Its city squares, cathedral, and waterfront offer visitors a compact and easy-to-reach area for exploration. Lake Como is one of Italy’s best-known lakes, and the surrounding hills, lakeside settlements, and regular transport links complement the region’s natural appearance. The lakeside area is a region visited regularly throughout the year, with a balanced appearance between city and nature. On our Como & Lake Como excursion, we will first reach Como city center and observe the cathedral area, squares, and shoreline from the outside. Afterwards, we offer free time on the shores of Lake Como. During this free time, we can walk around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). In this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival and boasting a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches, we will first see the old town, the city’s first settlement, during our city tour in Cannes. As we walk through the narrow, winding, pedestrian streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, which stretches along the Cannes coast and hosts many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice after free time. In our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse are among the places to be seen. Our visit point on this tour will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, with its museums, galleries, Gothic-style architectural works, and walls rising around its cobbled, narrow, labyrinthine streets, enchanting its visitors. On our excursion in Girona, we will see and photograph the colorful houses lined up along the Onyar River, which divides the city in two, and we will walk along Libertat Street, which is closed to traffic and whose exits open into labyrinth-like narrow streets in the walled old town square. In the city where Christians, Catalan Jews, and Muslims lived together throughout history, we will complete our tour by seeing Girona Cathedral panoramically and proceed to our next stop, the Dali Museum in Figueres.
