Important Notes
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. In case sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, DGN TRAVEL will notify you of the final cancellation at least 21 days before the tour departure. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you via DGN TRAVEL.
- In cases where only category information is provided without specifying hotel names and/or where options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be communicated by DGN TRAVEL 48 hours prior to the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used beyond the specified distances or in different cities. In such cases, DGN TRAVEL will inform you 48 hours before the tour departure.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are conducted as maximum 2-3 hour tours that are organized for the general introduction of cities and only include panoramic narration from within the vehicle without entrance to museums or archaeological sites. DGN TRAVEL is not responsible for the inability to carry out these tours if they are not allowed to be visited or entered by local authorities or if the tours cannot be conducted due to closed roads or weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where vehicle access is not allowed.
- Triple rooms can be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are made up of folding or coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the potential discomfort and bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only for one child staying with two adults who meet the age group. No bed guarantee is provided for children aged 0-2 in hotels.
- Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in line with the breakfast culture of the country and are generally served as a limited menu called continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.
- Since the tour flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the current flight details with DGN TRAVEL. Up-to-date times will be communicated to you by DGN TRAVEL with tour information.
- It is necessary to confirm the tour flight times before taking domestic flights. If a guest has obtained their domestic connecting flight independently from a different provider, they cannot claim any refund from DGN TRAVEL in case of cancellation of the trip by DGN TRAVEL or if there is a time change. The guest accepts in advance any material or moral losses that may occur due to the trip being canceled or changed. DGN TRAVEL cannot be held responsible for this situation.
- According to airline rules; if the outbound flight purchased as a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
- Guests who are included in the tour without flights are required to be present at the tour starting point using their own means and without any delay. Otherwise, they will have to provide all their transfers on their own.
- DGN TRAVEL is not responsible for guests who are not ready at the designated airport during the times notified in accordance with airline rules, do not complete the check-in and boarding procedures on time, or those who complete check-in and boarding on time but cannot board the plane. All costs related to obtaining new round-trip plane tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss their flight are their own responsibility.
- Guests participating in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identity cards, and DGN TRAVEL is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items. There is no obligation to deliver forgotten items to the country or individual, and the costs incurred during the delivery of the items will be borne by the owner.
- In cases of illness, loss or theft, since the integrity and continuation of the group is essential, the guide may not accompany guests individually in such negative circumstances.
- When purchasing the tour, it is mandatory to correctly provide the names, birth dates, and passport numbers as they appear on the passport. Plane tickets are issued based on this information. Penalty charges for cancellation and changes arising from incorrect information will be collected from you.
- In some airlines, meals and online check-in services may be subject to additional charges.
- During the tour, seat numbers are not guaranteed on the bus.
- During our tours, the times indicated by our guide to the guests are the times of departure, which means the time the vehicle's wheels start turning. Our guide, who is responsible for ensuring that all guests are treated equally, will not wait and will move the vehicle at the meeting times. In a possible situation, the late guests must make their own way to the next stop.
- Optional tours are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, the trips may not be conducted, or extra tour prices, content, and transport vehicles may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and hours of the tours may change according to whether museums and archaeological sites are open or closed, and the guide may change them according to weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during the extra tours.
- In our classic packages where extra tours are not included, participation in optional tours is at the discretion of the participant and is not mandatory. Passengers who do not want to join the extra tours are deemed to have accepted to wait at a convenient rest facility along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a rest facility along the road before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the point they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
- In programs where extra tours are included, payments for museum & archaeological site entrance fees must be made to DGN TRAVEL during the reservation or to the guide during the tour.
- The participant accepts in advance that they will pay the amounts previously announced for local guide fees, museum & archaeological site entrance fees, city taxes, and any audio system if applicable for the tours organized in the program, and acknowledges that they have been fully and completely informed about this matter.
- DGN Travel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the existing trip and flight. DGN Travel is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
VISA
- There is a visa requirement for Turkish citizens. For visa applications, it is necessary to apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel completion and with the documents listed in the "Documents Required for Visa" list from DGN TRAVEL.
- The visa must be obtained from the country where the first entry is made or from the country where the most accommodation will be spent.
- Green passport holders do not have a visa requirement, and a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel completion is sufficient.
- The visa information stated in the program applies to Turkish citizens. Guests holding passports other than the Republic of Turkey should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
- Having a visa does not guarantee entry into the country, as the passport police have the authority to deny entry. DGN Travel is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger.
- To avoid encountering issues at the customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports; it is necessary to renew the obtained passports, and if the country applied for a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be on the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
- Guests under 18 years of age traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that customs officers may request a document showing the common consent of both parents when entering or exiting the country; therefore, we advise guests under 18 and their parents to be sensitive to this issue.
