Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport processing, we depart for Milan at 08:15 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. Arriving at 09:05 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle awaiting us at the airport. Milan, known as the center of art, fashion, automotive, and entertainment, is located within the borders of the Lombardy Region in northern Italy. While strolling through the streets of Milan, you can experience a lifestyle that breathes both history and modernity. Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle), Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (one of the oldest shopping malls in the world), Duomo Cathedral, and La Scala (one of the world's largest theaters) are among the places to be seen during the tour. After breakfast at the hotel, we move towards Marseille. Our first stop will be Aix-en-Provence, located along our route. Founded by the Romans in 123 BC, this city joined France in 1487 and became the capital of the Provence region. In Aix-en-Provence, where the Mediterranean climate prevails, it is possible to see sunshine for an average of 300 days a year. This elegant city, which inspired paintings by Cézanne and Picasso, will have places like the Four Dolphins Fountain, the Priests Fountain, Albertas and Cardeurs Squares, Saint Sauveur Cathedral, and Cours Mirabeau Boulevard to see. The importance of this place comes from the world-renowned surrealist artist Salvador Dalí, who was born here in 1904. In order to leave a permanent legacy in this city of his birth, Dalí established a museum where he could exhibit his works. Today, known as the Dalí Theatre-Museum, this structure hosts both the artist’s greatest work and the largest collection of his works. As part of our tour, we will proceed to the Gothic Quarter, which dates back over 2000 years. While walking along La Rambla Street, we will see La Boqueria (Covered Market) from the 19th century, and then we will dive into narrow streets to visit the remains of the Agustus Temple from the Roman period, the Jewish Quarter, the Barcelona Barons Palace, the Aragon Royal Archives Building, the Gothic Cathedral, the Bisbe Bridge, and the Sant Jaume Square. Afterward, we will go to the El Born Quarter and see the streets with significant importance in Catalan history that witnessed the Catalan uprisings of the 18th century, along with the Catalan Culture Center revealed by archaeological excavations; we will also visit the “People's Cathedral” known as Santa Maria del Mar, which has been featured in films.
