We gather at Ercan Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before our flight, and after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK0965 at 05:05. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at 06:50 local time, and then continue with Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1981 departing at 07:55 for London. Upon arrival at London Gatwick Airport at 09:55 local time, we meet our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport and depart for Cambridge, one of England’s most established university cities. Founded in the 13th century, the city stands out as one of the important centers in world academic history with the University of Cambridge, its historic colleges, orderly street layout, and peaceful atmosphere. During our Cambridge city tour, we will see King’s College Chapel, one of the most impressive examples of Gothic architecture, from a panoramic perspective. We will then also view university buildings such as Trinity College, St John’s College, and Clare College panoramically. Walking routes along the River Cam and the bridges that have become symbols of the city are also among the places to be seen during our panoramic city tour. After completing our tour with a sightseeing walk through the historic streets in the city center, where we can closely feel the academic and cultural character of the region, we head to our hotel in the York region for accommodation. YORK – (Edinburgh Tour) – GLASGOW
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to organize our York city tour. York, inhabited since Roman times, is notable for its medieval walls and narrow stone streets. During our city tour, York Minster Cathedral, the historic city center, and the city walls will be among the places seen panoramically. After the photo stop and free time for sightseeing, we continue on to Glasgow. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Edinburgh Tour (80 GBP). The capital of Scotland, Edinburgh stands out with its unique identity, combining historic and modern structures. In the continuation of our tour, we begin by walking along the Royal Mile in the old town, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Edinburgh Castle, located in a commanding position over the city, will also be seen panoramically. In addition, St. Giles’ Cathedral, Princes Street, and the Holyrood Palace area are among the places to be seen panoramically. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to organize our Glasgow city tour. During our city tour in Glasgow, George Square, considered the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, university buildings notable for their historic character, and the city silhouette along the River Clyde will be among the places seen panoramically. Continuing our tour, we will observe Glasgow’s development from past to present by passing through streets and shopping districts that reflect the city’s modern face. After a short photo stop and free time, we complete our Glasgow city tour and set off for Liverpool. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Windermere Lake and Boat Tour (65 GBP). On this tour, we reach the Lake District National Park, one of England’s most impressive natural beauties. This unique region, surrounded by hills, valleys, and lakes in every shade of green, stands out as one of the country’s most important natural areas. During our boat tour on Windermere, the largest lake in the region, we will have the opportunity to discover the natural scenery surrounding it from different angles. While traveling over the lake’s surface, we will be able to closely feel the peaceful atmosphere and nature-filled character of the area. After a short free time at the end of the boat tour, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Liverpool. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Liverpool region, we provide free time for room allocation. After this free time, we depart to organize our panoramic Liverpool city tour and sightseeing. Liverpool, one of England’s important port cities and a city that developed with the Industrial Revolution, has become one of the country’s most remarkable centers thanks to its maritime trade and cultural structure. Chester, one of England’s best-preserved historic cities, stands out with its origins dating back to Roman times, medieval architectural structures, and unique city layout. During our city tour in Chester, Eastgate Clock, one of the city’s symbols, and the two-story historic shopping structures known as Chester Rows will be among the main places seen panoramically. As we move along the narrow streets and get to know the city’s distinctive character up close, the historic walls surrounding the city and Chester Cathedral will also be included on our list of places to see. Following the panoramic tour, after a short free time, we visit Cheshire Designer Outlet, one of England’s largest outlet centers. LONDON – (London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour)
After breakfast, a full day of free time will be provided, during which our guests who wish may join the optional London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour (145 GBP). In our tour, we first arrive at Greenwich, one of London’s most characteristic districts. In this tour, where we will see the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park and the point through which the Prime Meridian passes, we will also panoramically see the historical structures of the area, the park, and views of the River Thames. We then head to begin our boat tour on the Thames River. During this pleasant journey from Greenwich to Westminster, we will have the chance to see London’s iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, and The Shard from the river. Upon arrival in the Westminster area, we begin our walking tour. After visiting Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye area, we proceed via Parliament Square toward Downing Street. Then Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and the important points of the city center are on our walking route. Continuing our tour, we arrive at the British Museum, considered one of the world’s most important museums. After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we provide free time until our evening return flight to Cyprus. During this free time, our guests who wish may join the optional Oxford and Bicester Village Outlet Tour (65 GBP). In this tour, we first head to Oxford, home to one of the world’s oldest universities. In the city, which has been the center of academic life for centuries, we tour the city center amid university colleges, historic courtyards, and libraries. During our city tour, Radcliffe Camera, the Bodleian Library, and university buildings, which are among the city’s symbols, will be seen panoramically. The college buildings that inspired the Harry Potter film series and where some scenes were filmed are also among the notable points during our tour. After a short walk through the historic streets and free time for photos, our next destination is Bicester Village, one of England’s most famous outlet shopping centers. At Bicester Village, we provide free time so you can shop at stores of world-famous brands. In this open-air shopping center, you can enjoy a pleasant shopping experience with a wide range of brands and the advantage of affordable prices. During this full day of free time, our guests who wish may instead join the optional Warner Bros and Harry Potter Studios Tour (125 Euro). In this tour, we visit Warner Bros. Studios, where the Harry Potter film series was shot. In this unique experience, where film sets, costumes, and behind-the-scenes details are displayed, we have the opportunity to discover the magic world behind the scenes. During our visit, we see iconic set areas from the films such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Express. We also learn about how special effects are created, how sets are designed, and details about the filmmaking process. Continuing our tour, we have the opportunity to examine original costumes, accessories, and set designs displayed in the studio, experiencing the visual world of the Harry Potter universe more closely. After the free time provided, we complete our tour. At the end of the optional tour program you choose, we depart for London Heathrow Airport for our return flight to Cyprus. Upon arrival at the airport and completion of baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines direct scheduled flight TK1984 at 22:40.
