2nd Day Barcelona – Girona & Figueras (Dali Museum) – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Sparkling Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) tour. (70 Euro) Our first stop is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in the northeast of Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and city walls. On our tour here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Figueras. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something in this place where he was born and to exhibit his works. This museum now has the largest Dali collection and is considered Dali’s greatest masterpiece because every part of it was designed by Dali himself. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 3rd Day Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Gaudi’s Splendid Masterpiece Park Guell & Gothic Quarter tour. (60 Euro) Our first stop is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park, known as the fairy-tale park, creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and imaginative pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work of Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical fabric with its narrow, labyrinth-like streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the district are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Sparkling Sitges Tour (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, as well as for its art and cultural events, hosting many art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our visit with the magical steps of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and wander through its historic streets. This cathedral, dating back to the 17th century, rises on the ruins of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey will be through the historic streets of Sitges, where the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the finest examples of Modernism in the old town center, is a true paradise for collectors. Right across from it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. After he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played the biggest role in the town’s rise in popularity. In the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, a venue for horror and fantasy films that attracts thousands of people every year, is held, after seeing the colorful houses and charming bars, we will head toward the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals here. 4th Day Barcelona – Izmir
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 895 at 14:15. Arrival at 19:25 local time and end of the tour.
