DAY 1 ISTANBUL – BERLIN – POZNAN
Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Berlin on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, departure for Poznan by our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival in Poznan, check-in at our hotel and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 2 POZNAN – WARSAW
Following breakfast, we begin our Poznan city tour. During our city tour, we will see Poland’s largest greenhouse, “The Palm House,” the Market Square, the City Hall, which best reflects the influence of the Renaissance on the country, St. Maria Magdelana Collegiate Church, one of the finest Baroque buildings in the country, and Freedom Square. Following our tour, we depart for Warsaw. Guests who wish may join the Torun Tour (40 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional excursion along the route. Torun, reflecting medieval Gothic architecture, is home to monumental churches built entirely of brick, a historic town hall, and city walls. Torun, the city where Mikaloj Kopernik was born and raised and where the fact that the Earth is not located at the center of the universe was proven, is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Following visits to the old city center, the Town Hall, and Kopernik’s house, departure for Warsaw and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 3 WARSAW – KRAKOW
Following breakfast, a panoramic city tour of Warsaw will be organized. Places to be seen include the Royal Castle, the column statue of Zygmunt Waza III, Royal Square, Bell Square, Barbakan, the monumental gateway to the city, the Mermaid Sirena monument, and Madame Curie’s house. Following our tour, guests who wish may join the Czestochowa Tour (40 Euros), which we will organize as an optional excursion along the route. Known as Poland’s open-air museum, Czestochowa is a world-famous city home to the Black Madonna painting and the Pauline monastery of Jasna Gora, which houses the shrine of the Virgin Mary. After visiting this sacred city, which attracts more than 5 million visitors every year, we depart for Krakow. Transfer to the hotel and room allocation. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 4 KRAKOW
Following breakfast, our panoramic Krakow city tour begins. In this city, where Pope John Paul II was elected pope while serving as archbishop, we will first see the historic city center, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will feel as though you are walking through medieval Europe in this square, one of the largest in Europe and surrounded by countless historic buildings. Afterwards, we will see Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral, where Pope John Paul II delivered his first sermon as a priest. Other places to be seen include the Market Square, the Cloth Market–Sukiennice Covered Market, St. Mary’s Basilica, Florianska Street, Barbakan, and the Slowacki Theatre. Following the city tour, guests who wish may join the Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour (80 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional excursion. The Wieliczka Salt Mine, used as a rock salt mine in the 13th century and later decorated with salt sculptures, has been transformed into an underground city through artistic works and is also included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Transfer to the hotel after the visit. Guests who wish to spend the evening enjoying entertainment may join the optional Polish Night with Dinner (75 Euros). We will spend the evening at a local restaurant where local flavors can be enjoyed with live music. Following our tour, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 5 KRAKOW – WROCLAW
Following breakfast, we depart for Wroclaw. Guests who wish may join the Auschwitz Nazi Camp Tour (85 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional excursion along the route. We visit the Auschwitz–Birkenau Nazi camp, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where approximately 1.5 million Jews were systematically tortured and murdered during the Second World War. Following our tour, arrival in Wroclaw and a Wroclaw city tour. During our city tour, we will see the Market Square in the historic center and the City Hall, whose construction began in the 13th century and which is still used today for social and cultural events. Afterwards, we will see Ostrow Tumski, “Cathedral Island,” the oldest part of the city, whose history dates back to the 9th century. Following our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 6 WROCLAW – BERLIN
Following breakfast, we depart for Berlin. Guests who wish may join the Dresden Tour (45 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional excursion along the route. Following our arrival in Dresden, our city tour begins. Places to be seen include the Semper Opera House, Theater Square, Frauenkirche, Martin Luther Square, and Prague Street. After visiting Dresden, we depart for Berlin. Arrival in Berlin and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 7 BERLIN
Following breakfast, Berlin city tour. During our panoramic Berlin city tour, places to be seen include Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm (TV Tower), Rotes Rathaus (Berlin City Hall), Nikolai Square, Berlin Cathedral, Schlossplatz and Unter den Linden Boulevard, Friedrichstraße and Gendarmenmarkt with their two famous cathedrals, remnants of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Kurfürstendamm Boulevard. Guests who wish may join the Potsdam Tour (55 Euros), which our guide will organize as an optional excursion. In Potsdam, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, places to be seen include Sanssouci Palace, the Obelisk, Brandenburg Gate, Nikolai Church, the Historic Ende Mill, the Russian Colony of Alexandrowka, the French Church, and St. Peter und Paul Church. Following the tour, departure for our hotel and overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 8 BERLIN – ISTANBUL
Following breakfast, departure for the airport. Departure for Istanbul on a Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport and end of our tour.
