IZMIR – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – (Venice Masterpieces Tour) – VENICE
We arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport’s International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport procedures, then depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK3451 at 03:25 on a direct special service to Milan. Upon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport at 05:25 local time, we meet our private coach and depart for our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum, as well as the house of the world-famous Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the greatest love story known today. On our panoramic walking tour of Via Mazzini (the main square) and Piazza delle Erbe, surrounded by numerous shops, cafes, and stores, we will also see Verona Cathedral, after which we conclude our tour and continue to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces Tour (85 Euro – including vaporetto and city entrance fees). On our tour in Venice, we will see iconic landmarks such as St. Mark’s Square, built from stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul; St. Mark’s Basilica; the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. Then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. At the end of the tour, we continue to our hotel in the Venice region. VENICE – (Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch) – ROME
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch (65 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the birthplace of Pinocchio, we first view from the outside the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange-colored dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is its bronze doors, known as the “Gates of Paradise,” on which the stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran are depicted symbolically. We then see Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament, Piazza della Signoria, the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops. After the Florence Masterpieces Tour, we continue to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at our hotel in Rome, room check-in and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop is Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares, a breathtaking lake and valley view blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we continue our historical journey through Rome and its icons, the city known as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine. In Rome, the imperial city that has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the city’s symbol and an ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights during the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the imperial city; the Trevi Fountain, into which, according to legend, those who throw a coin are believed to return to Rome; the Spanish Steps, famous for street performers; Piazza Pietra; and Piazza del Popolo, all viewed panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in central Rome around the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Beginning with views of Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican City/San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square, where thousands of Catholics come for worship every year and where, on special occasions, the Pope greets the crowd from his residence, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the locals and feel like residents of the city, we see Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto area, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, all panoramically. After our walk through its narrow back streets, lined with small tables and resembling a labyrinth, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Naples Tour) – (Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi, or Pompeii Tour with Lunch) – ROME
After breakfast, during our full day at leisure, guests who wish may join the optional Naples Tour (40 Euro). Upon arrival in Naples, our tour will include Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the Naples tour, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join the optional Pompeii Tour with Lunch (80 Euro). Beginning with lunch at a local restaurant, our tour continues with a visit to Pompeii, located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city; it was unearthed in full vitality after extensive excavations by archaeologists in 1748. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Alternatively, guests who wish may join the optional Sorrento Tour, the Pearl of Amalfi (80 Euro). Sorrento, whose history dates back to prehistoric times, captivates visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style. It is famous for its small tourist boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur. After our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, we offer free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – (Pisa Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop is Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour through Campo Square and the historic narrow streets leading up to it, we continue to San Gimignano, our next stop. San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to the 14 architectural marvels that survived from the 76 towers once standing after wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour through San Gimignano’s narrow streets, each opening onto the town square and evoking the feeling of a journey back to the Middle Ages, and its squares from which the 14 magnificent towers can be seen panoramically, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Pisa Tour (50 Euro). After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on the Ligurian coast of Italy, known for its colorful houses, terraced hillsides running parallel to the coast, and seaside villages. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region offers easy transportation between villages via walking routes and train connections. In one of the five villages that give Cinque Terre its name, we will complete our sightseeing tour and then continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino, which has inspired songs with its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful homes, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views. MILAN – (Outlet Tour) – (Como Tour) – IZMIR
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to conduct our Milan city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right destination for shopping and dining experiences. During our tour, the La Scala opera house, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights. At the end of the tour, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join the optional Outlet Tour (35 Euro). In this tour, we will offer free time at an outlet center that hosts stylish stores of Italy’s most prestigious brands shaping world fashion, along with cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas. After this pleasant and affordable shopping time, we depart for Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Izmir. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). Como is a center located in the Lombardy region, distinguished by its historical structures and orderly urban layout. The city squares, cathedral, and waterfront offer visitors a compact and easy-to-explore area. Lake Como, one of Italy’s most famous lakes, is surrounded by hills, lakeside settlements, and regular transportation lines that complete the region’s natural scenery. The lake area is visited regularly throughout the year and presents a balanced view between city and nature. On our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first reach Como city center, where the cathedral area, squares, and waterfront will be viewed from the outside. Then free time will be given on the shores of Lake Como; during this time, visitors may stroll around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. After the free time, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Malpensa Airport.
