ISTANBUL – BASEL – STRASBOURG – (Freiburg Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL
After completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before departure, we fly to Basel on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1923 at 07:40. Upon arrival at Basel Airport at 09:45 local time, we meet our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport and depart for Strasbourg. Located at the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg will welcome us like a fairytale, with the beauty of a painting. During our panoramic city tour, which we will carry out on foot in the traffic-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has been home to the European Parliament since 1992, we will see, among other places, Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the very heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which continues to serve as a hotel and restaurant today. After the Strasbourg tour and the free time to be given, we set off toward our hotel in the Alsace / Basel region where we will stay overnight. Also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), in our city tour of Freiburg we will see the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water channels unique only to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. ALSACE – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ST. MORITZ – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, following our panoramic journey through Heidi’s Villages, which feature many scenes from the cartoon we all remember with a smile from childhood, where the lovable heroine Heidi lived in the Alps with her grandfather and her best friend Peter, surrounded by endless mountains and green meadows, we head to St. Moritz. After the surrounding sightseeing tour in St. Moritz, a natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set, we proceed to our hotel in the Milan region. MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra organized Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour (65 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be Como. Upon arrival in Como, we will visit Lake Como, famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, home to the summer houses of Hollywood celebrities, European tycoons, and the world jet set, and we will take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. After free time in Como, we proceed to the city center of Milan for the second part of our tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, major sights include the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano. At the end of the Milan Masterpieces Tour, we return to our hotel.
MILAN – (Outlet Tour) – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra organized Outlet Tour (35 Euro). After free time at the famous outlet center, which hosts prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and activity areas, and sets the trend for fashion in Italy, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra organized Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, fascinates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino excursion, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room assignment and free time for rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra organized Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a dazzling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we will first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. During our walk through the old town’s narrow, winding, and traffic-free streets, we will have the chance to browse souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, lined with many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels along Cannes’ coast, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice after the free time to be given. On our Nice tour, places to be seen include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After our Nice tour, during the free time to be given, guests who wish may join our extra organized Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). NICE – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Geneva. Amid magnificent natural scenery, during our journey along the Mont Blanc views, known as the summit of the Alps, on the common borders of France, Switzerland, and Italy, guests who wish may join our extra organized Annecy Tour (50 Euro) on the way. Annecy, called “the Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals and the Thiou River that pass through it, enchants visitors with its canal-based structure and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During the excursion in Annecy, Chateau d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a point of attraction for photography lovers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shore of Lake Annecy, the third-largest lake in France, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Geneva. Geneva, known as “the French city of Switzerland,” and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes the city a central point in cultural and administrative terms. During our sightseeing tour in Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, the main places to be seen are St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become the symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we set off for Bern. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra organized Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy-Tale Castles Tour by GOLDENPASS Express train (95 Euro). After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Basel Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra organized Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first go to the fairytale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the famous district of the city with its colorful houses around the Rhine River, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to taste many delicious foods and buy many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, characteristic rows of shops, cobblestone pedestrian streets with no car traffic, buildings that survived World War II virtually unscathed, and charming cafés, as well as its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which carries the story of the town to the present day, making it resemble a Grimm fairy tale. After our excursion in Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Basel Airport.
