My expectation was a peaceful trip with a beautiful view, but the reality, especially in the Gokova and Azmak River parts, exceeded that. Since it was autumn, the weather was neither oppressive nor too cold; we were able to comfortably sit on the deck during the boat tour by putting on light jackets. Seeing the clarity of the water in Azmak River, clearly observing the stones and fish at the bottom, and slowly moving through the reeds along the shore was truly impressive. While walking down to the sea from the hotel, we took short breaks along the way to watch the orange-purple shadows left by the sun as it sank behind the mountains; during those moments, we could only hear the sound of the waves and the wind. The hotel’s dinner buffet was adequate, particularly the fresh olive oils; during breakfast, we had to wait a bit for tea due to the crowd. The transportation vehicle was comfortable; watching the winding coastal road with the forest on one side and the sea on the other made the journey enjoyable rather than exhausting. The guide provided short information about the names of the coves we passed and pointed out silhouettes on the opposite shore, allowing us to learn what we were looking at rather than just admiring the scenery. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour, especially for those seeking an autumn getaway focused on nature and scenery.

Important Notes
• The tour duration is 2 nights and 3 days including the day of departure and return, with 2 nights of hotel accommodation. The journey lasts for 1 night.
• In our tour, guiding, transportation, accommodation, and sightseeing are bundled together and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guiding, sightseeing rights, etc. cannot be refunded.
• Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child accompanying two adults. Children aged 0-6 may not be provided with separate beds during hotel accommodation.
• In hotel accommodations, the third guest usually stays in an extra bed in triple rooms.
• The hotels indicated in the program are Dgn Travel's preferred accommodation facilities. Depending on the density in the region and hotels, changes can be made as long as hotel standards remain the same. Hotel names will be communicated 48 hours before departure if requested, subject to availability.
• Rooms at the hotels are determined by the hotel. Selections between rooms cannot be made.
• Our rest stops may change in position and service standards in case of density, renovations, etc., but will remain at the same standards.
• In the timing of the program (during the day or between days), in cases such as weather conditions, road conditions, or crowding at visited places, the guide may make changes if deemed necessary.

• Our tours operate on a gradual pricing system. Tour prices can increase gradually as the number of bookings in the package increases and the date approaches. Dgn Travel reserves the right to increase prices. In this case, prices cannot be fixed without receiving an advance payment.
• During the reservation, we cannot guarantee specific seat numbers. There is no guarantee for notes entered into the reservation. Special seat selection such as front or back is not available.
• The seating arrangement in the vehicle is organized by Dgn Travel Operations based on the booking order. In cases of disputes about seat placement, refunds are not possible. All seats in our vehicles are of the same standard.
• Extra tours such as night tours included in the program occur based on the number of participants and available staff. The extra tours will be conducted even if not all guests participate. Guests not joining extra tours will be directed by our guide to resting areas or city centers. Guests not participating in extra tours acknowledge their participation by agreeing to wait at the rest stop.
• If an extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest does not have any right to claim. Dgn Travel has no responsibility in this regard.
• Prices for extra tours may vary depending on the season. In such cases, the relevant extra tour price is valid based on the date of departure, not the date the guest purchased the tour. The guest accepts this by purchasing the tour.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any material damages caused by the guest in services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, food and beverage areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to claim damages caused by guests.
• In cases where children under the age of 18, who are not considered adults, do not travel with one or both parents, a consent form must be kept with the individuals during the trip.
• Guests participating in the tour are required to carry relevant reports regarding health issues, pregnancy, or medications they use regularly.
• Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc., at the departure times set for points.
• The hours of arrival at the end of the tour are estimations, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays arising from compelling reasons.
• After the tour ends, guests will be dropped off at the opposite direction of the stops we collected them from. Please do not insist on getting off at a different point with vehicle personnel.
• According to traffic law, all guests in the vehicle must wear seat belts throughout their journey, and Dgn Travel is not responsible in case of any incidents otherwise.
• All personal belongings in the vehicle are the responsibility of the guest at rest stops and similar places.
• The first day's sightseeing begins before checking into the hotel, so please prepare your necessary belongings separately.
• Since it may not always be possible to find ATMs, exchange offices, etc., during the tour due to program intensity, it is advisable to be prepared.
• The program will involve traveling long distances. The necessary information will be provided by the tour guide in the vehicle.
• Lunches consist of region-specific economical menus. For lunch and dinner, tables separated into groups may be used depending on the crowding of the area.
• The starting and ending route of our tours is determined based on the density in the region. Guests can learn about the confirmed route starting and ending before the tour begins if they wish, up to 2 days in advance.
• If the tour does not reach sufficient numbers, the agency is obligated to inform the guest, allowing the guest to decide whether to postpone the tour to the next date or cancel it. Alternatively, ticketing may be done for the nearest departure point to allow the guest to participate. In such cases, the agency is required to inform the guest three (3) days in advance via phone, SMS, or email. The guest's right to claim does not arise in such a case.
• Guests may cancel and change their bookings without stating a reason up until 30 days before the service start date and will be refunded the amount paid. For cancellations and changes made between 29 to 15 days before the tour date, 30% of the reservation fee will be deducted; for 15-7 days, 50% will be deducted; for 7 days or less, 100% of the reservation fee will be deducted.
• Guests who purchase the Cancellation, Refund and Insurance Package can cancel their purchased package tour without stating a reason until 72 hours before the tour start date. Upon cancellation, the entire fee paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions, according to the method of payment. The Cancellation, Refund, and Insurance Package does not cover flight tickets.
• Museum cards and entrance fees for museums are not included in the tour fee. All museum entry fees will be paid by guests.
CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND INSURANCE PACKAGE
The Cancellation, Refund, and Insurance Package allows the guest to cancel or change their purchased package tour without stating any reason up to 72 hours before the tour start date. After cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded in full, without any deductions, according to the method of payment. The Cancellation, Refund, and Insurance Package does not cover flights for tours including flights. Guests wishing to purchase this package can do so as an addition to their reservations during the booking (1500 TL).
COMPULSORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NO. 1618
Compulsory Travel Insurance No. 1618 covers the agency's bankruptcy or any reason for failure to provide package tour services. It is included in the tour cost. It does not cover health insurance and does not cover treatment expenses. Private health insurance is the guest's own expense.

- After our night journey, we arrive in Akyaka, known for its award-winning architecture, after crossing the Sakar Pass and enjoying our breakfast provided by Dgn Travel for the Marmaris Datça Gökova Tour. We take a short walk in Akyaka and board our boat for a full-day Gökova Boat Tour. During our boat tour, we spend enjoyable times with swimming breaks in the beautiful bays and waters of the Gökova Gulf, known as the spawning ground for large fish like Tuna and Mackerel, where mythological stories have been written and wars fought. The swimming stops include Zeytinli Bay, İncekum, and Lacivert Bay. After our swimming breaks in these bays, we head to Sedir Island and, of course, we take a swimming break at Cleopatra Beach, which is believed to have been formed by the sands that Roman Commander Marcus Antonius brought from Egypt for Queen Cleopatra. After this magnificent boat tour, we return to Akyaka and head to Azmak Stream. - On the 3rd day of our Marmaris Datça Gökova Tour with Dgn Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we give a full day of free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tours they prefer.
- Full-Day Lunch Included Jeep Safari Tour (Extra): After preparing for the jeep safari, we gather in teams and board our jeeps in front of our hotel. In this adrenaline-filled activity that will last all day, we head towards our Off-Road course through the unique forests of Datça. After receiving our necessary equipment (water guns), we start our fun, wet adventure. After approximately 45 minutes of water battles in the park, we reach our first break point while passing through valleys with magnificent natural scenery. Then we arrive at Kızkumu Beach, where you will find a unique experience of swimming and walking in the sea. Afterward, we have our lunch. We head to Turgut Village to see Turgut Waterfall, which is a natural waterfall cascading from about 10 meters, leaving visitors in awe. After refreshing in its cold waters and taking some photos, we board our jeeps and return to our hotel.
- Full Day Lunch Included İçmeler Boat Tour (Extra): Our entertaining tour begins with our boat departing from İçmeler harbor, where we will see the unique bays of Marmaris, some of which we will swim in. During this tour, where we can see every shade of blue and enjoy the sun, we will have swimming breaks in beautiful bays like Kızılkum, Tersane Bay, and Baklabükü, and you will hardly realize how the day passed filled with fun and lunch. As our boat approaches the shore in the late afternoon, you will wish to turn back time. We disembark from our boat and transfer back to our hotel.
- Full Day Dalyan Iztuzu Beach Mud Bath Boat Tour (Extra): We start our journey to Dalyan by boarding our boat from the inner harbor. During the trip, we will have a swimming break at Dolphin Island. We reach İztuzu Beach, where we will see the world-famous Caretta Caretta sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the Anatolian shores of the Atlantic Ocean. After our swimming break here, we transfer to smaller boats for a scenic journey through the reeds to see the Kaunos Rock Tombs and reach the Dalyan mud bath area. After the mud bath, we return to our main boat with a tour of Dalyan Canal. We enjoy a pleasant boat tour back to Marmaris and then return to our hotel.

Datça, which is a heavenly place with its crystal clear air and over 50 turquoise bays, is where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean. Old Datça enchants visitors with its beautifully restored two-story stone houses adorned with bougainvillea lining its narrow streets. The Datça Peninsula has hosted numerous civilizations since the 2nd millennium BC, offering its rich cultural heritage generously to its visitors. During our stroll in the streets of Old Datça, we visit the Can Yücel House and his Grave and take a short break at the village café. We then proceed to New Datça. We reach the seaport area and spend some free time at Kumluk Beach. You can assess your free time by swimming, exploring, or shopping. After our free time, we start our return journey. 5 CommentsThe most memorable moment for me was on the Gökova boat tour, as the sun slowly descended behind the mountains and the color of the sea changed from deep blue to turquoise. Even though it was spring, the weather was warm and the breeze was gentle; just putting on a light cardigan was enough. While gliding through the Azmak River, being able to see the fish in the crystal-clear water and the scent of flowers coming from the gardens of the houses on the shore really brought a sense of peace. Staying at the hotel for two nights was comfortable, and the dinners were filling, but the hot options at the open buffet breakfast were a bit limited. Nevertheless, leaving Kocaeli on a single bus and seeing such different scenery, while looking out the window on the way back, makes one think deeply.
The expectation was more along the lines of a classic bus tour, but honestly, it turned out to be much more enjoyable thanks to the vibe of the group. I went with my family elders, and as everyone settled in the bus, they made space for each other, and amidst scarves and coats, a friendly atmosphere formed even in the winter cold. Especially on the Gökova boat tour, the couple sitting next to us kept taking photos of my parents and sending them, acting like we were related. While everyone quietly enjoyed the view on the Azmak River in the boat, the guide made small jokes from time to time to lighten the mood. In the evenings during the hotel’s buffet dinner, we waited in line a bit, but even in the queue, we chatted and joked, and we didn't realize how time passed. Although the journey was long, the energy of the crowd, the snacks shared on the bus, and the conversation made the tour quite enjoyable for us.
Wow. We went with a small group of friends, and we were looking for a view-focused trip, and it turned out to be just that. Especially during the Gökova boat tour, while watching the colorful tones of the bays with the sun right above us, the wind was hitting my face; I couldn’t put my camera down. It was a nice detail to clearly see the stones at the bottom of the water while on the boat in the Azmak River. The hotel’s open buffet breakfast was quite adequate, and there were plenty of options for dinner as well. The only minor issue was that the bus felt a bit crowded and hot on the way back, but the views were so beautiful that we didn’t mind too much as we chatted among ourselves.
Our expectations were high, and they were largely met. Especially the photos we took during the Gökova boat tour near sunset, with a light breeze, were fantastic. We only had to wait in a short line for the Azmak River boat, but other than that, the organization was orderly despite the summer heat.
