit points, etc.) or for guests not adhering to the timings provided by our guide during the tour. In such cases, guests will not have the right to claim.
• In our tours with flights and buses, guests from other cities may join the tour from the airport in a regional gathering manner. In such cases, there may be delays at the airport due to flight times.
• A gradual pricing system is applied in all our tours. As the number of reservations within the package tour increases and the date approaches, the tour prices may gradually rise. Dgn Travel reserves the right to increase prices. In this case, prices cannot be fixed without an advance payment.
• During the reservation, it is not possible to guarantee a specific seat number. There is no guarantee for the notes entered into the reservation. Special seat selection, such as front or back seats, is not permitted.
• The seat arrangement within the vehicle is configured by Dgn Travel Operations based on the order of reservations. In case of objections regarding the seating arrangement, refunds for payments are not possible. All seats in our vehicles are of the same standard.
• Extra tours such as night tours included in the tour program will occur based on the number of participants and the conditions of available staff. Extra tours to be conducted on the road will be carried out even if all guests do not participate. Guests who do not participate in extra tours are directed by our guide to resting areas or city centers. Guests who do not participate in extra tours have accepted to wait at rest areas while attending the tour.
• If an extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest will not have any claims. Dgn Travel has no responsibility in this case.
• The prices of extra tours may vary by periods. In such cases, the date when the guest purchased the tour is not considered, but the departure date of the tour is taken into account. The extra tour price applicable for the period in which the tour takes place will apply. The guest has accepted this by purchasing the tour.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any material damages caused by guests in all services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, dining areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to seek damages caused by guests.
• In cases where children under 18 years (not legally adults) do not participate with one or both parents, a notarized consent form is required to be carried by the individuals during the trip.
• Guests participating in the tour must carry reports regarding health issues, pregnancy status, and medications they are using continuously.
• Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc., during the departure times determined for starting points.
• Information regarding arrival times at the end of the tour is tentative, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays that may arise due to force majeure reasons.
• Guests will be dropped off at the opposite direction of the stops taken at the end of the tour. Please do not insist on the vehicle staff to drop you off at a different point.
• According to the traffic law, all guests in the vehicle are required to wear seatbelts throughout the trip, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for any accidents in contrary situations.
• The responsibility for all personal belongings in the vehicle lies with the guest at break locations, etc.
• Since the first day’s trip will start before entering the hotel, please prepare the items you need to bring separately.
• During the tour, due to program density, it may not always be possible to find ATMs, currency exchange offices, etc. Therefore, it is advisable to be prepared.
• Long distances may be covered during the programs to be carried out. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide during the journey.
• Lunches consist of economical menus specific to the region. During lunch and dinner, tables may be separated into groups depending on regional density.
• The starting and ending routes of our tours are determined according to regional density. Guests can learn the confirmed starting and ending route of the tour, if they wish, 2 days prior by contacting us.
• If the tour does not reach a sufficient number of participants as determined by the agency, the guest will be informed and may choose to postpone the tour to the next date or cancel it. Alternatively, ticketing may be done to the nearest departure point to allow the guest to participate in the tour. In such cases, the agency is obliged to inform the guest by phone, SMS, or email three (3) days in advance. In this situation, guests will not have the right to claim.
• If the guest cancels or changes the service without providing any reason more than 30 days before the start date, the paid amount will be refunded. For cancellations and changes made between 29 and 15 days before the tour date, 30% of the reservation fee will be deducted; for cancellations and changes made between 15-7 days, 50% will be deducted; and for cancellations and changes made 7 days or less before, 100% of the reservation fee will be deducted.
• Guests who purchased the Cancellation Refund and Guarantee Package can cancel the purchased package tour without providing a reason until 72 hours before the tour start date. The full amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions based on the payment method. The Cancellation Refund and Guarantee Package does not cover flight tickets.
• Museum Cards and entrance fees for museums are not included in the tour price. All museum entrance fees are to be paid by guests.
CANCELLATION REFUND AND GUARANTEE PACKAGE
The Cancellation Refund and Guarantee Package allows the guest to cancel or change the purchased package tour within 72 hours before the start date without the need for any reason. Upon cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded in full without any deductions, according to the payment method. The Cancellation Refund and Guarantee Package does not cover transportation for tours with flights. For this tour, the Cancellation Refund and Guarantee Package is 1500 TL.
MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NO. 1618
The scope of Mandatory Travel Insurance No. 1618 covers the agency's bankruptcy or the inability to provide any reason for the package tour service. It is included in the tour price. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment expenses. Private health insurance costs are the responsibility of the guest.

- After picking up our valued guests from the specified points, we begin our night journey with Dgn Travel for the Classic GAP Tour.
Day 2

- After our night journey, we start our GAP tour with Dgn Travel in Tarsus, where we have breakfast at Tarsus Waterfalls, a beauty bestowed by nature. Then we visit Eshab-ı Kehf Cave, where a significant miracle for Christianity and Islam occurred. It is believed that seven young men, along with their dog, took refuge in this cave and slept for three centuries, as mentioned in the Quran's Surah Al-Kahf. After exploring the cave with our guide, we visit the Nusrat Mine Ship. We see the Cleopatra Gate and get information during a panoramic city tour. After viewing the historical Tarsus Houses and streets, we learn about the city before visiting the Tomb of Prophet Daniel at Danyal Mosque, revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike. We then explore Ulu Mosque and Kırkkaşık Bedesten, followed by some free time for shopping. We say farewell to this historic city full of historical buildings and head towards Gaziantep.
- In Gaziantep, our first activity is to have lunch. After lunch, we visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Established by the Seleucids and named for uniting the two banks in the Roman language, we head to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, which showcases the villa floor mosaics removed from the submerged areas of the Birecik Dam. Opened on September 9, 2011, in Gaziantep and covering 1700 square meters, it is the third-largest mosaic museum in the world. Here, we see the world-famous "Gypsy Girl" mosaic and mosaics relevant to Greek mythology, guided by our tour guide. After our visit to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, we see the Gaziantep Castle, located on a hill in the city center, which was used for observation purposes during the Roman period. The castle has been restored many times throughout history and received its final form in the early 2000s. After a short photo break, we view the Sedefçiler, Spice Traders, Vegetable Hall, Historical Pasha Inn, Tahtani Mosque, Uzun Bazaar, Historical Customs Inn, Zincirli Bedesten, and Kundu Masters Bazaar before reaching the Copper Bazaar. Here, we visit the tombs of Pirsefa Hazretleri and Hz. Yuşa. Next, we explore Almacı Bazaar, known as the oldest bazaar in Gaziantep, which is 250 years old. Our next stop is Tahmis Coffee, built between 1635-1638 by Mustafa Ağa Bin Yusuf, a Turkmen Ağa and District Chief, for the Mevlevihane Monastery to generate income. We enjoy Menengiç Coffee here and have some free time for shopping in the bazaar. After our shopping break, we visit the Şahinbey National Struggle Museum, where we learn about the resistance exhibited by the people of Antep against enemy occupation, and the museum, built underground, is explored with our guide. After our visit, we head to our hotel for the night, where dinner and accommodation will be provided.

Day 3
- Adıyaman - Kahta - Karakuş Mound - Cendere Bridge - Nemrut Mountain – Nissibi Bridge - Diyarbakır – Hevsel Gardens – Seven-Arch Bridge – Tigris River – Mardin Gate – Goat Castle – Ulu Mosque – Hasan Pasha Inn - Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Museum
- On the third day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we will have breakfast at the hotel in the morning before departing for Kahta district in Adıyaman.
- In Kahta, guests who wish can board the minibuses waiting for us and begin our tour of Nemrut Mountain (Extra). Our first stop is Karakuş Mound, where the graves of King Mithridates of Commagene and his family are located. After hearing explanations from our guide amidst the breathtaking view, we hop back on the minibuses and set off for the Cendere Bridge, built over the Cendere Stream in the Roman period. After a photo break here, we begin our ascent to Nemrut Mountain, which stands at 2150 meters in the East Taurus mountain range. At the summit, we find King Antiochos' Mound, and on the eastern and western terraces, there are giant statues commissioned by King Antiochos, depicting Zeus (Oromasdes), Apollo, Mithras, Helios, Hermes, Heracles, Artagnes, Ares, Commagene, Tiche, and himself. King Antiochos clearly reinforces the traditions of Yunan-Pers religion and culture in these works. After receiving necessary information from our guide, we take in the unique landscape while recalling Antiochos’ will; “My birthday will be celebrated every month and year, and on these days, the chief priest will be burdened in Persian garb, offering golden wreaths for all of us, burning plenty of incense, and they will sacrifice generously and prepare the sacred tables with the finest meals and wines. My nation gathered here will eat and enjoy abundantly.”
- After touring Nemrut Mountain, we cross the Nissibi Bridge, known as the Bridge of the East, which connects Kahta and Siverek, and head to Diyarbakır, one of the oldest and most rooted cities in the Southeast. We take photographs in Hevsel Gardens, a culturally and historically unique place recognized by UNESCO in 2015, located on the banks of the Tigris River. Next, we arrive at the Seven-Arch Bridge, where local people traditionally tossed wish notes into the river during Hıdırellez. After a photo break, we view prominently the ancient city walls of Diyarbakır, including the oldest remaining parts of the city, such as Goat Gate, Urfa Gate, and Mardin Gate, before reaching the city center. We visit the Four-Legged Minaret (Sheikh Mutahhar Mosque), built in 1500 by Kasım Bey of the Akkoyunlu dynasty, and then explore Ulu Mosque, the first of its kind in Anatolia and the 5th Harem-i Sharif in the Islamic world. Afterward, we visit the largest Han in the region, Hasan Pasha Inn. Next on our itinerary is the home and museum of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, the famous poet known for his line "At thirty-five, half of the journey". Here, we will get acquainted with the examples of civil architecture in the region. Following a brief break, we head to our hotel for the night, where dinner and accommodation will be provided.

Day 4
- Malabadi Bridge – Batman – Hasankeyf – Mağaraköy – Haberli Village – Mor Gabriel Monastery - Midyat
- On the 4th day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Malabadi Bridge, located within the borders of Silvan. We take a photo break at Malabadi Bridge, which was built during the Artuqids period and is the largest stone arch bridge in the world still standing. Afterward, we say goodbye to Diyarbakır, moving towards Hasankeyf in Batman.
- Passing through Batman, where Turkey's first oil wells are located, we arrive in Hasankeyf. With a history dating back 12 thousand years, Hasankeyf has had a new settlement established 3 km away since the confirmation of the Ilısu Dam's construction. In February 2020, Hasankeyf was submerged, and we share the sorrow of Hasankeyf during this visit, viewing the preserved Hasankeyf Castle, the Minaret of the El Rızık Mosque, and the caves while we have free time. During this free time, guests may participate in a boat tour on the Ilısu dam to see the old Hasankeyf from up close. (Extra) After our free time, we head towards Mağaraköy (Kiwex), located within the borders of Şırnak, via Midyat.
- Mağaraköy, where the Yazidis have lived for centuries according to their beliefs and ways of life, is entirely abandoned. Named after the caves carved and used below the houses, we receive information from our guide about Yazidi culture. The village's essence, scents, burial area, and the structure of the houses will transport you to that timeless moment. After some free time, we move to the village of Haberli (Basibirin). The village, home to 23 churches, offers insights into its past vibrancy and intensity. We visit the Mor Eşayho Church from the open churches with our guide. This solely Syriac-inhabited village has produced 3 patriarchs, 3 patriarch assistants, and 31 metropolitans. After learning about the village, we conclude our visit with tea in the village coffeehouse, chatting with locals before departing. We board the bus for our visit to Mor Gabriel Monastery located in Midyat. (If overcrowded, Deyrulzafaran Monastery may be visited.) One of the renowned and grand structures of the Syriac Ancient Community, the monastery is perched atop a hill covered with oak trees. Founded in 397 by Mor Shmuel and Mor Shemun, we will explore the monastery with our guide. The name "Deyrulumur," derived from the Syriac meaning "Abode of Monks," is another title for the monastery. After our visit, we head to our hotel located in Midyat. Dinner and accommodation will be at the hotel.

Day 5
- Midyat Konukevi – Telkari Workshop - Beyazsu – Nusaybin – Mor Yakup Church – Zeynel Abidin Mosque – Dara Ancient City - Kasımiye Medrese – Mardin
- On the 5th day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we will have breakfast at the hotel and then depart for the Midyat Konukevi, where shows such as Sıla, Hercai, and Ah Bir Bulut Olsam were filmed. After our wonderful photo opportunities at the Konukevi, we will visit a Telkari workshop, where we can see and purchase examples of the jewelry crafted by Syriac masters for generations. After our shopping, we take some free time to stroll among the historic Midyat houses. After our free time, we meet our coach for a break for unique local coffee and snacks.
- We continue to Beyazsu and then to the Dara Ancient City. We reach Beyazsu, which springs from the slopes of the plateau and hills south of Midyat. Known for its cool and clear waters, trees, and greenery, we take a break here for tea or coffee. Following that, we head to the Dara Ancient City, located 30 km southeast of Mardin in Oğuz Village. Dara is among the most important settlements in Upper Mesopotamia, consisting of structures carved into rock and spread over a vast area. We will explore the Dara Ancient City with our guide. Then we will make our way to Nusaybin, near the zero-point of the border.
- Nusaybin, with a history of 7000 years and a name history of 4000 years, is an important city in Mesopotamia, with an uninterrupted area of settlement partly in Syria and largely in Turkey. Here, we will see the Mor Yakup Church, known for its significance. After receiving details about Mor Evgin and Mir Osman, we will visit the Zeynel Abidin Complex, where the tombs of Zeynel Abidin and his sister Sitti Zeynep are also located. We’ll relax with tea and coffee at a village café located at the border's zero point. After a short break, we return to Dara Ancient City.
- The Dara Ancient City, rich in history, is located 30 km southeast of Mardin in Oğuz Village. We tour this expansive area filled with rock-carved structures with our guide before heading to Kasımiye Medrese.
- Founded during the Artuqids and completed during the Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım İbn Cihangir’s reign in the late 15th century, we will gather information from our guide while touring this medrese, taking photos before returning to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6
- Old Mardin – Sheikh Çabuk Mosque – Republic Square – Latifiye Mosque – Ulu Mosque – Abbaras – Historical Ptt Building (Şahtana Mansion) – Şehidiye Mosque – Olgunlaşma Institute - Mesopotamia Plain – Şanlıurfa - Göbeklitepe – Balıklı Göl – Aynzeliha Lake
- On the 6th day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we will have breakfast at the hotel before departing for Old Mardin. We begin walking through the streets of Old Mardin after disembarking from the vehicle at the Diyarbakır Gate. Our walk starts at Republic Square, where we see Sheikh Çabuk Mosque, Mardin Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, Sokulbar (Cows Bazaar), and the Copper Bazaar. During our walk, we explore Mardin Ulu Mosque, one of the architectural examples from the Artuqid period. With its segmented dome and minaret, Ulu Mosque is a symbol of Mardin, and with records indicating its second minaret was built in 1176, the existing minaret was reconstructed between 1888-1889 in a new eclectic style. Reports of it being converted from a church have circulated, and while it’s unlikely, it’s possible that an ancient church existed on the site. After gathering information from our tour guide, we continue our journey through the small tunnels that connect the streets of Mardin, known as Abbara. Next, we will view Şahtana Mansion, an old Armenian mansion that was once used as a PTT building. We continue to visit the Şehidiye Mosque, built in the early 13th century by Sultan Nasir al-Din Artuk Aslan. Up the hill by the Olgunlaşma Institute, we visit this striking historical building and take a short break to enjoy tea while taking photographs against the breathtaking views of the Mesopotamian plains.
- After our break, we say goodbye to Mardin and head to Şanlıurfa, known as the City of Prophets, where Prophet Ibrahim was born and cast into the fire and where Prophet Ayub endured his trials.
- We reach Göbeklitepe Höyük, which houses some of the oldest temples in Anatolia and the world history. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Göbeklitepe changes not only the history of this region but also the history of humanity with its discovery, dating back 12,000 years. This archaeological site was featured on the cover of National Geographic magazine with the slogan "The Place Where Religion Was Born." After our tour of Göbeklitepe and receiving information from our guide, we visit Balıklı Göl, a must-see landmark in Şanlıurfa. Believed to be the location where Prophet Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, Balıklı Göl is known for its sacred fish and historic sites surrounding it. We also visit Aynzeliha Lake, said to be formed from the tears of Zeliha, the daughter of Nimrod. After acquiring more information about these sites, we take a photo break before we have free time for local shopping. Afterward, we head to our hotel.

Day 7
- Harran – Harran University – Conical Dome Houses - Hz. Eyüp Prophet’s Patience Tomb – Halfeti – Boat Tour – Rum Castle – Sunken Minaret – Adana - Stone Bridge - Sabancı Mosque
- On the 7th day of the GAP Tour with Dgn Travel, we have breakfast at the hotel, and then set off for Harran, which means "the intersection of roads." Harran is a place under protection due to its unique conical dome houses found only in three regions worldwide. Known for being home to the first Islamic university, Harran boasts a history of 5,000 years, where we will see Harran University (Ulu Mosque), Harran Mound, castle, caravans, and traditional domed Harran houses, where we can visit one of them. Visitors can dress in traditional attire for photo opportunities. After the Harran tour, we visit the Tomb of Eyüp Prophet, known for his patience, which features a cave where he is believed to have suffered. There, we will see the cave, the water well believed to have healed him throughout his illness, and the patience stone where Eyüp leaned. After visiting, we head to Halfeti, one of Turkey's "Cittaslow" towns.
- Since part of Halfeti was submerged after the Birecik Dam was built, guests interested may join the options for the Halfeti Boat Tour (Extra). During the boat ride, we will view the sites submerged during the dam's construction, including the Maiden's Cave, Rumkale, and the mosque and minaret of Bilesur Savaşan village. After our boat tour, we take a short break in Halfeti before heading to Adana.
- In Adana, we will see the panoramic view of the historical Stone Bridge over the Seyhan River and the Sabancı Mosque, one of the most significant mosques in the region. After dinner, we conclude our GAP tour with Dgn Travel and set off on our return journey.

Day 8
- Ankara - Istanbul
- Valued guests, during the late hours of the night, we arrive in Ankara, say goodbye to guests departing from Ankara, and continue our journey to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we drop you off at the points where we picked you up in the morning and bid farewell to you, hoping to meet again in another Dgn Travel organization.
