Day 1 ISTANBUL – ROME
Meet in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the Outbound Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket processes, depart for Rome. Arrive in Rome according to local time. Transfer to Rome with our private vehicle and guide. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour of Rome. During the tour, see the Vatican (San Pietro), Castel San't Angelo Castle, the remains of Circo Massimo ancient stadium, and Baroque period streets by bus. Take a short photo break at the Colosseum. After the tour, free time in the afternoon. Options available for guests who wish to join an extra evening tour of Rome’s famous squares and streets (45€), where we will see sights we haven't seen before. Return to the hotel after the tour and stay overnight.
Day 2 ROME
After breakfast, free day. Those interested can join an optional tour (95€) with our guide to Lake Albano & Nemi villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet, a region of natural beauty favored by the Popes during summer. Explore Nemi village renowned for its mountain strawberries. Continue shopping at Castel Romano Designer Outlet for well-known brands. Later in the day, guests who wish can join another optional tour (65€) of Rome's monuments and masterpieces, including the ancient Pantheon, Piazza Navona with its baroque fountain, the Trevi Fountain where tossing a coin is said to guarantee a return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, Castel San't Angelo, and bridges. Walk through Rome’s historic sites, immersing in its ancient stories and history. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3 ROME – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
After breakfast, depart for Florence. Upon arrival, take a panoramic city tour of Florence’s historic streets and squares, ending at Piazza Della Repubblica. Afterwards, guests can continue exploring Florence on foot with our guide and join an optional Renaissance Art Tour (45€) to learn about Florence’s history and key figures like the Medici. The tour includes visits to Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria with its Hercules and David statues, Uffizi Gallery, historic Ponte Vecchio, Medici corridor, Dante Alighieri’s house, and the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore) with its famous “Cennino” doors and the Baptistery. Transfer to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4 FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, a free day or optional full Toskana tour (145€) including Pisa, San Gimignano, and Volterra. In Pisa, see the Leaning Tower and Pisa Cathedral in Miracoli Square. In San Gimignano, visit the medieval town known for its towers and local shops. In Volterra, explore the ancient Etruscan, Roman, and medieval sites, including the Roman theater, Priori Square, and the 12th-century Volterra Cathedral, with time for shopping and relaxing in local cafes. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 5 FLORENSE (MONTECATINI) – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Depart for Istanbul with the scheduled Pegasus flight. Arrive in Istanbul and end of the tour.
Need to Know
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of it.
2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip; Wtatil reserves the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days before the travel date. In such a case, the cancellation notice is communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded. For additional services purchased outside the tour; if the internal connection flight purchased from Wtatil is included, it will also be reimbursed. Visa services, travel health insurance, and visas applied on behalf of the guest are non-refundable once used; if no visa application has been made, these services and travel insurance will be canceled and refunded. If the guest obtained the internal connection flight from a different provider independent of Wtatil, and the tour is canceled by Wtatil, no compensation can be claimed from Wtatil. The guest accepts the potential financial and emotional losses resulting from the tour being canceled, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not achieved, Wtatil may, in good faith, choose not to cancel the tour. In this case, the tour will be arranged individually for the guest, and the included guide service will only cover the outbound and return transfers.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Guests can cancel without penalty by notifying Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the tour departure date, provided that the airline tickets paid for and/or committed to by Wtatil are excluded. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the start, penalties apply: if less than 31 days remain until the start, 50% of the remaining tour fee; if 15 days or less remain, the full tour fee must be paid as penalty. Additional services like internal connections, visa services, and travel insurance are subject to different conditions depending on the cancellation period; prior inquiry is required. Wtatil does not guarantee refunds for additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
5- The schedule and times of the tours in the program may be changed by the guide based on museum and site opening/closing statuses and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during tours.
6- Panoramic city tours included in the package are conducted from the vehicle with guide narration, covering general city introductions and museum/excavation site entrances up to 2-3 hours. These tours and other scheduled tours may be altered or not conducted if sites are closed by local authorities or due to weather conditions, for which Wtatil is not responsible. Some tours may be done via public transport or on foot due to restrictions.
7- Our guide may modify the schedule of city and additional tours based on guest participation and site closures. This also applies to changes in flight times.
8- For tours on Speedboats, guests should avoid eating heavy meals immediately before boarding or drinking excessive water. Those with stomach, back, or neck issues, and pregnant guests, should inform guides of their condition.
9- Services indicated as included in the price (such as certain tours or meals) are non-refundable if not utilized.
Flights
10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline; in case of disputes, Turkish laws along with the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention apply.
11- Flights subject to schedule changes or delays; Wtatil is obliged to notify guests of changes promptly. Guests accept the risk of flight schedule changes/cancellations when purchasing the tour.
12- Children aged 0-2 only pay for airport taxes.
13- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight Ticket is not used, the return flight may be canceled by the airline.
14- Participants on flight tours are responsible for check-in and boarding. These must be completed personally by guests at the airport from airline counters or online before the flight.
15- Last-minute delays or gate changes are announced via public address and display screens at airports; guests should monitor these themselves.
16- Guests must be at the designated airport at the specified time for participation; those who miss check-in or boarding cannot participate, and Wtatil is not responsible. Rescheduling or obtaining new tickets and transfers required due to missed flights are the guest's responsibility and cost.
17- The standard weight limit for checked baggage on Turkish outbound flights is 20 kg; this may vary by airline and destination. For domestic flights within the destination country, the limit may be 15 kg. Excess baggage rules are determined by airlines and are not Wtatil’s responsibility.
18- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets (business or first class) after issuance can do so based on availability with the airline, subject to the airline’s policies. No guarantees are provided for mile upgrades; verify whether the tickets can be upgraded before purchasing.
19- Some airlines may charge extra for meals and online check-in services.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil is not responsible for changes or cancellations made directly by the guest with the hotel. Cancellation policies will then apply.
21- If hotel names are not specified and only category information is provided in the program, or if options are offered for the same destination, guests will be notified at least 48 hours before departure.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther from specified locations; guests will be informed at least 15 days prior.
23- When registering for the tour, guests must accurately provide information from their passport including name, date of birth, and passport number, as tickets are issued based on these details. Incorrect information may lead to ticket cancellation or change penalties borne by the guest.
24- To use your mobile phones abroad, ensure before departure from Turkey that your phone is unlocked and contact your service provider for verification.
25- Hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.
26- Wtatil will communicate special requests regarding rooms (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. These are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- Breakfast served at hotels is generally continental, consisting of limited options like butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a dedicated hall for groups.
28- Double rooms may sometimes have a double bed instead of two separate beds. Many European hotels offer beds that can be combined if necessary.
29- Child and extra bed policies vary according to each hotel’s room types.
30- Extra beds and cribs are provided upon request and subject to hotel availability and approval.
31- Capacity for extra beds or cribs in the room is limited to one (maximum).
32- In triple rooms, additional beds usually consist of one large bed plus one foldable or coach bed. The third bed in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Guests accept that these arrangements may cause crowding and understand the bed types used.
33- Hotel reservations may incur extra charges if the number of children or their ages are incorrectly declared; responsibility falls on the guest for incorrect declarations. Hotels may request ID for age verification.
34- In reservations with 2 adults + 1 child, the child may not have a separate bed. Child rates apply only when the child stays with two adults. Discounts are valid only for children in the corresponding age group sharing a room with two adults.
35- Currency fluctuations during the day are reflected in prices in TL. Exchange rates at the time of payment are applicable. Additional services purchased at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) may incur extra costs paid directly at the hotel.
36- Some countries apply different city, tourism, or local taxes. These are collected at entry or exit points by the hotel from guests.
37- Distances provided in programs are map-based; travel time may vary depending on traffic, weather, country conditions, road works, and other factors.
38- Wtatil may change the order of cities in the itinerary or the main airline for the program without altering its content if deemed necessary or in compulsory circumstances.
39- Personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports, or IDs are the responsibility of the guest; Wtatil is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items. Costs related to locating and returning lost items are borne by the owner.
40- Guests must carry their travel health insurance policies, medications, and reports if necessary.
41- Additional expenses at the hotel (such as official ID, passport, credit card, or cash deposits) may be requested at check-in. Refunds of deposits at check-out are made between the hotel and guest; Wtatil has no involvement.
Visa and Passport
42- Visa is not required for Turkish citizens.
43- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end date of the travel.
44- To get entry/exit stamps at customs and border crossings, passports must have at least 2 blank pages.
45- Visa exemption for entry to the countries in this tour does not guarantee entry; border officials may refuse entry or exit. Wtatil is not responsible for such situations; the responsibility lies with the traveler.
46- Guests who are non-Turkish citizens or hold dual citizenship and will use another country’s passport must consult the relevant consulates regarding visa requirements; Wtatil is not responsible for any consequences stemming from non-compliance.
47- Passports that are torn, worn, wet, or damaged must be renewed to avoid issues at border crossings. Responsibility for issues caused by damaged passports lies with the guest.
48- Minors under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that border officials may request authorization documentation from the parent(s). Guests and parents are advised to be prepared for this.
