Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Bordeaux at 08:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1389. Arriving at 11:05 local time, we will proceed to Bordeaux with our vehicle waiting at the airport. During our Bordeaux city tour, we will see the Old Town, Place de la Bourse, the Cathedral, and the Bordeaux Theater. After our tour, we will head to the medieval village of St. Emilion, which is surrounded by vineyards and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can taste the local specialties like Gironde caviar, lobster, Pauila mussels, and wines. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Bordeaux for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Sarlat La Caneda, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Western France. The most important structure of the 13th-century medieval town of Sarlat will be the Manoir de Gisson. Sarlat, famous for its honey-colored limestone and lauze roofs, developed around a large Benedictine monastery in the Middle Ages. We will experience the medieval atmosphere as we walk through the cobbled streets, charming courtyards, and picturesque squares. It is known for its interesting mixture of well-preserved medieval and Renaissance buildings. After our tour and free time, we will pass through La Roque Gageac and head to Beynac et Cazenac, classified as one of France's most beautiful villages. The Beynac castle, built on a cliff overlooking the village, offers royal-like views. It witnessed numerous sieges and conflicts during the Hundred Years' War between France and England. In the 14th and 15th centuries, Beynac castle was the frontline that separated opposing forces. This strategic castle has remarkably been preserved and continues to be one of the most impressive châteaux in the Dordogne Valley. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our Bordeaux hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, our first stop will be Biarritz, once a holiday resort for nobles and now a surfing center in Europe. After exploring this fishing town with its luxury beachfront and casinos, we will have free time. After the tour, we will head to San Sebastian, known for its gastronomy. Three out of the seven Michelin three-star restaurants in Spain are located in San Sebastian. La Concha Beach, with its chic hotels and pinchos bars, is popular in this city alongside its cheesecake. The Baroque church Santa Maria del Coro Basilica and the Good Shepherd of San Sebastián Cathedral are among the sites we will visit. Then we will proceed to Bilbao, the capital of the Basque region. The Guggenheim Museum, Plaza Nueva, and Casco Viejo Santiago Cathedral will be among the sights to see. After our tour, we will transfer to our Bilbao hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Pamplona, famous for its Running of the Bulls during the San Fermin Festival. It is established in a valley carved by the Arga River, which is a tributary of the Ebro River, and has streets from the Middle Ages and historical buildings. The City Hall (from outside), city walls, Old Town, bull-running streets, and cathedral will be among the places to see. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our Bilbao hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from our hotel. Our first stop will be Santillana del Mar, a small town made entirely of stone, with all houses built between the 14th and 17th centuries. We will see the Colegiata church. Then we will head to Gijon. The largest oval church in the world, golden sandy beaches, and Roman ruins will be seen. After our tour and free time, we will proceed to Oviedo, the birthplace of Fernando Alonso and the cleanest city in Europe. The symbolic Oviedo Cathedral, its sculptures, and the infinite beach of San Lorenzo will be among the sites to see. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our Oviedo hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for A Coruna, where the master painter Pablo Picasso lived, located in the Galicia region. We will visit Plaza de Maria Pita, the Town Hall, and Paseo Maritimo. Traditional Galician fish with potatoes and a type of dough filled with cheese called Tequeno are delicious dishes that must be tried. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our A Coruna hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Santiago De Compostela, the capital of Galicia. We will visit Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, an important pilgrimage center for Christians, attracting worshippers from all over the world. Then we continue to Braga. Braga is a city established in Northwest Portugal and holds the title of being the oldest city in Portuguese history, built 2000 years ago by the Romans. Following this, we will head to Guimaraes, the birthplace of Portugal. The famous castle of Guimaraes, which is well-preserved, surrounds the historic city center that was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001. In 2012, this beautiful city was selected as the European Capital of Culture. During our walking tour, the medieval castle, original works of Portuguese architecture such as churches, magnificent gardens, historical houses, and alleys will leave a lasting impression. After our tour, we will move to Porto and first carry out our panoramic city tour. Starting from the Boavista district, known as a modern trade and business center, our first stop will be the Queijo castle located by the Atlantic Ocean. From here, we will pass through Foz, an old fishing village where the Douro River meets the ocean, and make our way to Porto city center along the riverbanks. Our tour will begin at Carmo Square, passing by the historical bookstore Lello and the Clerigos Church before descending to Aliados Square. Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, the Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, and Santa Catarina, the city's most famous shopping street, as well as the I. Luis Bridge and the Arrabida Bridge, will be among the places we will visit. Our tour ends with the exploration of the Ribeira district, located along the Douro River, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our Porto hotel for overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Porto airport at the time determined by our guide. After luggage and ticket procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1452 at 16:10. Arriving at 23:55 local time marks the end of our tour.
