1st Day İzmir – Budapest – Bratislava – Vienna
Meeting at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, at the Sun Express Airlines counter in the international departures terminal, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Budapest at 06:30 on Sun Express Airlines flight XQ856. Upon arrival at 06:50 local time, we meet our vehicle and depart for Vienna. On the way, we join the magnificent Bratislava Tour. (Bratislava tour is included in the tour price.) In this tour of the capital of Slovakia, we will see Bratislava Castle, famous for its impressive architecture and panoramic views of Bratislava, the Old Town (Stare Mesto), the City Clock Tower bearing traces of the city’s history, St. Martin’s Cathedral built in Gothic style, and the statue Cumil, believed to bring good luck. After the tour, we continue to Vienna. The capital of Austria combines an elegant imperial heritage with modern cultural dynamism. The city is also known as the center of classical music. The works of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and Strauss have resonated here, and throughout history the city has elevated art and culture with its famous operas, magnificent palaces, and wide boulevards. During our city tour, we will see Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral), Kunsthistorisches Museum, one of the world’s best art collections, Staatsoper (Opera House), Karl Church built in Baroque style, and Maria Theresa Square. During the tour, we will see the impressive gardens of Schönbrunn Palace, the extraordinary Hundertwasser House and passage with its unique architecture, Hofburg Palace with its imperial splendor, and the historic Heroes’ Square. 2nd Day Vienna
After breakfast at the hotel, those who wish may join the Magnificent Austria’s Hidden Treasures and Lakes District (Hallstatt & St. Wolfgang) Tour (110 Euro). Our first stop is Hallstatt, a charming town in Upper Austria, located on the shores of Lake Hallstätter. Our next stop is St. Wolfgang, a quaint and historically rich town in the Salzkammergut region of Austria, located on the shore of Wolfgangsee Lake. With its medieval architecture, flower-adorned wooden houses, and narrow streets with lake views, it feels like time has stood still. The St. Wolfgang Church in the heart of the town draws attention with its Gothic and Baroque-style altars. According to legend, this church was built through the miracle of Saint Wolfgang in the 10th century. 4th Day Prague – Karlovy Vary – Prague
After breakfast at the hotel, those who wish may join the optional Prague Masterpieces and Karlovy Vary Tour (70 Euro). Founded in 1358 by King Charles IV, Karlovy Vary is a world-famous thermal health resort. During our free time, you may walk around this charming town and do some souvenir shopping. After the visit, we return to Prague. In our Prague Masterpieces tour, we will see the gardens of the Old Royal Palace, the Presidential Palace, and the Lobkowicz and Rosenberg palaces. Then we explore the Mala Strana district, which preserves Prague’s historical texture, and finish the tour with free time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 5th Day Prague – Dresden – Prague
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Terezin Camp – Museum Entrance Included (50 Euro) and Dresden Tour (80 Euro). Terezin is the largest Nazi camp in the Czech Republic. It was built in 1780 as a small fortress. During World War II, with the Germans’ entry into Czechoslovakia, this fortress was turned into a concentration camp. Jews, gypsies, and anyone opposing the Nazi system were held here under the name of a labor camp. After the tour, our first stop will be Dresden, located in the German state of Saxony and known for its rich cultural heritage and impressive architecture. The striking Baroque Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Brühl’s Terrace along the Elbe River, from which we can observe the city panoramically, and the Royal Palace are among the places we will see. 6th Day Prague – Budapest
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Budapest. Upon arrival, our panoramic city tour will include Heroes’ Square, Octagon Square, the Historic Ice Skating Rink, Vajdahunyad Castle, Andrássy Avenue, and the Opera House. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Budapest Masterpieces and Danube River Cruise (35 Euro). 7th Day Budapest
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Step by Step Budapest and Szentendre Tour (60 Euro). Our tour starts in the heart of Budapest. Our first stop is the Castle District, steeped in history. As we pass through the Lord’s Street, bearing traces of nobility and elegance, we feel the city’s past. Then the Fisherman’s Bastion, looking like it has come straight out of a postcard, welcomes us as one of the most romantic spots in the city. From here, the view of the Danube River and the Parliament building is breathtaking. We then continue our exploration with Vörösmarty Square, the Parliament, and Váci Utca, the city’s bustling shopping street, followed by free time. After the tour, we head to Szentendre. This charming town, where art, history, and tranquility blend together, with its narrow winding streets, stone houses, and colorful balconies, resembles a Mediterranean town. Szentendre, the gateway to the summer region known as the Danube Bend, is a getaway spot for Budapest locals and a source of inspiration for artists. It is a delight for shopping lovers, with shops selling handmade textiles, glass and porcelain ornaments, traditional Hungarian dolls, folkloric clothing, and wooden souvenirs.
