**DAY 1: ISTANBUL – COLOMBO**
Our journey begins with our meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. We depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK 730 at 19:35 with a direct flight to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Overnight is spent on the plane with refreshments and rest.
**DAY 2: PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA**
Upon our arrival in Colombo at 06:10 local time in the morning, we begin our tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. Our first stop is the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where we can watch elephants bathing by the river. Then we visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, which fascinates visitors with its enormous Buddha statues and ancient wall paintings. At the end of the day, we settle in the Sigiriya area. Accommodation: Camellia Resort & Spa (or similar).
**DAY 3: SIGIRIYA LION ROCK AND ANURADHAPURA**
Early in the morning, we climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as “Lion Rock”; from these ancient palace ruins at an altitude of 200 meters, we admire the island’s lush nature. In the afternoon, we head to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first capital, to visit the sacred Bodhi tree, one of the oldest trees in the world, and the giant stupas.

**DAY 4: MATALE AND KANDY CULTURAL TOUR**
Departing from our hotel, we visit the Matale Spice Garden, where exotic spices are grown, and learn about the production of plants from cinnamon to cardamom. Then we arrive in Kandy, the cultural capital of the island. Here we visit the Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa), which is very sacred for Buddhists and is believed to house the tooth of Buddha. Accommodation: Royal Kandyan Hotel (or similar).
**DAY 5: TEA FACTORY AND NUWARA ELIYA**
After breakfast, we travel through waterfalls and endless tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya, one of the highest points on the island. Along the way, we stop at a Tea Factory to see the processing of world-famous Ceylon tea and enjoy a fresh tea tasting. In the city known as “Little England,” we explore colonial architecture around Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. Accommodation: Araliya Red Hotel (or similar).
**DAY 6: NOSTALGIC TRAIN JOURNEY AND COLOMBO**
We begin the day with a panoramic train journey on the Ambewela-Badarawela line, one of the most beautiful railway routes in the world. Passing through misty mountains and local villages, we arrive in the capital, Colombo. In the evening, we get the chance to see Colombo’s lively streets and modern side.

**DAY 7: COLOMBO CITY TOUR AND NEGOMBO**
In the morning, we take a panoramic city tour of Colombo, visiting Independence Square, Beira Lake, and Gangaramaya Temple. Then we continue to Negombo, the charming coastal town that will be our final stop before the flight. Here we see St. Mary’s Church and enjoy the sunset with a farewell dinner on the shores of the Indian Ocean. After midnight, our transfer to the airport begins.

**DAY 8: COLOMBO – ISTANBUL**
After completing our airport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 07:40 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 731. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at 14:15 local time and complete our magical journey through Sri Lanka.
