Day 1 ISTANBUL – BERLIN - POZNAN
We meet our valued guests at 09:30 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Berlin at 12:20 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1725. After arrival at 14:10 local time, we depart for Poznan with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. After arrival in Poznan, we check in to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 POZNAN – WARSAW | Torun
After breakfast, we start our Poznan city tour. During our city tour, we will see the Market Square, the City Hall, which best reflects the effects of the Renaissance on the country, St. Maria Magdelana Collegiate Church, one of the most beautiful Baroque structures in the country, and Freedom Square. After the tour, we depart for Warsaw. Guests who wish may join the extra Torun tour to be arranged en route. Torun contains monumental brick-built churches, the historic town hall, and city walls, reflecting Medieval Gothic architecture. Torun, the city where Mikaloj Kopernik was born and raised, proving that the world is not at the center of the universe, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After visiting the old town center, City Hall, and Copernicus’ house, we continue to Warsaw. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 WARSAW – KRAKOW | Czestochowa
After breakfast, a panoramic Warsaw city tour will be arranged. Among the places to be seen are the Royal Palace, the statue of III. Zygmunt Waza column, Royal Square, Bell Square, Barbakan, the monumental gate to the city, the Mermaid Sirena monument, and Madam Curie’s house. After our tour, guests who wish may join the extra Czestochowa tour to be arranged en route. Known as Poland’s open-air museum, Czestochowa is a world-famous city that houses the Pauline Monastery of Jasna Gora, home to the Black Madonna painting and the shrine of the Virgin Mary. After seeing this holy city, which is visited by approximately 5 million people each year, we head to Krakow.
Day 4 KRAKOW | Wieliczka Salt Mine
After breakfast, our panoramic Krakow city tour begins. In this city, where Pope John Paul II was elected pope while he was archbishop, we will first see the historic city center, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this square, one of Europe’s largest, surrounded by countless historic buildings, you will feel as if you are wandering through medieval Europe. Then we will see Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral, where Pope John Paul II gave his first sermon as a priest. Other places to be seen include the Market Square, the Cloth Hall-Indoor Market Sukiennice, the Basilica of the Virgin Mary, Florianska Street, Barbakan, and the Slowacki Theater. After the city tour, guests who wish may join the Wieliczka Salt Mine tour, organized extra by our guide. Used as a rock salt mine in the 13th century and later transformed into an underground city with artistic works made from salt, the Wieliczka Salt Mine is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Guests who want to spend the evening in an entertaining way can spend it at the extra Polish Night tour with dinner, in a local restaurant where local flavors can be tasted accompanied by live music. Day 5 KRAKOW – WROCLAW | Auschwitz
After breakfast, we set off for Wroclaw. Guests who wish may join the Auschwitz Nazi Camp tour to be organized by our guide en route as an extra. We visit the Auschwitz – Birkenau Nazi camp, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where approximately 1.5 million Jews were systematically tortured and murdered during the Second World War. After our tour, arrival in Wroclaw and Wroclaw city tour. In our city tour, we will see the Market Square in the historic center and the City Hall, which began construction in the 13th century and is still used today for social and cultural events. Then we will see Ostrow Tumski, the “Cathedral Island,” the oldest part of the city, whose history goes back to the 9th century. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 6 WROCLAW – BERLIN | Dresden
After breakfast, we depart for Berlin. Guests who wish may join the Dresden tour to be organized by our guide en route as an extra. Following our arrival in Dresden, our city tour begins. Places to be seen include the Semper Opera House, Theater Square, Church of Our Lady, Martin Luther Square, and Prague Street. After seeing Dresden, we head to Berlin. Arrival in Berlin and overnight at our hotel.
Day 7 BERLIN | Potsdam
After breakfast, Berlin city tour. In our panoramic Berlin city tour, places to be seen include Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm (TV Tower), Rotes Rathaus (Berlin City Hall), Nikolai Square, Berlin Cathedral, Schlossplatz and Unter den Linden Boulevard, Friedrichstraße and Gendarmenmarkt with its two famous cathedrals, remnants of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Kurfürstendamm Boulevard. Guests who wish may join the Potsdam tour to be organized by our guide as an extra. In Potsdam, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, places to be seen include Sanssouci Palace, the Obelisk, Brandenburg Gate, Nikolai Church, Historical Mill Ende, Russian Colony Aexandrowka, French Church, and St. Peter und Paul Church. After the tour, we head to our hotel and overnight at our hotel.
Day 8 BERLIN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we complete the check-out procedures at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to Berlin airport. After ticket and baggage procedures, departure for Istanbul at 15:10 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1726. Arrival in Istanbul at 19:10 local time and the end of the tour.
