General Information About Our Tour
Dear Guest;
First of all, thank you for choosing us. You can be sure that we will do our utmost to make your trip enjoyable. To enhance this beautiful journey, we present some details below for your information.
Before Traveling
• Before traveling abroad, ensure that your passport is valid and free from any damage (tears, scratches, erasures, etc.). Unless stated otherwise, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If you are traveling to a country that requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in your new passport.
• If you are participating in a tour that requires a visa, please check the visa regime of the country you will be visiting. You can access the detailed and updated list regarding visas applicable to Turkish citizens based on passport types at “http://www.mfa.gov.tr/turk-vatandaslarinin-tabi-oldugu-vize-uygulamalari.tr.mfa.”
• Remember that many countries require the declaration of cash and jewelry above a certain amount when entering the country. This amount is generally 10,000 Euros or more.
• Keep the contact information of two people who can be reached in case something happens to you in your wallet and inside your passport.
• Make sure you have enough cash with you. If possible, also bring a credit card. Write down the contact numbers of your bank to report in case your card is lost or stolen.
• It would be beneficial to obtain private travel insurance. Remember that if you do not have travel insurance, you might have to bear all the costs of health issues you may encounter abroad. If you do not have travel insurance, you can call your sales consultant to purchase it immediately.
• Take photos of the jewelry and valuables you bring with you before leaving the country. In case your jewelry or valuables are stolen, these photos can serve as evidence to claim insurance compensation.
• If you need to take regular medication, do not forget to bring enough of it with you. Pay attention to the expiration dates of the medications you carry.
• Do not bring food items, especially animal products (meat, milk, cheese, etc.), when traveling to a foreign country, as they are often prohibited.
• Pregnant guests may travel with a report from their doctor stating “there is no objection to traveling by plane” between the beginning of the 28th week and the end of the 35th week. Travel is not permitted for pregnant passengers after the 36th week, even with a doctor's report.
• You can quickly and easily purchase your exit fee at the airport or border gate using your credit card. Alternatively, you can acquire it from the bank.
Upon Entry to a Foreign Country
• You are required to have your Travel Insurance with you during your entry and throughout your trip.
• Remember that the visa you have obtained for a country you are traveling to does not guarantee your entrance to that country, even for Turkish citizens. This applies to visa-free countries as well. Therefore, pay attention to the questions you might be asked by the local authorities when entering the country. Avoid unnecessary arguments with your interlocutors.
• Be aware that local authorities (border police, customs officials, etc.) may check your special items and your luggage upon entry into a foreign country. If you encounter such a request, maintain your composure and cooperate with local officials.
• If you hold a special (Green) Passport or a Service (Gray) Passport, remember that even if the country you are traveling to provides visa exemption for your passport, you may be asked for additional information and documentation by border authorities upon entry.
• Protect your passport. If you lose your passport, our Embassies and Consulates will issue you a temporary passport to return to Turkey.
Notes from Us
• The hotel and tourism standards in our country are advanced; the standards in the country you will visit may not be the same as ours and may even be lower.
• Hotels are generally located at a distance from the city center unless stated otherwise.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate hall and may not conform to Turkish breakfast standards. Serving breakfast in a separate hall is not discrimination; it is a common international tourism practice often encountered in our country.
• Hotels do not allow taking food out of the breakfast hall.
• If there are extra tours included in your purchased tour, they can be canceled or rescheduled if adequate participation is not achieved, deemed inappropriate by local authorities, or due to extraordinary events like flight delays or fairs/meetings in the city.
• It is advisable to procure the currency you will bring with you from Turkey, as it may not be possible to exchange TL in the country you are visiting. If your journey is to Europe, it is recommended to carry Euros; for other countries, carry US Dollars.
• Our tours are generally culture-oriented, so there may be intensive walking during city tours; therefore, we recommend coming prepared and dressing appropriately for the season.
• Do not forget to bring your hat, sunglasses, raincoat, umbrella, and similar items.
• Prefer layering clothing (you may sweat while walking, but feel cold when you stop).
• Your shoes should be suitable for walking.
• We recommend that our guests with children take strollers with them, as children may get tired during walks, and a stroller will make your trip easier.
• Having a small backpack can be beneficial. Carry your bag on your chest instead of on your back to prevent theft and other mishaps.
• Do not hesitate to take some simple precautions for your personal safety. For instance, do not carry large amounts of jewelry with you during your travels.
• Our tours may be combined with guests from other agencies. Each agency is responsible for its own guests.
• Panoramic city tours are 2-3 hour tours organized for introducing cities. These tours do not include entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites, serving the purpose of providing general information about the city. Some tours may be done using public transport or on foot due to closed roads or areas where vehicle access is not allowed, or they may be canceled.
• Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability. In triple rooms, there is an extra bed, which is smaller than standard beds.
• In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be an additional bed for the child.
• The check-in time for hotels is set by international rules, generally between 14:00 - 15:00. The check-out time is between 10:00 - 12:00. These times may change during special periods.
• Some of our programs are offered based on several alternative hotels. Programs with multiple hotel options may have the same guide and transfer vehicle.
• It is mandatory for children under 18 who are not accompanied by one or both parents to have the necessary consent documents with them during the tour.
• In case of a flight delay, the places to be visited may change or be completely canceled, as long as the same locations remain. We assure you that we will provide you with the best alternative.
• Some airlines may charge for food and drink services and online check-in.
• The check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in flights are personal matters and must be completed by the guest at the airline counters at the airports or online on the airline's website before the flight. Online Check-ins generally start 24 hours before. Some airports do not allow online check-in.
• Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights will be announced publicly at the airports and displayed on information boards in the area. This information should be followed by you.
• Our agency is not responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport at the announced times for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who do check-in and boarding on time but do not board the plane.
• The expenses required for people who miss their flights to obtain new round-trip tickets and transfers in the destination will be borne by them.
• If your tour covers multiple countries and there are border controls, you may check in at the hotel later depending on the waiting times at the borders.
• Following the movement times given by your guide/tour leader will enable you to see more places and have a more enjoyable trip.
• Your feedback after the tour is very valuable to us. Please do not forget to share your suggestions/complaints and thanks via email.
