Following ticketing and baggage procedures at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, which you will complete 3 hours before departure, we fly to London on Turkish Airlines flight TK1981, a direct scheduled service, departing at 07:55. Upon arrival at London Gatwick Airport at 09:55 local time, we meet our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport and head to Cambridge, one of England’s oldest university cities. Founded in the 13th century, the city stands out as one of the important centers in world academic history with the University of Cambridge, its historic colleges, orderly street layout, and tranquil atmosphere. During our Cambridge city tour, we will see King’s College Chapel, one of the most impressive examples of Gothic architecture, from the outside on a panoramic basis. Then we will also see Trinity College, St John’s College, and Clare College panoramically. During our city tour in Glasgow, George Square, considered the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, university buildings notable for their historic character, and the city skyline along the River Clyde will be among the places seen panoramically. We will observe Glasgow’s development from past to present as we pass through streets and shopping areas reflecting the city’s modern face. After a short photo break and free time, we complete our Glasgow city tour and set off for Liverpool. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Windermere Lake and Boat Tour (65 GBP). LONDON – (London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour)
After breakfast, in the full day of free time provided, our guests who wish may join the extra London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour (145 GBP). In our tour, we first arrive at Greenwich, one of London’s most characteristic districts. During our visit, we see iconic set areas remembered from the films, such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Express. At the same time, we learn details about how special effects were created, how the sets were designed, and the film production process. During our tour, we also have the opportunity to examine original costumes, accessories, and set designs displayed in the studio, experiencing the visual world of the Harry Potter universe more closely. After the free time provided, we complete our tour. At the end of the chosen extra tour program, we proceed to London Heathrow Airport for our return flight to Istanbul.
