Day 1 Ankara – Frankfurt – Strasbourg
Meeting at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, international departures terminal, in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Frankfurt on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 792 at 07:00. Upon arrival in Frankfurt at 08:50 local time, our city tour of Frankfurt begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In this city, which stands out with its rich cultural heritage and modern lifestyle, the places to be seen during our tour include Römer Square (Römerberg) and Goethe House, where Goethe was born, viewed from the outside. After our tour here, we depart for Strasbourg by our waiting vehicle. While visiting Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its fairytale-like nature and historical buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly a place worth seeing. Strasbourg also has historical importance as the place where the French national anthem, “La Marseillaise,” was written. It appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture blend together. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district, decorated with traditional Alsace houses, will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or a hotel in the surrounding area.
Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra “Splendid Alsace Fairy-Tale Villages” tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (€110) On this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity, our first stop is Eguisheim. Having received the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historical buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. As we stroll through Colmar’s remarkably well-preserved streets, the places to be seen include St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stones, Little Venice, which resembles Venice in Italy with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with figures. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a medieval town in France and a charming part of the Alsace region. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical texture. In particular, the Château de Kaysersberg castle from the 13th century is one of the town’s most notable symbols. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of the town, also stands out with its Gothic architecture. Our final stop is Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns in Alsace, home to many half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historical village captivates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old walls of the village to feel the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra “Splendid Germany Duo” tour (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center). (€110) Our first stop on the tour is Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places to see. After the tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a destination rich in nature, a center of culture and art, home to thermal springs, and even one of Europe’s most famous casinos. After exploring Baden Baden, a unique travel route in Europe that inspired many famous writers and composers, we will have free time at the outlet center, where many famous brands are gathered. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra “Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities” tour (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (€130) Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder of Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. This place, embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our fascinating walk with the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping center. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we finish our tour and transfer to our hotel. Day 5 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Ankara
After breakfast, we check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart airport at the time indicated by our guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Ankara on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 791 at 14:25. Arrival in Ankara at 19:35 local time and end of the tour.
