Day 1 Ankara- Baku

At 12:20, we depart to the city of fires, Baku, on the scheduled flight VF 577 of AJET Airlines.
At 15:35 Arrival in Baku and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the rooms.
Day 2 Baku- Ateshgah- Absheron- Heydar Aliyev Center
After breakfast, free time. We start the day by visiting Ateshgah (Fire Temple), one of the three surviving Zoroastrian Temples in the world and the most important, built in the 3rd Century AD. Known for its eternal flames since ancient times, it gained worldwide fame during the active period of the Silk Road, and was reconstructed by Zoroastrian pilgrims in the 17th century. After our visit, we head to Absheron Yanardagh to watch the dancing flames. Next, we visit the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid, which made headlines worldwide with its enormous area of 101,000 square meters. This complex represents the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology and consists of theaters and conference halls, a museum, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: The cultural center may not accept visitors on certain days. Our company is not responsible for such situations, as the announcement of open hours is not made in advance. If it is open, we will enter; if closed, we will see it from the outside.) After the free time given, transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3 Baku (Dinner with Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for our Full Day Baku City Tour. Modern elements have been added to the traditional and historical features of Baku due to many recent investments. On this comprehensive tour through Old and New Baku, we first go to Shehidler Khiyabani (Martyrs’ Lane) and then to Yayla Park. Here, you will be able to take plenty of photos with panoramic views of the city and the Baku Bay. Then, we visit the Old City, also known as Icheri Sheher, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This section of the tour allows you to see and learn about the historical and traditional aspects of Baku. The places we will see around here and nearby include the Maiden Tower from the 12th century, the Friday Mosque from the 15th century, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret, and Mohammed Mosque, the world’s only Miniature Book Museum, Shirvan Shah Palace regarded as one of the gems of Azerbaijan’s architectural history, Ismail Palace which serves as the Science Academy today, the city’s heart, Independence Avenue, the Fountain Square from which it takes its name, the famous Belediye Park with the Philharmonic Fountain, and the National Carpet and Kilim Museum. After visiting the modern side of the city with numerous futuristic architectural works, including the world-renowned Flame Towers, we proceed to the Baku Boulevard which is parallel to the coastal area also known as 'Little Venice', where oil barons built their mansions a century ago. At the end of the tour, we proceed to a local venue for a Dinner with Folkloric Azerbaijani Night. Enjoy traditional Mugham music and local delicacies at one of the city’s historic venues, followed by a transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 Baku- Shamakhi- Gabala- Sheki
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards Shamakhi. (approximately 125 km) Known for its significance in the Ottoman-Safavid Wars, Shamakhi is also one of the most important centers of winemaking and carpet weaving in the Caucasus. Here we will see the old town center, the Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum lying at the foot of Gulustan Castle, and the Friday Mosque. Then we continue towards the famous natural beauties of Gabala (approximately 95 km). Along the way, we will enjoy the unique views of Nohur Lake surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of National Park and relax during our free time by the lake, letting Gabala’s mountains, forests, and waterfalls renew your energy. After our pleasant break, we proceed to Sheki, our final destination of the day (approximately 90 km). Upon arrival, we explore Sheki, known as one of Azerbaijan's oldest, most authentic, and most beautiful cities. A classic mountain city, Sheki is renowned for its soft-hearted people with unique culture and cuisine. Places we will see include the historic stone and wooden buildings scattered across narrow, cobbled streets, the Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserais which are currently partially functioning as hotels, the magnificent Sheki Khan Palace, part of Sheki Fortress consisting of Sheki Crafts Workshop, Ethnographic Museum, Art Gallery, and Art House, as well as the important religious structures like the Han and Friday Mosques. During our free time in the bazaar, you can taste the famous Azerbaijani Tea and Sheki Halva and shop for beautiful silk products among many handmade artistic treasures. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and check-in. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 5 Sheki- Bodbe Monastery- Signaghi- Tbilisi
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards the Azerbaijan/Georgia Border (approximately 90 km). As per regulations, a vehicle change will take place at the border. After completing the necessary procedures, we head to the Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia's most important religious sites, known for its architecture and surrounding nature (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we proceed to 'Love City Signaghi' (approximately 15 km). Known for its natural beauty, restored charming stone buildings, and tourist appeal, we will tour this lovely place, which features the Signaghi Fortress with its walls stretching over 4 km, earning it the nickname 'Georgia's Wall', the architecturally beautiful St. George Church, and well-preserved historical buildings in the city center, as well as the 'Doctor on the Donkey' statue, honoring the town's beloved doctor who once traveled each village by donkey to help the sick. During the city tour, we will travel in special electric vehicles and will take photo breaks at points like Kakheti panorama, Signaghi panorama, St. George tower, providing stunning views. During our free time, guests can freely explore this delightful town, shop, and have their lunches. Afterwards, we will proceed to Tbilisi (approximately 10 km). Upon arrival, we will check-in to our rooms at the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 6 Tbilisi (Dinner with Caucasian Night)
After breakfast, we begin our Full Day Tbilisi Tour. This beautiful city surprises visitors with what it offers. We start with the sites such as Narikala Fortress, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnographic Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theatre, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, and The Mother of Georgia Statue, concluding with the main square of the city, Liberty Square, the seat of the government Parliament Building, and the Archaeological Museum housing many of the country's significant historical treasures. This is followed by a visit to the Art Museum holding over 3,500 works, the replica of Samtavisi Cathedral built in the 11th century named Kashueti St George Church, the National Museum of Georgia containing important national treasures, the Opera and Ballet Theatre hosting significant performances, the well-known MoMa Museum known for its sculptures and temporary exhibitions, the Historical Books Museum, and the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Glass Hall, as well as the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral is the biggest religious structure in modern Georgia visible from almost everywhere in Tbilisi. We then proceed to Metekhi Hill where stands the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali also known as 'The Mounted King', and the historical Metekhi Virgin Mary Church, dating back to the 4th century, is visible as well. We will stroll through and see the Orbeliani Park famous for the Flower Market and Covered Market, Atoneli Street which has become a center of attraction through the restoration of 13 important buildings among the country’s cultural heritage, and Gabriadze Neighborhood. We will visit Liberty Square, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari District, Georgian Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral. We will enjoy a free time to experience local delicacies at authentic cafes while visiting Bethlehem Street, which is the center for the Jewish Community of Georgia, and proceed to the Fortress Area where Narikala is located. With a short cable car ride, we ascend to see the Kartvlis Deda Statue - the Mother of Georgia erected to celebrate Georgia’s 1500th anniversary in 1958, where we can also take panoramic photos of the city. We return down via cable car to Abanotubani, where historic sulfur baths from the 4th century, followed by a visit to the historical Friday Mosque also known as the 'Twin Mihrab' built by the Ottomans in 1724 and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We’ll descend the famous Winding Stairs and cross the Wooden Bridge of Love to the local Market Underground where we will have some free time. Afterward, we will head to a venue where you can enjoy breathtaking Caucasian folklore performances while savoring a menu consisting of Georgian delights. At the end of this wonderful day, we will transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 7 Tbilisi- Chronicle of Georgia- Gori- Uplistsikhe- Jvari- Mtskheta- Tbilisi
After breakfast, we will take a short trip to the Chronicle of Georgia (approximately 15 km). Located at the top of Keeni Hill, this monument started construction in 1985 but has never been completed as important current events are continually added to it, which makes it a unique art piece in the world. Afterward, we continue on to Gori (approximately 85 km). Upon arrival, we visit the Stalin Museum, where many items and photographs from the era of Stalin, who transformed the Soviet Union into an industrial and military giant, are exhibited. Then, in the free time given in Gori, you can explore this charming town. Next, we head to Uplistsikhe, where cave houses remind one of Cappadocia (approximately 15 km). Our next stop is Jvari (approximately 65 km), built in the 6th century on a high hill overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Kura Rivers. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most important historical and religious treasures of Georgia. With architectural beauty and breathtaking views, the monastery has been the center of many significant events throughout history. After visiting here, we head to Mtskheta, the previous capital of Georgia, also known as the 'UNESCO City' (approximately 20 km). In this historic city that is one of the oldest settlements that have survived to this day, we will see the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most sacred religious sites in Georgia. During the free time you’ll have, you can complete your shopping for world-famous Georgian wines and souvenirs as well as explore this fairy-tale city freely. At the end of our tour, we return to the hotel for accommodation.
Day 8 Tbilisi- Ankara
Transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide.
At 05:05 we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled flight VF 616 of AJET Airlines.
