1st Day Istanbul - Tbilisi (Breakfast) We recommend that you arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at least 3 hours before your flight... Departure to the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, with the scheduled flight PC 314 of Pegasus Airlines, at 00:55. Arrival in Tbilisi at 04:05, transfer to the place where we will have our breakfast after necessary processes. After our Georgian breakfast, we start our Tbilisi Tour. In this beautiful city, which always surprises its visitors with what it offers, we first see; Narikala Fortress, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theatre, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, Mother Georgia Monument, Liberty Square which is the main square of the city, the Parliament Building, the Archaeological Museum which houses important historical treasures of the country, the Fine Arts Museum which has more than 3500 works, the Kashueti St. George Church, a replica of the Samtavisi Cathedral built in the 11th century, the National Museum of Georgia which hosts the country’s important artifacts, the Opera and Ballet Theatre which hosts important performances, MoMa Museum known for its sculptures and temporary exhibitions, the Historical Books Museum known for its old books and manuscripts, the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Mirror Hall, and we have a panoramic view of Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, which is currently the largest religious structure in Georgia, the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali known as ‘The Rider King’ located on Metekhi Hill, and the Metekhi Virgin Mary Church with its foundations dating back to 455. After the free time we will provide, we transfer to our hotel and check out of the rooms. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the city at your leisure. 2nd Day Tbilisi - Bodbe Monastery - Signaghi - Tbilisi Narikala and Dinner Show with Caucasian Night After breakfast, we start a wonderful day together. We head towards Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia's most important religious monuments, which pleases visitors with its architecture and surrounding nature (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we head to ‘the City of Love’ Sighnaghi (approximately 15 km). This lovely place, which is a tourist attraction due to its natural beauty, restored charming stone buildings, and scenic surroundings, includes highlights such as the Sighnaghi Fortress dubbed ‘the Georgian Wall’ with its walls exceeding 4 km and offering magnificent views of nature, St. George Church, the city center with its charming and well-maintained historical buildings, and the ‘Doctor on Donkey Back’ statue, made in memory of a beloved village doctor who helped many people by traveling to each village by donkey. During our city tour, we will travel with special electric vehicles; we will take photo breaks at Kakheti panorama point, Signaghi panorama point, and St. George tower while enjoying a stroll along the city walls that offer unique views. During the free time we will provide, our guests can freely explore this delightful town, shop, and have their lunch. Afterward, we head back to Tbilisi (approximately 10 km). Upon arrival, we begin our walking tour; we will see Orbeliani Park famous for its Flower Market and Covered Market, the restored 13 significant buildings along Atoneli Street, and Gabriadze Neighborhood. We will visit the European Square, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari Region, the Georgian Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral. Then, we will visit the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Puppet Theatre and the Angel Clock Tower, and walk through Jan Shardeni Street. During the free time at this lovely square, you will have the opportunity to taste local flavors in authentic cafes. We visit Bethlehem Street, which is the center of the Jewish Community in Georgia and hosts many artifacts. Then we go to the Fortress District where the symbol of the city, Narikala, is located. We will take a short trip by cable car to see the Kartvlis Deda Monument, also known as the Mother of Georgia statue, built in 1958 to celebrate Georgia's 1500th anniversary. You will also have the chance to take panoramic photos of the city from here. Returning by cable car to the city, we head to the historic Abanotubani, which has the sulfur baths that have been in the city since the 4th century BC. We see the Cuma Mosque, also known as ‘Çifte Mihrab’, built by the Ottomans in 1724, and Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We will descend from the famous Turning Stairs and take a stroll through the ‘Market Underground Bazaar’ where we will have some free time. Afterwards, we will head to our dinner location where you can also witness breathtaking Caucasian folklore performances and enjoy a menu of Georgian delicacies. At the end of this wonderful day, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. 3rd Day Tbilisi - Chronology Monument - Jvari - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Gori - Kutaisi After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we go on a short journey to the Chronology Monument of Georgia (approximately 15 km). Located on the Keeni Hill, this monument, whose construction began in 1985 and is never-ending due to the addition of significant current events, is a very rare work in the world for this characteristic. Our next stop on the tour is Jvari (approximately 20 km), built in the 6th century on a high hill overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura Rivers, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Jvari Monastery is one of Georgia's most important historical and religious treasures. With its architectural beauty and breathtaking views, it has been the center of many significant events throughout history. After our visit here, we head to Mtskheta, Georgia's previous capital (approximately 20 km), also known as ‘UNESCO City’. In this ancient city, one of the oldest settlements in the world, we will see the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, considered one of the most sacred religious buildings in Georgia. During the free time we will have, you can complete your shopping of world-famous Georgian wines and other souvenirs and freely discover this fairy-tale city. After that, we head to Uplistsikhe (approximately 65 km), which resembles Cappadocia with its cave-carved houses. Then, we continue our way to Gori (approximately 15 km). Upon arrival, we visit the Stalin Museum, which houses numerous items and photographs from the era of Joseph Stalin, who transformed the USSR into an industrial and military giant. After which, we will have free time in Gori to explore this charming city at your leisure. Our final stop of the day is Kutaisi, situated on a hill with panoramic views of the Rioni River and Imereti Plain. (approximately 150 km) Upon arrival, we check into our hotel. 4th Day Kutaisi - Batumi After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we discover Kutaisi, one of Georgia's largest and oldest cities, known for its natural and historical beauties. We will visit Gelati Monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Bagrati Cathedral, dating back to the 11th century and housing the bones of Saint Nicholas known as Santa Claus, the Prometheus Cave, which contains large lakes and rivers, the most magnificent structure in the city, the Opera House, and the Colchis Fountain consisting of 30 statues. After the tour, we head to Batumi, famous for its Mediterranean-like scenery (approximately 160 km). Upon arrival, during our Batumi Tour; we will see the Medea Statue holding the Golden Fleece, located in Europe Square, which is considered the heart of the city, the Astronomical Clock on the same road, Piazza which is a replica of those in Italy and recognized as the prettiest square in Georgia, St. Nicholas Church built by Greeks during the Ottoman period as a gift for the sultan, Batumi Boulevard which stretches 7 km along the coast, the Miracle Park recognized as the finest example of modern Georgian architecture, Porto Franco Port, which has historically been significant and is now a tourist attraction, the replica of the famous Clock Tower in Izmir, the statue representing the story of Ali and Nino, who couldn’t unite due to their religious differences, Batumi Theatre Square, and the Poseidon/Neptune Statue, and the Theatre Building from 1866 are some of the places we will see. After the tour, we check into our hotel. 5th Day Batumi - Istanbul After breakfast, you have free time to explore this beautiful city at your leisure. Rooms must be vacated by 12:00. At the time determined by our guide, we transfer to the airport. After necessary processes, we depart to Istanbul with the scheduled flight PC 311 of Pegasus Airlines at 15:55. Arrival at 17:00.
