DAY 1                ISTANBUL – TUNIS – SOUSSE

Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Istanbul counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport, 3 hours before the flight time. After the baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Tunis on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we depart for the city of Sousse with our private bus waiting for us. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour. During our city tour, the Habib Bourguiba statue, the Sousse Medina, the coastline, the port area and the shopping street are among the places to be seen. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time.  Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 2                SOUSSE

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may participate in the extra El Jem & Kairouan & Monastir Tour (90 Euros) organized by our guide. We begin our tour with Kairouan, a holy city that is home to the Great Mosque, considered one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the region, and which ranks fourth in Islam as a pilgrimage site after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. We will then see the impressive remains of North Africa’s largest colosseum in El Jem. After seeing this impressive structure, which was filled with 35,000 spectators watching gladiatorial combats during the region’s heyday, we proceed to Monastir. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour. The Mausoleum of Habib Bourguiba, the former president, the Ribat area and the Monastir Medina are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 3                SOUSSE – TUNIS

After breakfast, we set off for the capital of Tunisia. Guests who wish may participate in the extra Hammamet Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide along the route. The Habib Bourguiba Avenue, described as Tunisia’s “Champs Elysees Boulevard,” Independence Square, the Clock Tower that has become a symbol of the city, and St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, the largest building surviving from Tunisia’s colonial period, are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we set off for the capital. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour. In this city, which is not only the capital of the country but also its political, commercial and cultural center, we will have the opportunity to witness the blend of modern and old Tunisia. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Guests who wish may participate in the extra Bardo Museum Tour (45 Euros) organized by our guide. In addition to its rich marble collection featuring Roman gods and emperors, the museum is also home to one of the largest collections of Roman mosaics in the world. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

 

DAY 4                TUNIS – ISTANBUL

After breakfast, free time (check-out procedures must be completed by 10:00 at the latest). Guests who wish may participate in the extra Sidi Bou Said & Carthage Tour (75 Euros) organized by our guide. Our first stop, Sidi Bou Said, is a charming town famous for its cobblestone streets and blue-and-white houses. Following a photography break accompanied by Mediterranean views, we set off for Carthage. After visiting Carthage, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, was founded by the Phoenicians and was once one of the centers of the Roman Empire in Africa, our tour comes to an end. After our tour, transfer to the airport. Following the baggage and ticket procedures, return to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight.
