Our visit point on this tour will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, which enchants visitors with its museums, galleries, Gothic architectural works, and walls rising around its cobblestone narrow labyrinthine streets. On our excursion in Girona, we will see and photograph the colorful houses lined along the Onyar River, which divides the city in two, and we will take a walk along Libertat Street, which is closed to traffic and opens onto narrow streets in a maze-like fashion in the old town square surrounded by walls. In the city where Christians, Catalan Jews, and Muslims lived together throughout history, we will complete our tour with a panoramic view of Girona Cathedral and then head to our next visit point, the Dali Museum in Figueres. SEVILLE – CORDOBA – (Kurtuba Mosque & Cathedral Tour) – SEVILLE – (Flamenco Show)
After breakfast, we move to Cordoba. In our panoramic Cordoba city tour, we discover Cordoba, founded during the Roman Empire period and, in the 10th century, the largest city in Europe under the protection of the Islamic state. In our city tour in the city center, where we can still see Islamic influences and which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, the Alcazar De Los Reyes Cristianos, Royal Palace, and Roman Bridge, with its 1,000-year history, are among the panoramic sights. After our visit to Cordoba, during the free time we will offer, guests who wish may join our Kurtuba Mosque & Cathedral Tour (45 Euro) program. On our tour, we visit the Kurtuba Mosque & Cathedral “entrance fee included.” In terms of size, it is the 3rd largest mosque in Islamic history, and as one of the two greatest examples of Spain’s Moorish past, it is a major attraction on its own. The structure, which for centuries alternated between Islam and Christianity, is currently used as a Catholic church. At the end of the tour, we return to Seville and organize our city tour. Seville, the most populous and most developed city in Andalusia, owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period of rule by the Moors, North African Muslims in its history. We explore Seville amid beautiful and magnificent cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our tour, the Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed, the octagonal Torro del Oro (Golden Tower), which was originally established for defensive purposes but later also used as a prison, the Sevilla Cathedral, the Giralda Bell Tower, one of the world’s 3rd largest Gothic cathedrals and on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, and Maria Luisa Park are among the panoramic sights. After our tour, during the free time that will be offered in the city center, guests who wish may join the extra Flamenco Show (60 Euro) program. After the world-famous Flamenco performance, known as the cry of the lower class to the upper class and where dance comes to life, transfer to our hotel in the Seville region. Free time to rest.
SEVILLE – SINTRA – CABO DA ROCA – ESTORIL – CASCAIS – LISBON – (Lisbon Night Tour with Dinner) – (Fado Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set out for Lisbon and, upon arrival, we carry out our Atlantic Coasts Tour program consisting of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Estoril, and Sintra towns. Our first stop on the tour will be the town of Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses reminiscent of castles, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that led to the town’s inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra visit, during which we will travel through streets and avenues surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, called “the End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European Continent. After a short break where you can take photos of the ocean and the famous beaches frequented by surfers, we continue our tour with panoramic sightseeing in Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of the most famous resort areas known as Lisbon’s backyard, with its SPA and thermal hotels, parks and golf courses, and also famous for the casino sections in the first Bond novel, Casino Royale. At the end of the tour, we arrive in the center of Lisbon. During the free time offered here, guests who wish may join the extra Lisbon Night Tour with Dinner (55 Euro) program. On our tour, first we proceed along the Tagus River and panoramically follow the Cais do Sodré and Ribeira das Naus route. The illuminated waterfront road offers Lisbon’s modern face with a pleasant view in the evening hours. Then we will panoramically see the outer surroundings of the Alfama slopes, which are historical but not included in our daytime tour. The illuminated silhouette of the narrow streets allows us to observe the city’s traditional texture in the evening hours. Then we panoramically view the evening ambiance of Praça do Comércio from the outside. The square’s yellow arcades and its illuminated setting by the riverside create one of Lisbon’s most impressive evening views. After the night tour, we complete our tour with dinner at a local restaurant and offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Fado Show (45 Euro) program. On our tour, we join the Fado Show, where we will listen to Fado music, unique to Portugal, which emerged from the emotional and sorrowful laments of sailors’ wives and became world-famous. LISBON – (Lisbon Masterpieces Tour) – OBIDOS – PORTO
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set out for Obidos. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Lisbon Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro) program. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and also a city with 2 shores like Istanbul, is the 6th most visited city in Europe throughout the year. Governed throughout history under the rule of the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, Lisbon, with this history extending back to 1200 BC, hosts many historical works. During the tour we will carry out in Lisbon, the historical part of the city where Rossio Square and St. Georges Castle are located, and the Santa Justa Elevator are among the main sights. After the city tour, we offer free time in the city center. Continuing our city tour, Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the age of geographical discoveries and carrying symbolic importance for Portugal, will be seen and free time for a photo break will be given. Then Avenida de Liberdade, known as Lisbon’s Champs Elysees, famous for its cafes, quality shops, and restaurants, is among the places to see, and we will have the opportunity to discover the city of Lisbon from different angles. After the tour, we continue our journey to Obidos. In the medieval town of Obidos, surrounded by walls on a hill and with cobblestone streets that make visitors feel the architectural features of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Gothic periods, the Roman-origin Obidos Castle, Saint John Baptist Church, and Rua Direita, which attracts the most visitors as the town’s main street, are among the main sights. After the Obidos Tour, we head to Porto. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Porto region, room check-in and free time to rest.
PORTO – (Porto Masterpieces Tour) – İZMİR
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set out for Porto Airport for our return flight to İzmir. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Porto Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro) program. Porto is a historic city located in northern Portugal, on the banks of the Douro River. In our panoramic city tour, we will see the city’s UNESCO-protected historical texture and landmark structures. On our tour, we first proceed along Avenida dos Aliados. This avenue, one of Porto’s widest boulevards, is among the areas to be seen panoramically with its historic granite-stone buildings and views of the city hall. Afterwards, we will see São Bento Train Station from the outside. The blue-and-white azulejo tiles on the station’s interior walls present scenes from Portuguese history. On our route, Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto) will be seen panoramically from the outside. The cathedral area, located on one of the city’s highest points, is one of the places where a short break will be given to photograph Porto’s historic center. Then we proceed panoramically along the Ribeira District, which stands out with its narrow streets and traditional houses. After that, the UNESCO-listed Luís I Bridge will be seen panoramically. The bridge’s iron structure creates one of the city’s most recognizable silhouettes. From here, we reach the Clérigos Tower and Livraria Lello area; the tower will be seen panoramically from the outside and the exterior of Lello can be photographed. We complete the tour by seeing Bolhão Market and the surrounding commercial axis. This area, where local products are sold, is one of the places where we can observe Porto’s daily life. After a short free time to be given at the end of the Porto Masterpieces Tour, we continue our journey to the airport. After completing the ticket, baggage check-in, and passport control procedures upon arrival at the airport, we fly to İzmir at 17:35 on SunExpress Airlines’ direct and scheduled flight number XQ849. Arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 23:55 local time and the end of our tour.
