At the end of the tour, we depart for Madrid. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Toledo Tour program (50 Euro). Upon arrival in Toledo, we organize our tour. Founded by the Jews in 590 BC and today a place where people belonging to the three major religions live together peacefully, Toledo, one of Spain’s most important cities in historical and touristic terms, is also known as the “city of knights.” The Tagus, the largest river in the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. Since it is one of the largest medieval cities in the world, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and protected. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. Toledo Cathedral, whose construction took approximately 270 years, formerly a mosque and now the world’s 3rd most important cathedral and Spain’s main cathedral, containing the world’s most expensive works of art, San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), workshops and shops where gold handcrafts are made, are among the places to be seen panoramically on our tour. After the tour, we continue our journey to Madrid. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Madrid region, room check-in and free time to rest.
MADRID – BARCELONA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to organize our Madrid city tour. Madrid, the capital of the Kingdom of Spain and also the third largest city in the European Union, is considered the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. During our city tour in Madrid, where monuments, statues, and natural beauty blend with modern architecture, Plaza Mayor, Paseo de la Castellana, the bullring, Gran Via, Plaza de España, the Royal Palace, and Puerta de Alcalá are among the places to be seen panoramically. After the city tour and the short free time provided, we begin our journey to Barcelona. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Barcelona region, room check-in and free time to rest.
BARCELONA – (Girona & Figueres & Dalí Museum Tour) – (Fiesta Barcelona Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Girona & Figueres & Dalí Museum Tour program (95 Euro). Our visit point on the tour will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, which fascinates its visitors with its museums, galleries, Gothic-style architectural works, and walls rising around narrow cobblestone labyrinth streets. During our tour in Girona, we will see and photograph the colorful houses lined along the Onyar River, which divides the city into two, and walk in Libertat Street, a traffic-free street in the old city square surrounded by walls, with every exit leading to narrow streets in a maze shape. In a city where Christians, Catalan Jews, and Muslims lived together throughout history, we complete our tour by seeing Girona Cathedral panoramically and proceed to our next visit point, the Dalí Museum in Figueres. After a short sightseeing tour in Figueres, home to the museum designed by Salvador Dalí from a theater building to house his works while he was still alive, we will visit the Dalí Museum (entrance fee included in the tour price) and, accompanied by our guide, embark on an art tour in the museum, which houses 4,000 of Dalí’s works. After our tour, during the free time provided in Barcelona city center, guests who wish may join our extra Fiesta Barcelona Tour program (55 Euro). On this tour, we visit Poble Espanyol, an open-air museum & festival village concept created for the 1929 World Fair, bringing together typical architectural examples, craft workshops, artworks, and traditional cultural elements from different regions of Spain. Open throughout the year and at all hours of the day, featuring various music, dance, street performances, and cultural activities, housing restaurants, and offering visitors a unique experience where they can see the characteristic elements of all Spain, Poble Espanyol, and the free time we will offer afterwards complete our tour, and we return to our hotel in the Barcelona region.
BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour) – OUTLET – IZMIR
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off to organize our outlet tour program. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Barcelona Icons Tour program (65 Euro). First, we go up to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city, and visit Park Güell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudí. “Entrance fee included” In the Guell Park, which was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1984 and takes its visitors to a fairy-tale land with its vivid colors and nature-inspired figures, we offer free time for photos and sightseeing. Then we will see Casa Milà, one of the most important works Gaudí added to the city’s architecture (Gaudí’s House), and complete our tour by walking around La Sagrada Familia. Specifically for our guests joining the Barcelona Icons Tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join our extra Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour program (45 Euro). After this tour, where Barcelona Cathedral, Paral-Lel and Gothic neighborhoods, El Born, the City Hall, Plaza Real, and the market-La Boqueria will be seen, and after the free time provided, we continue our journey to the outlet center. During our visit to the outlet center, home to stylish stores of many prestigious and famous brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we will provide free time for pleasant and affordable shopping. After this free time, we complete our tour and set off for Barcelona Airport for our return flight to Izmir. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport control procedures, we fly to Izmir at 22:35 with SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight number XQ895. Arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 02:45 Turkish time and the end of our tour.
