2. DAY: LONDON (GRAND LONDON CITY TOUR)
After breakfast, for those who wish, we set out for the full-day optional Grand London Tour (140 £).
We begin our full and enriching tour to discover both the historical and modern sides of London. Our first stop is the City of London, known as the city’s financial center. With a deep-rooted history dating back to Roman times, this area has preserved its historical texture despite being surrounded by skyscrapers today.
We start our walking tour with St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest and most important religious buildings. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this impressive cathedral is one of the most iconic elements of London’s skyline, especially with its massive dome.
We then continue our tour by viewing the Tower of London panoramically, one of London’s landmarks. Built in the 11th century, this structure was used throughout history as a palace, prison, and treasury. Right next to it, we take a photo break at Tower Bridge, which has become one of the symbols of modern London.
We complete the first half of the day with a lunch break at Borough Market, one of the most popular street food stops in London, as we continue our City tour.
After finishing our City of London tour, we move on to the City of Westminster, the political and royal center of London. Our first stop here is Buckingham Palace, one of the most important symbols of the British monarchy.
We then continue to see the Palace of Westminster and, right next to it, Big Ben, the political heart of England.
During our walking tour, we also view Westminster Abbey panoramically. This historic building, where royal coronation ceremonies take place, is one of the most significant sites in English history.
In the final part of our tour, we enjoy some free time in Covent Garden, one of London’s liveliest squares. Guests may shop in the surrounding stores, spend time in cafés, or simply enjoy the city atmosphere.
At the designated time, we meet again and return to our hotel. End of tour.
3. DAY: OXFORD & BICESTER VILLAGE OUTLET TOUR
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for the full-day optional Oxford & Bicester Village Tour (140 £). Our first stop is Oxford, one of England’s most prestigious academic cities.
During the walking tour with our guide, we see the city’s landmark buildings from the outside, including Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, one of the world’s oldest libraries, St Mary the Virgin Church, and Christ Church College, which also served as a filming location for Harry Potter. With pleasant walks in this historic atmosphere, we enjoy the enchanting ambiance of Oxford. After the guide’s explanations, you will have a short free time to explore the city individually.
After our Oxford visit, we travel approximately 30 minutes to Bicester Village Outlet, one of England’s most popular shopping destinations. Here, guests have the opportunity to shop and spend time in boutiques offering world-famous luxury brands at outlet prices. On this special day, we head to Windsor, one of England’s most elegant and historic towns, away from central London.
After a short journey, we arrive in Windsor and begin our walking tour. Situated on the banks of the River Thames, this charming town is one of England’s most impressive places, thanks to its natural beauty and historical character.
