Important Notes

• The tour duration, including the day of departure and return, is 2 Nights 3 Days and includes 2 nights of hotel accommodation.

• Our tour includes guiding, transportation, accommodation, and sightseeing as a package and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, guiding, sightseeing, etc., rights cannot be refunded.

• Child discounts applicable in tour packages are valid for one child only accompanying two adults. Children aged 0-6 may not be provided with a separate bed during hotel accommodation.

• In 3-person hotel accommodations, the 3rd guest generally stays on an extra bed.

• The hotels listed in the program are the preferred accommodation facilities of Dgn Travel. Changes may be made to the standards of the region and hotels, provided that they remain the same, depending on the occupancy. Hotel names, based on availability, will be communicated 48 hours prior to the tour departure upon request.

• The rooms at the hotels are determined by the hotel. No choice can be made between rooms.

• Our rest stops may change in location and service standards based on force majeure circumstances such as density and renovations, while still maintaining similar standards.

• In the tour program, the timing may change as the guide sees fit due to weather, road conditions, crowding at visiting sites, etc.

• Dgn Travel is not responsible for places not visited during the tour due to force majeure (weather, road, crowding at visiting sites, etc.) or if guests do not adhere to the timings given by our guide during the tour. In such cases, no claim can be made by the guest.

• In our tours with flights and buses, guests from other provinces may join the tour at the meeting point at the airport. In such cases, delays may occur at the airport due to flight times.

• A tiered pricing system is applied in all our tours. As the number of reservations within the package increases and the date approaches, the tour prices may gradually increase. Dgn Travel reserves the right to increase prices. In this case, no price can be locked without receiving a prepayment.

• A chair number cannot be promised and guaranteed during reservation. There is no guarantee for notes entered in the reservation. Special seat selections such as front or back are not available.

• The seating arrangement in the vehicle is set up by Dgn Travel Operations based on the order of reservations. In case of objections regarding seat placement, refunds are not possible. All seats in our vehicles have the same standards.

• Extra tours, such as night tours included in the program, are conducted based on the number of people and the availability of personnel. Extra tours along the way will be carried out even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not participate in extra tours will be directed by our guide to rest areas or city centers. Guests not participating in extra tours have accepted to wait at the rest stop.

• In case an extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest will not have any claim. Dgn Travel bears no responsibility in this case.

• Extra tour prices may vary by periods. In such cases, the date of the tour is considered rather than the date of booking. The extra tour price valid for the period in which the tour takes place applies. The guest accepts this by purchasing the tour.

• Dgn Travel is not liable for any material damages that may be caused by guests in all services provided by transport vehicles, hotels, dining areas, and suppliers. Businesses have the right to claim damages caused by guests.

• In cases where children under 18 years of age, who are not considered adults, participate without either or both parents, a consent letter is required to be kept with individuals during travel.

• Guests participating in the tour should carry reports regarding health issues, pregnancy, and any medications they constantly use.

• Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc., regarding the times set for departure points.

• Information regarding arrival times at the end of the tour is estimated, and Dgn Travel is not responsible for delays that may arise due to force majeure.

• Guests will be dropped off on the opposite side of the stops we took them to at the end of the tour. Please do not insist on getting off at a different point with vehicle personnel.

• According to traffic regulations, all guests in the vehicle are required to wear seatbelts throughout their journey; otherwise, Dgn Travel is not responsible.

• Responsibility for all personal belongings in the vehicle lies with the guest during stops, etc.

• Since the first day's tour will start before entering the hotel, please prepare the items you need to have separately.

• Due to the intensity of the program during the tour, it may not always be possible to find banks, currency exchange offices, etc., so it is advisable to be prepared.

• The programs to be implemented may involve long distances. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide in the vehicle.

• Lunches have been prepared with economical menus specific to the region. For lunch and dinner, tables divided into groups will be used depending on the density of the area.

• The starting and ending routes of our tours are determined according to the density of the region. Guests can learn the confirmed starting and ending routes of the tour at least 2 days in advance if they wish.

• If the agency informs the guest that the tour has not reached a sufficient number, the guest can choose to postpone the tour to the next date or cancel it, or participation can be ensured by ticketing at the nearest departure point. In this case, the agency is obliged to inform the guest at least three (3) days in advance via phone, SMS, or email. In such cases, the guest has no claim rights.

• The guest will be refunded any amount paid for cancellations and changes made more than 30 days before the service start date, without question. Cancellations and changes made 29 to 15 days before the tour date will incur a 30% deduction of the reservation fee; 15-7 days before will incur a 50% deduction; and cancellations and changes made 7 days or less before will incur a 100% deduction of the reservation fee.

• Guests who purchase the Cancellation Refund and Assurance Package can cancel the package tour they have purchased without providing a reason up to 72 hours before the tour starts. After cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions, according to the payment method. The Cancellation Refund and Assurance Package does not cover flight tickets.

• Museum cards and entrance fees for museums are not included in the tour price. All museum entrance fees are to be paid by the guests.

 

CANCELLATION REFUND AND ASSURANCE PACKAGE

The Cancellation Refund and Assurance Package allows the guest to cancel or change the package tour purchased, without specifying any reason, up to 72 hours before the tour start date. After cancellation, the total amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions, according to the method of payment. The Cancellation Refund and Assurance Package does not cover flights in tours with flights. For this tour, the Cancellation Refund and Assurance Package is 100 TL.

 

MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE NO. 1618

The range of the Mandatory Travel Insurance No. 1618 covers the bankruptcy of the agency or any reason for the non-provision of the package tour service. It is included in the tour fee. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment costs. Private health insurance is the guest's personal expense.

Our vehicles do not have headphones. We recommend bringing an external charger, as charging your phone in vehicles with TV units may reduce your phone's battery life.

DGN TRAVEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COPIES OF THE TOUR PROGRAM.

Day 1

  • Adana - Stone Bridge - Sabancı Central Mosque - Seyhan Dam Lake - Ramazanoğlu Mansion - Great Clock Tower - Festival Area
  • We start the day with a breakfast break with Dgn Travel for the Adana Orange Blossom Festival and Mersin Tour. After seeing the Historical Stone Bridge located over the Seyhan River in Adana, we head to the Adana Sabancı Central Mosque, one of the most important mosques in the region. The main dome with a diameter of 32 meters represents the 32 Farz (obligatory prayers), the 28 domes in the courtyard correspond to the 28 prophets mentioned in the Quran, the 40 windows in the main dome symbolize the age of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and 40 rakats of prayer, while the 6 minarets, standing 99 meters tall, correspond to Allah's 99 beautiful names. After visiting this architectural marvel, we explore the Ramazanoğlu Mansion, built during the Ramazanoğlu Beylik period.
  • After receiving information from our guide, we take photos of the Great Clock, one of Adana's symbols. We have free time for lunch. Later, we visit the Cinema Museum, which opened in 2011 in the Adana House, where we can find statues, photos, and works of directors, actors, screenwriters, painters, and writers from Adana. Afterward, we proceed to the festival area.
  • We enjoy the festival area with a colorful costume parade, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and street delicacies. We gather at a place and time determined by our guide to head back to our hotel to rest. Dinner will be at our accommodation hotel.

Day 2

  • Silifke - Kız Kalesi (Maiden's Castle) - Kanytelis Ancient City - Cennet Cehennem Caves - Silifke Asthma Cave - Göksu - Mersin
  • On the second day of the Adana Orange Blossom Festival and Mersin Tour with Dgn Travel, after breakfast at the hotel, we board our bus and set off towards Silifke in the land of oranges. We follow the Flamingo Route, listening to the story of Kız Kalesi while taking photos. We visit Kanytelis (Kanlıdivane), an important ancient city of the ancient region of Cilicia, located in Mersin Erdemli, famous for its 100-meter-wide sinkhole. Following this, we head to see the Cennet and Cehennem caves. After enjoying and photographing these natural beauties, we have free time for lunch.
  • Next, we visit the Silifke Asthma Cave in the Narlıkuyu area, which is known for its stalactites and stalagmites and is also used for asthma treatment. After our free time, we gather information about the Silifke Göksu Delta and make our way back to Mersin. Dinner will be at our accommodation hotel.

Day 3

  • Tarsus - Ashab-ı Kehf (Seven Sleepers) Cave - Tarsus Waterfall - Tarsus Houses - Prophet Daniel’s Tomb - St. Paul’s Well - Kırk Kaşık Bedesten - Nusrat Mine Ship
  • On the third day of the Adana Orange Blossom Festival and Mersin Tour with Dgn Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we board our bus and begin our journey to Tarsus, surrounded by the scent of oranges. In Tarsus, we first visit the cave of the Seven Sleepers, a site of great significance in Islam and Christianity.
  • We visit the cave where seven people are believed to have slept for 3 centuries to escape the persecution of idolaters, as mentioned in the Quran, specifically in Surah Al-Kahf, along with their dog. After that, we head to the Tarsus Waterfall, formed by the cascading Berdan (Kydnos) River. We complete our therapy with the sound of the beautiful waterfall and get back into our vehicle.
  • We see the Cleopatra Gate, one of the remaining city entrance gates from Roman times, and receive information. Afterward, we explore the tomb and mosque of Prophet Daniel, who freed the Jews from Babylonian captivity. We also visit Kırk Kaşık Bedesteni, which is known as the White Bazaar in the past, where we have free time for shopping. Later, we see St. Paul’s Well, which has been declared a pilgrimage site in Christianity and contains sections that have survived since ancient times. After receiving information from our guide, we walk through the old streets and houses of Tarsus. We have free time for tasting and shopping local products before heading to a famous tantuni restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we head towards the Nusrat Mine Ship, which changed the course of the naval battles in Çanakkale.
  • The Nusrat Ship, renowned as “the most famous mine ship in the world”, won its title for altering the course of the battle on March 18, 1915. It was sold to a private company in 1962 and sank off the coast of Mersin in 1990. It was salvaged in 1999 and brought to Tarsus in three parts, opening to visitors in 2003. After touring the Nusrat Mine Ship Museum, we board our bus to return to Istanbul, with the scent of oranges still lingering. We conclude the Adana Orange Blossom Festival and Mersin Tour with Dgn Travel, bidding farewell to our valued guests at their drop-off points, hoping to meet again in another Dgn Travel event.
