ISTANBUL – LONDON – (London Evening Tour)
After completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight, we fly to London at 13:15 with Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled TK198 flight. Upon arrival at London Heathrow Airport at 15:10 local time, we transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. After arriving at our hotel in the London region, where we will stay, we take our rooms and provide free time to rest. In the evening, our guests who wish may participate in our optional London Evening Tour program (45 GBP). After our tour, where we will discover some of London’s most iconic structures and its main streets reflecting the city’s night life, one of the world’s most important metropolises known for being lively at all hours of the day, we return to our hotel.
LONDON – (Warner Bros and Harry Potter Studios Tour) (London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour)
After breakfast, during the free time that will be offered, our guests who wish may join the optional Warner Bros and Harry Potter Studios Tour (125 Euro). On this tour, we visit Warner Bros. Studios, where the Harry Potter film series was shot. In this unique experience, where film sets, costumes, and behind-the-scenes details are displayed, we have the opportunity to closely discover the magical world behind the scenes. During our visit, we see iconic scene areas from the films such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Express. We also learn details about how special effects were created, how the sets were designed, and the film production process. Throughout the tour, we have the chance to examine original costumes, props, and set designs exhibited in the studio, experiencing the visual world of the Harry Potter universe more closely. After the free time given, we complete our tour. During the rest of the day, within the free time offered, our guests who wish may join the optional London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour (145 GBP). On this tour, we first arrive in Greenwich, one of London’s most characteristic districts. In our tour, where we will see the Royal Observatory and the point through which the prime meridian passes in Greenwich Park, we will also observe the area’s historical buildings, park area, and views of the Thames River panoramically. We then proceed for our boat tour on the Thames River. During this pleasant journey from Greenwich to Westminster, we will have the chance to see London’s symbolic landmarks such as Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, and The Shard from the river. Upon arriving in the Westminster area, we begin our walking tour. After visiting Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the area around the London Eye, we continue along Parliament Square toward Downing Street. Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and important points of the city center are also included on our walking route. We continue our tour by arriving at the British Museum, considered one of the world’s most important museums. In this museum, which stands out with its vast collection spanning from ancient times to the present, we panoramically see the Great Court with its glass dome and the sections where artifacts from different civilizations are exhibited. After a short free time, we complete our tour by taking a sightseeing drive through Oxford Street, Regent Street, Chinatown, Leicester Square, and Piccadilly Circus, and return to our hotel.
LONDON – (Oxford Tour) – CAMBRIDGE – YORK
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Cambridge, one of England’s most established university cities. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Oxford Tour (65 Euro). On our tour, we travel to Oxford, home to one of the world’s oldest universities. In the city, which has been the center of academic life for centuries, we tour the city center among university colleges, historic courtyards, and libraries. During our city tour, landmarks such as the Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, and university buildings are among the places we see panoramically. College buildings that inspired the Harry Potter film series and where some scenes were shot are also among the notable points during our tour. After a short walk in the historic streets and free time for photos, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Cambridge. Founded in the 13th century, the city, with University of Cambridge, is one of the important centers in world academic history and stands out with its historic colleges, orderly street layout, and peaceful atmosphere. During our Cambridge city tour, we panoramically see King’s College Chapel, one of the most impressive examples of Gothic architecture. Then we will panoramically see university buildings such as Trinity College, St John’s College, and Clare College. The walking paths along the River Cam and the bridges that have become one of the city’s symbols are also among the places we will see during our panoramic city tour. After a sightseeing tour through the historic streets in the city center, where we will closely feel the academic and cultural fabric of the region, we head to our hotel in the York area where we will stay. YORK – (Edinburgh Tour) – GLASGOW
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to arrange our York city tour. York, inhabited since the Roman period, attracts attention with its medieval walls and narrow cobblestone streets. During our city tour, York Minster Cathedral, the historic city center, and the city walls are among the places seen panoramically. After the photo break and free time for a sightseeing tour, we set off toward Glasgow. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Edinburgh Tour (80 GBP). The capital of Scotland, the city stands out with its unique identity that combines historic and modern architecture. Beginning in the UNESCO World Heritage listed old town, we continue along the Royal Mile. Our tour then includes a panoramic view of Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the city. St Giles’ Cathedral, Princes Street, and the Holyrood Palace area are also among the places seen panoramically. After free time for a sightseeing tour on streets where traditional Scottish ale pubs, considered an important part of Edinburgh’s city life, can be experienced, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Glasgow. GLASGOW – (Windermere Lake and Boat Tour) – LIVERPOOL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to arrange our Glasgow city tour. Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city and an important trade and production center during the Industrial Revolution, is now notable for its richness in culture, art, and architecture. During our city tour in Glasgow, George Square, considered the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, university buildings with historic character, and the city silhouette along the River Clyde are among the places seen panoramically. Continuing through the city’s modern side, via streets and shopping districts, we observe Glasgow’s development from past to present. After a short photo break and free time, we complete our Glasgow city tour and head to Liverpool. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Windermere Lake and Boat Tour (65 GBP). On this tour, we reach the Lake District National Park, one of England’s most impressive natural beauties. This unique landscape, surrounded by hills, valleys, and lakes in every shade of green, stands out as one of the country’s most important natural areas. During our boat tour on Windermere, the region’s largest lake, we will have the opportunity to discover the surrounding natural scenery from different angles. As we move across the lake, we will be able to closely feel the peaceful atmosphere and the area’s nature-filled environment. After the boat tour, we complete our tour with a short free time and continue our journey to Liverpool. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Liverpool region, we provide free time to take our rooms. After this free time, we depart to arrange our Liverpool panoramic city tour and sightseeing. Liverpool, one of England’s important port cities and a city that developed with the Industrial Revolution, has become one of the country’s most notable centers with its maritime trade and cultural structure. It is also recognized worldwide for its influence in music and art. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Manchester. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Chester and Cheshire Designer Outlet Tour (50 GBP). Chester, one of England’s best-preserved historic cities, stands out with its Roman-era past, medieval architectural structures, and distinctive city plan. During our city tour in Chester, Eastgate Clock, one of the city’s symbols, and the two-story historic shopping structures known as Chester Rows are among the main places seen panoramically. Continuing through narrow streets, we further get to know the city’s characteristic fabric; the historic walls surrounding the city and Chester Cathedral are also on our list of places to see. After the panoramic tour and a short free time, we visit Cheshire Designer Outlet, one of England’s largest outlet centers. After a pleasant free time for affordable and quality shopping among stylish stores of world-famous prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and leisure activity areas, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Manchester Airport for our return flight to Istanbul.
