As we explore the Old Town during our Bremen tour, we feel as though we are in a fairy-tale land. New businesses and shops, the City Hall dating from the Renaissance period, the 800-year-old St. Peter’s Cathedral, and the historic Merchants’ House are among the places we can see in the Old Town. New Bremen, on the left bank of the Weser River, is known as the garden city of Europe. Charming and beautiful houses, three-lane boulevards, flower beds, and gardens are truly worth seeing! This is also where the Bremen Town Musicians statue is located. While taking souvenir photos, we continue our Bremen tour by seeing the 1,405-year-old Government House, the Roland Statue, built in 1537 as a symbol of freedom, Fall Tower, Böttcherstraße, and the Bremen Parliament, built in a modern style.
