Day 1 Istanbul - Yerevan

23:25 We begin our journey to the capital of Armenia, 'Yerevan, the 'Four Seasons are Beautiful', on flight PC 550 operated by Pegasus Airlines.

Day 2 Yerevan (Breakfast, Dinner)
02:30 Arrival in Yerevan. After necessary procedures, transfer to our hotel and check into rooms. Accommodation at our hotel.
Breakfast at our hotel. Due to your late arrival, you will have free time to relax.
In the afternoon, we start our Yerevan City Tour. Armenia, one of the oldest settlements in the South Caucasus, has hosted many civilizations throughout its history. With its warm springs, sunny summers, rainy autumns, and snowy winters, Armenia is beautiful in every season; it offers a unique experience with its rich historical heritage, spectacular natural wonders, deep cultural features, hospitable people, and exquisite cuisine. Yerevan is one of the cities where modernity and classicism, the old and the new blend beautifully. Our tour will take us to some of the city’s landmarks including the neo-classical Republic Square, the 19th-century National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the magnificent views of Mount Ararat, the modern art at the Cascade Complex, Cafesjian Art Centre and Sculpture Park, the Victory Park offering stunning vistas of the city including the Mother Armenia statue, the Parliament Building which is among the city’s symbolic structures, historic streets like Buzandi Street, Aram Street, and Abovyan Street, and lively streets filled with street artists like Pushkin Street and Parpetsi Street. After our city tour, we have our dinner at a local restaurant famous for its delicious Armenian cuisine and folkloric shows. (meal included, drinks are extra) After dinner, transfer to our hotel.

Day 3 Yerevan (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) (Voghjabert, Geghard, Garni, Khor Virap, Echmiadzin)
After breakfast, we set off for a day filled with magnificent sights. Our first stop will be:Voghjabert Village, to see the Charent's Arch (Ağrı Arch, Ararat Arch) designed to resemble the opening to Mount Ararat. (Approx. 15 km) According to the Bible, Noah's Ark came to rest in this area. Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Geghard Monastery (Approx. 25 km). Located in the shadow of magnificent peaks in the Azat Valley, this monastery, carved into the rocks from the 4th century to the 13th century, is one of the important Christian sites in the world. The monastery’s treasure houses the spear that pierced Jesus Christ. After that, we head to Garni Village for our lunch. At our authentic restaurant featuring local Armenian dishes, you may bake lavash bread with village women during lunch. Next, we will view the UNESCO-listed natural formations known as 'The Symphony of Stones'. (Approx. 10 km)These rocks, sculpted into symmetrical hexagonal shapes by rain and wind over thousands of years, resemble 'Basalt Org'. Afterward, we will visit the Garni Temple, the only surviving Pagan Temple built in the 1st century AD that remains today.(Approx. 10 km)The structure, which provides traces of pre-Christian religious life in the Caucasus, was built in honor of the Sun God Mithras. After that, we will visit Khor Virap Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Ararat (Ağrı Dağı), very close to the Turkish border. (Approx. 50 km)Ermenistan was declared the world’s first 'Christian Nation' in 301. Initially built as a chapel in 642, Khor Virap Monastery was expanded in 1662 and remains one of the country’s most important religious structures. Finally, we will go to Echmiadzin (Vagharshapat), the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church located in the Armavir province of Armenia. (Approx. 50 km)This city houses the Echmiadzin Cathedral, which was built after the state adopted Christianity as the state religion in 301 and is still active today. The cathedral is considered the world’s oldest cathedral and holds the title of the central seat of the Armenian Church. For dinner, we will take you to a special place that we believe you will love for its delicious menu as well as cultural and artistic activities. After the tour, transfer back to Yerevan. (Approx. 25 km)

Day 4 Yerevan- Tsaghkadzor- Lake Sevan- Gosavank- Dilijan- Yerevan (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast and checking out of our rooms, we depart from our hotel. Our first stop is the beautiful mountain town and ski resort Tsaghkadzor, (Approx. 60 km). During our break, you can freely explore this amazing village, which is covered in snow except in the summer, or grab a coffee at the cafes. Next, we continue our journey to Lake Sevan, known as the 'Blue Pearl' and recognized for being both the largest lake in the Caucasus and the highest in the world (Elevation: 1900 meters). (Approx. 90 km) This lake was referred to as 'Gökçe Gölü' in official documents until 1930. On our way, you will be captivated by the stunning natural scenery. The first stop in the lake region is the Sevan Cemetery, which has the largest collection of Khachkars (Armenian cross stones) in the world. After touring this mysterious cemetery, we visit Sevanavank Monastery, built in the 8th century by monks, which is still in use today. After enjoying our lunch consisting of seafood at a local restaurant in Sevan Village, we head to Gosh Village to see the Goshavank Monastery, built in the 12th century as a religious site and school by the Albans and later by Armenian migrants from the Ottoman and Iranian regions in the 19th century. (Approx. 65 km) Next, we will visit Dilijan, one of the most important tourist attractions in the Caucasus, featuring historical buildings and natural beauties that are among the best-preserved sites dating back to the Middle Ages. (Approx. 25 Km) In our tour here, we will see the city center and its historical structures. After visiting here, we will have an evening meal at a restaurant in Dilijan featuring local flavors followed by a transfer back to Yerevan. (Approx. 100 km) Accommodation at our hotel.
