Important Notes
• The tour duration is 5 nights and 6 days, including the day of departure and return, with 5 nights of hotel accommodation.
• In our tour, guiding, transportation, accommodation, and sightseeing are included as a package and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guiding, sightseeing rights, etc. cannot be refunded.
• Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child accompanying two adults only. For children aged 0-6, a separate bed may not be provided in hotel accommodation.
• In hotel accommodations, the 3rd guest in triple rooms is usually accommodated on an extra bed.
• The hotels specified in the program are the priority accommodation facilities of Dgn Travel. Changes may be made in the region and hotels depending on occupancy, provided that hotel standards remain the same. The names of the hotels will be communicated to guests 48 hours before departure, if requested, according to availability.
• The rooms in the hotels are determined by the hotel. Room selection cannot be made.
• Our rest stops may be changed in terms of location and service standards due to reasons such as crowding, renovations, etc., provided they remain the same.
• In the program timing (during the day at visited points or between days), the guide may make changes as necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, crowding at visited places, etc.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for places that cannot be visited during the tour due to force majeure (weather, road, crowding at visited places, etc.) or if guests do not adhere to the timing provided by the guide during the tour. In such a case, the guest has no claim rights.
• In our air tours, changes may be made at the regional airports in a way that does not affect the sightseeing points included in the tour program. In such cases, information will be provided to the guest by Dgn Travel along with the flight tickets. If there is no deficiency in the program regarding airport changes, the guest does not have any claim rights.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for the delays in our air tours caused by adverse weather conditions or delays from the airline. In such cases, the guest has no claim rights.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any changes to the departure times made by the airline company in our air tours. Changes in departure times will be communicated to the guest by Malitur.
• A tiered pricing system is implemented in all our tours. As the number of reservations within the package tour increases and the date approaches, the tour prices may increase incrementally. Dgn Travel reserves the right to raise prices. In this case, it is not possible to fix the price without making a down payment.
• Seat numbers cannot be guaranteed or promised during the reservation. There is no guarantee for the notes entered in the reservation. Special seat selections, such as front or back, cannot be made.
• The seating arrangement inside the vehicle is determined by the Dgn Travel Operation based on the order of reservation. Refunds are not possible in case of disputes regarding seat placements. All seats in our vehicles are of the same standard.
• Extra tours, such as night tours included in the tour program, will take place depending on the number of participants and the conditions of the available personnel. Extra tours to be made along the way will be carried out even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not join extra tours will be directed to rest areas or city centers by our guide. Guests who do not participate in extra tours have accepted to join the tour by agreeing to wait at the rest stop.
• If any extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest has no claim rights. Dgn Travel has no liability in this case.
• The prices of extra tours may vary by periods. In such cases, the extra tour price applicable is considered as of the date of travel, not the date the guest purchased the tour. The price for the extra tour during the travel period will be valid. The guest has accepted this by purchasing the tour.
• Dgn Travel is not responsible for any material damages caused by the guests during services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, dining areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to demand damages caused by guests.
• In cases where minors under the age of 18, who are not considered adults, are not accompanied by one or both of their parents, it is mandatory to carry the consent form required for participation in the tour during travel.
• Guests participating in the tour must carry reports regarding their health problems, pregnancy status, and medications they regularly use with them.
• Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc. at the scheduled times for departure points.
• Information regarding the estimated arrival times at the end of the tour may be affected by force majeure; Dgn Travel is not responsible for such delays.
• Guests will be dropped off at the opposite direction of the stops we picked them up at the end of the tour. Please do not insist on getting off at a different point with the vehicle staff.
• According to traffic law, all guests in the vehicle are required to wear seat belts throughout their journey, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for any situations otherwise.
• Guests are responsible for all personal belongings in the vehicle at rest stops, etc.
• Since the first day's tour will begin before entering the hotel, please prepare your necessary belongings separately.
• Due to the intensity of the program during the tour, it is advisable to be prepared as it may not always be possible to find ATM, currency exchange offices, etc.
• Long distances may be covered during the scheduled programs. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide in the vehicle.
• Lunches consist of region-specific economical menus. For lunch and dinner, tables are used that are grouped according to the crowding of the area.
• The starting and ending routes of our tours are determined according to the density of the region. Guests can learn the confirmed start and end of the route two days in advance if they wish.
• If the agency does not reach a sufficient number for the tour, it is obliged to inform the guest, and the guest can choose to postpone the tour to the next date or cancel it. Alternatively, ticketing can be arranged to the nearest departure point to facilitate the guest's participation in the tour. In such a case, the agency is obliged to inform the guest through a call, SMS, or email three (3) days in advance. In such a case, the guest has no claim rights.
• In cancellation and modification procedures made by the guest up to 30 days before the start date of the service, the amount paid will be refunded to the guest without providing a reason. In cancellation and modification procedures made 29 to 15 days before the tour date, 0% of the reservation fee will be retained; for cancellations made between 15-7 days, 50% of the reservation fee will be retained; for cancellations made 7 days or less before the tour date, 100% of the reservation fee will be retained.
• Guests who purchase the Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package can cancel the purchased package tour without specifying a reason up to 72 hours before the start date of the tour. In the event of cancellation, the total amount of the package tour fee paid will be refunded without any deductions, depending on the payment method. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover airline tickets.
CANCELLATION, REFUND AND ASSURANCE PACKAGE
The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package allows the guest to cancel and modify the purchased package tour up to 72 hours before the start date of the tour without providing any reason. After cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded to the guest without any deductions, based on the payment method. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover air travel in package tours. Guests who wish to take this package can add it as an extra to their reservations during the booking process.
MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NO. 1618
The scope of Mandatory Travel Insurance No. 1618 covers the bankruptcy of the Agency or any reason for not providing package tour services. It is included in the tour price. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment expenses. Private health insurance is the responsibility of the guest.

Day 1

- We meet with our valued guests at Adana Airport after our morning flight for the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour and proceed to our bus. We start the day with breakfast in Adana.
- After breakfast, we have a panoramic view of the Historic Stone Bridge over the Seyhan River in Adana, then we head to Sabancı Central Mosque, which is one of the most important mosques in the region. The main dome with a diameter of 32 meters corresponds to the 32 obligatory prayers, the 28 domes in the courtyard correspond to the 28 prophets mentioned in the Quran, and the 40 windows in the main dome correspond to the age of Hz. Muhammad (s.a.v.) and the 40 rakats of prayer. The 6 minarets, which are 99 meters high, correspond to Allah's 99 beautiful names. After visiting this architectural masterpiece, we bid farewell to Adana and head to Gaziantep.
- We start our Gaziantep tour with Gaziantep Castle, which is built on a hill in the city center. Although it is unknown when the castle was built, it is known to have been used for observation purposes during the Roman period. The castle has been restored many times throughout history and reached its current state with renovations made in the early 2000s. It suffered significant damage in the 2023 earthquake. After seeing the castle, we visit the tombs of Pir Sefa Hazretleri and Hz. Yusha Prophet with a walk through the streets. Then we visit Sedefçiler (Mother-of-Pearl workers), Baharatçılar (Spices sellers), Sebze Hali (Vegetable Hall), Historical Paşa Han, Tahtani Mosque, Uzun Bazaar, Historical Customs Han, Zincirli Bedesten, and Kunduracılar Bazaar before reaching the Copper Bazaar. Here we explore the 250-year-old Almacı Bazaar, known as the oldest bazaar in Gaziantep. Next, we reach Tahmis Coffee. Built between 1635-1638 by the Türkmen Ağa and District Governor Mustafa Ağa Bin Yusuf to generate income for the Mevlevihane Tekke, we have some free time to enjoy Menengiç Coffee and shop in the bazaars. After our free time, our next stop will be the Zeugma Museum. After the submerged Zeugma City in Birecik Dam’s waters, the mosaics of the villas of Roman Generals were excavated and exhibited in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Opened in Gaziantep on September 9, 2011, this museum, with its 1,700 square meters of mosaics, is the second largest mosaic museum in the world, featuring the world-famous "Gypsy Girl" mosaic, as well as mosaics on themes from Greek mythology, which we will explore with the guidance of our tour leader. After our visit to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, we bid farewell to Gaziantep and head to Halfeti, one of our country's "Cittaslow" towns.
- After the construction of the Birecik Dam, part of Halfeti is submerged. Guests wishing to join can board our waiting boat for a Halfeti Boat Tour (extra). During our cruise on the dam lake, we will see the Kral Kızı Cave, Rumkale, and the Mosque and Minaret of Savaşan Village, which was submerged under the Euphrates River. After the boat tour, we have a short break in Halfeti. After completing our excursion, we head to our hotel in Şanlıurfa. Guests may choose to participate in an evening folk music night to experience local culture (extra).

- On the 2nd day of the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour with DGN Travel, after breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Balıklıgöl, one of the most famous places associated with Şanlıurfa. Balıklıgöl is located southwest of the Şanlıurfa city center and is thought to be the site where Prophet Ibrahim was thrown into the fire. It is one of the most visited places in Şanlıurfa, known for its sacred fish and the historic artifacts around it. After seeing Balıklıgöl (Halil-Ür Rahman) and Aynzeliha Lake, which is said to be formed from the tears of Zeliha, we take a photo break. Then, we have some free time in the authentic bazaars of Şanlıurfa to buy local products. Afterwards, we board our bus and head to Harran which means “the place where roads meet.” Harran is known for its Conical Roofed Houses, found in only three areas in the world. We will visit Harran University (Ulu Mosque), Harran Mound, Castle, Caravanserai, and Traditional Conical Roofed Houses, and we will be guests in one of them. During our visit to the guest house, you can dress in local costumes and take photos. After visiting Harran, we board our bus to go to Göbeklitepe.
- Located near Örencik village of Şanlıurfa, we arrive at Göbeklitepe, which hosts the first temples of ancient Anatolia and the world, and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Göbeklitepe, which dates back 12,000 years, has changed not only the region's history but also human history since its discovery, and in previous years National Geographic magazine featured it worldwide with the slogan "The Place Where Religion Was Born." We receive historical information about Göbeklitepe from our guide. Afterward, we have lunch, complete our tour of Şanlıurfa, and head towards Mardin.
- We start our exploration of Mardin with Kasımiye Madrasah. Built during the Artuqid period, it was completed during the reign of Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım Ibn Cihangir in the late 15th century. We get information from our guide while exploring and take photos, then we get off the bus at Diyarbakır Gate and start our walk through the old streets of Mardin. In our walk starting from Cumhuriyet Square, we will see Şeyh Çabuk Mosque, Zinciriye Madrasah, Mardin Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, Sokulbar (Inkers Bazaar), and the Copper Bazaar. During our walk, we will visit Mardin Ulu Mosque, known for its architectural features from the Artuqid period. According to records, the current single minaret of the mosque was built in 1888/1889 in a new eclectic style. After receiving historical information from our guide here, we will continue our walk through the small tunnels (Abbaras) connecting the streets. We will see the Shatana Mansion, an old Armenian mansion that was used as the former PTT building. Then, we will visit Şehidiye Mosque, built by Artuqid Sultan Melik Nasreddin Artuk Arslan in the early 13th century, take a short break to have tea while enjoying the view of the Mesopotamia Plain and taking wonderful photos. Finally, we will make our famous coffee and nut shopping in Mardin before heading to the hotel.

- On the 3rd day of the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour with DGN Travel, after breakfast at the hotel, we head to Deyrulzafaran Monastery, where the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchs live. (In case of congestion in the region, the visit to Mor Gabriel Monastery will be made.) This monastery, resembling a living history, contains the tombs of 52 Syriac patriarchs. Following the visit to Mor Hananyo Church, the House of Saints, Mary Mother Church, and Sun Temple, we take a short break. The Deyrulzafaran Monastery, which dominates the Mardin Plain and has magnificent architecture, will fascinate you. After our free time, guests wishing to do so will visit Dara Antique City and Beyazsu (Extra). Dara Antique City, located in Oğuz village, 30 km southeast of Mardin, is one of the most important settlements in Upper Mesopotamia. We will explore the cave-style structures of Dara, which spread over a large area, under the guidance of our guide. After our visit to Dara, we head to Beyazsu, where water springs from the plateau and hills south of Midyat. We take a coffee break at Beyazsu, known for its cool and clear waters and shady trees in the arid region of Mardin.
- After the Dara Antique City and Beyazsu program, we move towards Midyat, the meeting point of religions and languages. In Midyat, we visit the Midyat Guesthouse, where series like Sıla and Hercai were filmed. After taking fantastic photos during our visit, we will visit a telkari workshop, where you can see and buy the products of this art form developed by Syriac masters over the years. After our shopping in the telkari workshop, we will have some free time to wander among the historic Midyat Houses. After our free time, we meet our waiting bus and head towards Hasankeyf.
- In Hasankeyf, which dates back 12,000 years, a new settlement was established 3 km away after the confirmation of the Ilısu Dam's construction. During our visit, we will share the sadness of Hasankeyf, which was submerged under water in February 2020, by seeing the magnificent Hasankeyf Castle, the secret water tunnel, the El Rızık Mosque's minaret, and the caves while taking a break. After our free time, we will go through Batman, where the first oil wells in Turkey are located, seeing the oil pumps panoramically on our way to the historical and deeply rooted city of Diyarbakır.
- Our first stop in Diyarbakır will be the Malabadi Bridge located within the Silvan borders. The stone arch bridge, built during the Artuqid period and having the largest arch span in the world, will provide us with a photo opportunity. Afterward, we head to our hotel for the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

- On the 4th day of the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour with DGN Travel, after breakfast at the hotel, we start our exploration of the stone turned to art within the city walls. First, we visit the Museum House of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, a poet known for his verse "I’m thirty-five, the middle of the road." (In case of maintenance and construction, the visit may not be possible.) In this beautiful house, which has created separate uses for every season, you will see the fine examples of regional civil architecture. After our short break, we will visit the Ulu Mosque, which is the first mosque in Anatolia and the 5th Holy Shrine in the Islamic World, and then see the Four-Legged Minaret (Sheikh Mutahhar Mosque), built by Akkoyunlu Kasım Bey in 1500. Next, we will see the oldest parts of the Diyarbakır walls, including Keçi Burcu, Urfa Gate, and Mardin Gate, which date back 9,000 years and exists generation after generation. We will also visit the Hevsel Gardens, which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015, located along the Tigris River, and known for their agricultural value as well as their cultural and historical significance. We will see On Gözlü Bridge, where people used to tie their wishes to a cloth and throw it into the river, and after taking a short photo break, we proceed to Eğil, the land of prophets.
- Eğil is where names mentioned in the Quran, like Zulkifl and Elyesa, have their graves, demonstrating its spiritual significance. This district, which has witnessed continuous settlement since the Assyrian period and has managed to carry its traces to the present day, has captivating historical structures like Kralkızı dam lake, water cisterns, Assyrian Castle, and Eğil Castle. After having some free time to explore this charming district with its colorful houses and streets, we will proceed to Hazar Lake. Hazar Lake is a tectonic freshwater lake with beaches, campsites, and facilities, adding a unique charm to the eastern region. We will have free time to relax at Hazar Lake, and after that, we board our bus to Elazığ.
- In Elazığ, we first take a short tour in Harput, then we listen to why the 3,000-year-old Harput Castle is called Milk Castle. We will visit Harput Ulu Mosque, famously known as the Leaning Minaret of the East, before seeing Harput's historic houses from the outside. Next, we visit the Arap Baba Tomb and hear the story of Arap Baba from our guide. Finally, we will visit the Meryem Ana Church located to the east of Harput Castle. After acquiring information about Meryem Ana Church, one of the oldest dens in Anatolia, we will have some free time in Elazığ bazaar. At the meeting time, we will head to our hotel. - On the 5th day of the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour with DGN Travel, after breakfast at the hotel, we take a ferry to cross Keban Dam from Elazığ Meşeli to Tunceli Pertek. We have panoramic views to photograph Pertek Castle, which has gained an island-like appearance due to the dam. In Pertek, we will see the Sungurbey and Çelebi Ağa Mosques, which were rescued from submersion, and continue our journey through Hozat towards Ovacık. Ovacık, located in Tunceli, is surrounded by mountains, representing a unique plain. The Munzur River, which runs through Tunceli, is a popular destination for many tourists due to its natural beauty, agricultural land's active use, and Munzur springs, where we will visit Munzur Springs and Munzur Baba, allowing some free time afterwards. After this visit, we will continue our journey through Munzur Valley, showcasing the gorgeous natural scenery and biodiversity. We will visit Halvori Springs, the source of Halvori water, and bid farewell to Munzur Valley after visiting Fatma Ana Shrine. In Tunceli, we will have lunch and a free time to explore the market before we head back to our hotel in Elazığ for dinner and overnight accommodation.

- On the 6th day of the GAP Munzur Ovacık Kemaliye Arapgir Sivas Tour with DGN Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we board our bus and head from Keban to Arapgir. Full of kerpic and stone houses, streets, historical fabric and nature, Arapgir will impress you. After saying goodbye to Arapgir, we proceed towards Kemaliye. In this district, which took its name from Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's quote “The people of Eğin, you are people who have achieved maturity. Therefore, I give you my name,” we will see Stone Road, which was made by local inhabitants, and read the poem excerpts written by women during the Ottoman period along the Mani Road. We will also have some free time for shopping and tasting the local Lök dessert in Kemaliye's bazaars. Later, we board the bus and head to Divriği via Stone Road. You will be amazed by the scenicjourney through the Dark Canyon formed by the Euphrates River, where there will be an optional boat tour during the program, provided that arrangements are made and the water level is appropriate (extra). After crossing the Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Bridge, we arrive in Divriği.
- We will observe how marble has been transformed into art while exploring the Divriği Ulu Mosque and Darüşşifa, a 13th-century Seljuk Period masterpiece. This structure is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. (If restoration work is completed, we will visit.) After our visit, we head to Kangal to reach the Republic City of Sivas.
