Elegant Tbilisi with Turkish Airlines 3 Nights 4 Days TBS-TBS
Day 1 ISTANBUL – TBILISI
We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight time. Following baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we depart for Tbilisi on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel by our buses waiting for us at the airport. After leaving our suitcases at the hotel, we depart for the Tbilisi City Tour. First, we will see Freedom Square and its statue panoramically. We will then climb Sololaki Hill to visit the Mother of Georgia (Kartlis Deda) statue. After our photo stop here, we will descend back to the city center by cable car. After seeing Narikala Fortress panoramically, we will have free time at Meidan Underground Bazaar. During the walking tour that follows, the sulfur baths, old city center, Kura River and Bridge of Peace will be among the places we will see and where we can take photographs. After the tour, free time in the old city center. Following the free time, transfer to our hotel at the time to be determined by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 TBILISI – KAKHETI – BODBE – SIGHNAGHI – KVARELI
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the Treasures of Georgia Tour (Kakheti: Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Kvareli winery). Our first stop is St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe. This place, which is a Georgian Orthodox monastery complex and the center of the Bishops of Bodbe, is one of Georgia’s most important pilgrimage centers due to its connection with Saint Nino, the female evangelist who Christianized the Georgians in the 4th century. Following our visit, we continue to Sighnaghi. This fortress/city, built in the ancient Roman style during the Medieval period, is known by the locals as the “City of Love” due to its romantic atmosphere. After our walk through the city’s romantic cobblestone streets and admiring the enchanting views of the Alazani Valley, we will have free time for walking and capturing the city in your photographs. Following the free time, we depart for Kvareli. Here, we will visit the “Khareba” winery. The Khareba winery has a unique and rare wine cellar located in Kvareli in the Alazani Valley. We will see the winery and the caves where the wines are aged. Following the Khareba tour, you will have the opportunity to taste Georgian wine, bake your own bread and prepare “Churchkhela” (a traditional Georgian dessert made from grape juice and hazelnuts-walnuts). Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 TBILISI – CHRONICLE OF GEORGIA – MTSKHETA – JVELI
After breakfast at our hotel, we set out on the Symbols of Georgia Tour. First, we will head towards the Chronicle of Georgia, one of Tbilisi’s most impressive structures. At this monument, consisting of immense stone columns, we will have the opportunity to see important scenes from Georgian history panoramically. We will have a photo stop here and enjoy the impressive view of Tbilisi’s “Tbilisi Sea”. We will set out towards the city of Mtskheta, known as one of the oldest settlements in the world. Before arriving in Mtskheta, we will view Jvari Monastery, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, from a panoramic viewpoint and admire the magnificent scenery where the Aragvi and Kura rivers meet. Upon arriving in the city, we will walk through Mtskheta’s narrow streets, visit shops selling handicrafts unique to the region and have a short free time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel to rest. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 4 TBILISI – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at our hotel, we check out of our rooms and transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. Following baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services come to an end.
