Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight in front of the All Nippon Airways counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Tokyo on All Nippon Airways scheduled service. Overnight on the plane.
DAY 2 TOKYO – OSAKA
Upon arrival, transfer to Osaka ITM Airport with an All Nippon Airways domestic flight. After arriving in Osaka, we will take a panoramic Osaka city tour. In our tour, we head first to the historic Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century and which played a key role in the unification of Japan, then to the Umeda Sky Building, one of Osaka’s landmarks. This impressive structure, located very close to Osaka and Umeda train stations, consists of two towers with a height of 173 meters. The towers are connected by a platform on the 39th floor called the “Floating Garden Observatory.” Thanks to both its glass-enclosed interior and open terrace, the observatory offers visitors unique views of Osaka. After the tour, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Osaka by Night Tour (40€ per person) organized by our guide. On this tour, places to visit include the Dotonbori area, Shinsaibashi, the heart of shopping, and Namba Street, where the restaurants are located. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. DAY 3 OSAKA
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Kyoto & Nara & Kobe Tour (170€ per person) organized by our guide. We depart for our first stop, Nara. Our first stop is Todaiji Temple, one of the largest wooden structures in the country and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, during our visit to Nara Park, we will have the chance to see the deer freely roaming in the area. Founded in 1880, this park is also home to more than 1,200 wild Sika deer. At this point we give free time and move on to our next stop, Kyoto. We head to Kyoto, the former capital of Japan and one of its best-preserved cities, which even during wartime was not bombed. Upon arrival, we will visit Kinkakuji Temple (the Golden Temple), built according to Zen beliefs and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After completing our tour, we set off for Kobe. During the tour we will carry out in Kobe, which is one of Japan’s ten largest cities, located between the sea and the Rokko Mountains and also considered one of Japan’s most attractive cities, the Kobe Port, Kitano Ijinkan Street and the iconic Ferris wheel are among the places to be seen. DAY 4 OSAKA – TOKYO
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then head to Tokyo by Shinkansen. This journey with the Shinkansen, the fastest train in the world and capable of reaching speeds of 320 km, will take approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival in Tokyo, the heart of Japan, we depart for a panoramic Tokyo city tour. Our first stop on the tour is Asakusa Temple (Senso-ji Temple), this historic temple completed in 645 and said according to legends to have been built by two brothers, with its giant gate called “Kaminarimon.” Then our next stop is Nakamise Shopping Street. We will give free time on this street, where beautiful souvenirs and street foods are located. Guests who wish may join the extra Tokyo by Night Tour (50€ per person) organized by our guide. We head toward Shibuya, Tokyo’s center of attraction. We will visit the famous intersection in this district, one of Tokyo’s most popular areas, the focus of fashion, entertainment and shopping, and engraved in our minds almost with its pedestrian crossing resembling a human tide and its lights. The intersection is decorated with neon lights and giant video advertisements, and when the traffic light turns green for pedestrians, the crossing overflows with people and makes this a wonderful photo spot. We will also take a photo break in front of the Hachiko Statue here and have the opportunity to learn its story. After the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 5 TOKYO
We start the day with breakfast at our hotel and then give free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Tokyo Combined & Premium Outlet Tour (115€ per person) [Ueno Park & Akihabara Electric Town & East Garden & Gotemba Premium Outlet]. Our first stop on the tour is Ueno Park, where Sakura and Hanami celebrations take place and which, with more than 10 million visitors a year, is Japan’s most popular city park. Then our next stop is Akihabara, one of Tokyo’s most famous neighborhoods, the popular “Electric Town” where there are many different kinds of electronics shops with street stalls. Here we give time for shopping. Our next stop is the East Garden of Tokyo Imperial Palace. After our short walk here, our next stop is Ginza Street. After the free time we will give in Tokyo’s most famous luxury shopping, dining and entertainment district, which is home to many shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs and cafes, we continue our tour. After finishing our visit here, the last stop of our day, After our visit here, free time and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 6 TOKYO
We start the day with breakfast at our hotel and then give free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Hakone & Fuji Volcano & Ashi Lake Tour (150€ per person). We head to Hakone, about 2 hours away from Tokyo, which will enchant you with its hot springs, natural beauty and nature. First, we stop in Oshino Hakkai village to enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji. Then our next stop is Owakudani, formed as a result of the eruption of Mount Hakone about 3000 years ago. With sulfurous smoke and hot steam, this Owakudani is still an active volcanic area today. After our tour, we head to Hakone town at the foot of Mount Fuji, our next stop. Here we will take an enjoyable boat ride on Lake Ashi, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and witness the town’s natural beauty up close. DAY 7 TOKYO
We start the day with breakfast at our hotel and then give free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Kamakura & Traditional Japanese Tea with Bamboo Gardens Tour (120€ per person) organized by our guide. Our first stop is the Kamakura Great Buddha, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bronze statue, 13.35 meters high including its base and weighing approximately 93 tons, is also of great importance in terms of religious history. After seeing this work, which was made in the Kamakura period when feudalism began in Japan and samurai emerged, dating back to 1252, we head to our next stop, Hokoku-ji Temple. This temple, which has an important place in Buddhism and is known for its bamboo gardens located on approximately 13,000 square meters of land, was founded by a monk named Tengan Eko to honor the ancestor of the Ashikaga clan. With the nickname “Take-dera,” meaning “Bamboo Temple,” we take a short exploration inside this unique temple formed by the union of more than 2,000 bamboo plants. In the middle of our tour, we take a short break to drink traditional Japanese green tea. After our visit here, we return to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 8 TOKYO – ISTANBUL
In the early hours of the day, we complete our check-out procedures by taking a breakfast box from the hotel and transfer to Tokyo Airport. GENERAL TERMS
1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independent of the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip; Wtatil may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information is communicated to the guest. The full tour fee is refunded to the guest. In the refund of additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic connecting flight purchased from Wtatil is also refunded to the guest, but if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using the visa service and travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded to the guest since they will have been used; if no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance are also canceled and the fee is refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of Wtatil, in the event that the trip is canceled by Wtatil, they cannot claim any refund from Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance, when purchasing the tour, any material or moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, Wtatil has the right to choose not to cancel the tour as an act of goodwill. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guided service included in the package will only cover the round-trip overseas airport transfer.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, excluding air tickets for which payment has been made to and/or committed to the airline by Wtatil, provided that they notify Wtatil in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date. If there are 31 days or less until the start date of the trip, they may cancel by paying a penalty of 50% of the tour fee remaining after the air ticket price; if there are 15 days or less until the start date of the trip, they may cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. If a cancellation is requested, since the cancellation refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connection, visa service, and travel health insurance may vary according to the requested cancellation period, prior information should be obtained regarding the refund. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding cancellation refunds for additional services.
Guiding Services and Optional Tours
5- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours, arranged for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide narration, excluding museum and site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out on the day and time specified in the program because local authorities do not allow visits or entry, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to conduct the said tours. Some tours may, where possible, be carried out by public transportation or on foot in areas with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not permitted.
7- Our guide may make changes to the city tour and/or optional tours based on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and whether museums and sites are closed. This also applies in the event of changes in flight times.
8- Important points to note in our tours conducted with Speed Boats: do not eat a heavy meal and do not drink excessive amounts of water immediately before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guide of their condition.
9- If participation is not made in the tour or meal services specified in the services included in the price, there is no refund.
About Flights
10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger; in possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.
11- Delays or flight time changes may occur on scheduled and charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of change/cancellation of the flight time.
12- Children aged 0-2 pay only the tax fee.
13- According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of air tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
14- For persons participating in air tours, the check-in and boarding procedures to be carried out are personal procedures, and these procedures must be completed by the guest before the flight at airports, from the relevant airline counters, or online on the airlines’ websites.
15- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information boards in the area. This information must be followed personally by the guests.
16- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane, in the event that they cannot take the flight. All expenses arising from matters such as securing new round-trip air tickets required for missed flights and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss the plane in order to join the tour are their own responsibility.
17- For flights departing from Turkey, the general baggage weight is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage weight on these domestic flights may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not under the responsibility of Wtatil.
18- For our guests who wish to upgrade their air tickets with miles (upgrade to business or first class); once the tickets have been issued, upgrade procedures may be carried out depending on the airline’s availability (please check the airline with which you have membership). Mileage is not guaranteed for each flight. Please check whether the program tickets are in an upgradeable class.
19- On some airlines, food and beverage and online check-in services may be subject to an extra fee.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In this case, Wtatil cancellation conditions will apply.
21- In cases where the hotel(s) in the tour program are provided only with category information without specifying names and/or are offered as options for the same destination, this will be notified to the guest by Wtatil 48 hours before departure.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, information will be provided by Wtatil 15 days before the tour departure date.
23- During registration for the purchased tour, the name on the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered/reported correctly into the system by the guest. Air tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to air tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
24- In order to use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey, check whether your phone is enabled for international use by contacting the company that your line belongs to.
25- Hotel check-in time for accommodation is 15.00, and check-out time is 12.00.
26- Requests related to the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Efforts are made to ensure that the reserved rooms match the guest’s preferences, depending on the hotel’s availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- Breakfast served at hotels differs from the familiar rich Turkish breakfast. It is generally served with limited options known as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and for groups it may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
28- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with 2 beds that can be joined when necessary.
29- Child and extra bed policies may vary according to each hotel and room type.
30- Any extra bed or crib is provided upon request and according to the hotel’s availability and must be approved by the hotel.
31- The capacity for an extra bed or crib in the room is 1 (maximum).
32- Extra bed application exists in 3-person rooms; in such rooms, the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are beds that open and close and are called coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type due to the extra beds to be added to the standard room in 3-person rooms and/or reservations with children.
33- If the number of children and their ages to stay with adults, as stated in hotel reservations, are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the age of children.
34- In reservations with 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply for “one child” in the age group staying with 2 adults.
35- Daily exchange rate changes are reflected in TL prices. Rates valid at the time of payment apply. Your additional requests, some extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to an extra charge by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes in force are collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or exit.
37- The road distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country visited, road works, and road conditions.
38- Wtatil may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without disrupting the content of the program in mandatory situations or when deemed necessary.
39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the persons participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.
40- Persons participating in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and, if they have any health problems, the relevant medications and reports with them.
41- For possible extra expenses, the hotel may request a photo ID/passport issued by official institutions and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in. The refund of the deposit requested at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no involvement.
Visa and Passport
42- There is no visa requirement for citizens of the Republic of Turkey.
43- Our guests’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip.
44- At customs crossings/border gates, in order for entry-exit stamps to be placed in your passport, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages.
45- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry into or exit from the country is guaranteed; passport police have the authority to refuse you entry/exit, and Wtatil is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
46- Our guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will join the tour using the passport of the other country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedure applied by the country to be visited to the passport they will use; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for the consequences that arise.
47- In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged; passports must be renewed. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
48- Since there is a possibility that a document showing the mutual consent of the parents may be requested by the police officer on duty at country entry-exit for our guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive to this matter.
