1. Day ISTANBUL – ROME

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After luggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Rome. Arrival in Rome local time. We depart for Rome with our private vehicle and guide awaiting us. After arrival, we have a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our tour, we see some of the city's most precious treasures, including Vatican (San Pietro), Castel San't Angelo (Castle of the Angels), and the ruins of the Circo Massimo stadium from ancient Rome, as well as the streets from the Baroque period. We have a short photo break at the Colosseum, after which the tour ends and we have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, guests who wish can participate in the extra night tour of Rome (45€), where we will see famous squares we haven't seen before and enjoy strolling through the streets. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.


2. Day ROME

After breakfast, a free day. Guests who wish can join our guide for an extra tour of the mesmerizing nature of Lake Albano & Nemi Roman Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet (95€). We visit the region known for its natural beauty where the Popes spent their summers and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries, which you will want to live in continuously. After this tour, guests wishing can participate in the extra Tour of Roman Monuments and Masterpieces (65€), where we will explore some of the oldest monuments in Rome, the city that has witnessed 2300 years of history that shaped European Civilization, including the ancient Pantheon temple, the famous Piazza Navona with its Baroque architecture and famous fountain, the Trevi Fountain (where it is believed that those who throw a coin into it will return to Rome), and the famous Spanish Steps with street artists, along with Castel San't Angelo - The Castle of the Angels and its bridge. Get ready to lose yourself in the ancient stories and historical texture of Rome in this step-by-step tour with your guide. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.


3. Day ROME – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, we start with a panoramic city tour, photographing the historic streets and squares of Florence, which we end at Piazza Della Republica (Republic Square). After a short break, those who wish can continue to explore the capital of the Renaissance, UNESCO World Heritage Florence, with our guide. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to participate in the extra Tour of Renaissance Works & Medici’s Path (45€). In this tour, we will meticulously examine the landmarks of this historic city with the life stories of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance, including the Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled, the Piazza Della Signoria, which hosts the masterpieces Hercule and David, the Uffizi Gallery, the oldest bridge in the city - the historic Ponte Vecchio, and the Medici Corridor, alongside Dante Alighieri’s House, the famous writer of the Divine Comedy from the 13th century, and Santa Maria del Fiore Dome, which has the highest dome in Italy and is famous for its Baptistery known as the “Gates of Paradise.” After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.


4. Day FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)

After breakfast, a free day. Guests who wish can join our guide for the Great Tuscany tour (145€). This tour will coverPisa - San Gimignano - Volterra. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, which is recognized as one of the most important historical monuments in the world. During our panoramic tour, we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and the Miracoli Square, where willing guests can take photos. San Gimignano (The City of 13 Towers) includes a visit to the Piazza della Cisterna, recognized as the center of the city built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Shopping opportunities are plenty here at affordable prices. Volterra is a medieval walled town steeped in history and has been featured in Hollywood films and series (Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone, etc.). This unique Tuscan town with its roots in Etruscan and Roman history offers many options for visitors. During our visit to Volterra, we will walk through its medieval narrow streets and squares with stunning views of the Tuscany Valley. Highlights include the Roman Theatre, remains of the forum area, the town's main square (Piazza dei Priori), and the Volterra Cathedral built in the 12th century. During free time, you can taste local cheeses and famous wines from the little shops, or enjoy your coffee at the historic cafes in the square.After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.


5. Day FLORENCE - BOLOGNA - ISTANBUL

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Departure with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Istanbul and arrival in Istanbul local time marking the end of our tour.

Need to Know

GENERAL TERMS

1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program.

2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the date of the tour. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic connection flights purchased from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest, visa services, and travel health insurance for which a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using the health insurance will not be refundable as these services are considered used. If the guest has purchased the domestic connection flight from a different service provider independent of Wtatil, the guest cannot request any refund from Wtatil in the event of the cancellation of the trip by Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance any financial or moral losses arising from the cancellation of the tour at the time of purchasing the tour and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.

3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil has the right to show goodwill and not cancel the tour. In this case, the guiding service included in the package will only cover the airport transfers for international arrivals and departures.

Cancellation and Modification

4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty if they notify Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the departure date, except for airline tickets that have been paid and/or committed by Wtatil. In the case of less than 31 days remaining until the start of the trip, the guest can cancel by paying a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee, and if cancellation is made 15 days or less before the start date, the guest can cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. If a cancellation request is made, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connection, visa services, travel health insurance, etc. may vary depending on the time of the cancellation request, so it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund. Wtatil does not guarantee any obligation regarding the refunds of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

5- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide according to the status of museums, archaeological sites being open/closed, and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are conducted through the vehicle with guide narration, not including museum or archaeological site entries, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours will not take place if they cannot occur due to local authorities not permitting access on the respective days and times, or if blocked roads or any event cause closure, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot if access by vehicle is not allowed.

7- Our guide has the right to change the days of city tours and/or additional tours depending on the number of participants and the status of the museum or archaeological site being closed. This also applies to any changes that may occur in flight times.

8- Important considerations for our tours done with Speed Boats; heavy meals should not be consumed immediately before boarding, and excessive amounts of water should not be ingested. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, should inform their guides of their conditions.

9- There is no refund for participation in services such as tours or meals included in the prices that are not utilized.

About Flights

10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in the case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish law, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will be applied.

11- Delays or changes in flight times can occur on scheduled and charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times when purchasing the trip.

12- Infants aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax.

13- According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of a purchased round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.

14- Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in package flights are personal processes and must be completed by the guests at the airports before the flight, at the relevant airline counters, or online through the airline's websites.

15- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at airports and shown on information boards at the location. This information should be followed by the guests personally.

16- Passengers who are not present at the indicated airport at the times specified in accordance with airline rules, do not complete their check-in and boarding processes on time, or do not board the aircraft despite completing the check-in and boarding processes on time, will not be held responsible by Wtatil if they miss their flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss the flight are covered by them.

17- The general baggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights within the destination country, this baggage weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.

18- For guests who wish to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures can be carried out based on the availability of the airline (please check with the airline to which your membership belongs) after the tickets are issued. A mileage guarantee is not provided for every flight. Please check whether the tickets for the program are of an upgradeable class.

19- Some airlines may charge extra fees for food and beverage services and online check-in.

Other Matters

20- Wtatil will not take responsibility for any changes or cancellation made directly by the guest in communication with the hotel. In this case, Wtatil's cancellation conditions will apply.

21- In cases where the hotel(s) are only provided with category information without specific names in the tour program, and/or when options are presented for the same destination, Wtatil will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip.

22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located farther than the indicated locations or distances. In such cases, Wtatil will inform the guest 15 days before the tour departure.

23- During the registration process for the purchased tour; the guest must accurately enter/declare their name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and passport number into the system. Plane tickets will be issued based on this information. Penalties for any ticket cancellations or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

24- To use your mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey to ensure that your phone is activated for international use.

25- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.

26- Requests related to the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Efforts will be made to meet the guest's preferences regarding reserved rooms based on the hotel's availability. The realization of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.

27- Breakfast offered at hotels may differ from the rich Turkish breakfast tradition. It is typically served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room designated for groups.

28- In some cases, instead of a double bed, twin beds may be available. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be combined when necessary.

29- The child and extra bed policy may vary depending on each hotel and room type.

30- Any additional bed and baby cot will be provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability, and must be approved by the hotel.

31- The capacity for additional beds or baby cots in the room is one (maximum).

32- There is an extra bed application in triple rooms, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in these rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of folding beds or beds known as coach beds. Our guests accept that they have been informed of the possible overcrowding and bed types due to additional beds that will be added to standard rooms for triple room and/or child reservations.

33- If the number of children and their ages residing with adults in hotel reservations is incorrectly stated by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to verify the ages of children.

34- In reservations of 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be an extra bed for the child. Child prices are valid only if the child is accommodated alongside two adults. Child discounts apply only for "one child" in accordance with the age group staying with two adults.

35- Daily exchange rate fluctuations are reflected in the TL prices. The rates valid at the time of payment apply. Additional requests, some extra services received at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges set by the hotel. These costs are not included in the payment at the time of purchase and are paid directly at the hotel during your stay.

36- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes imposed will be collected by the hotel from the guest at the time of entry or exit.

37- The distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the visited country, roadworks, and other circumstances.

38- Wtatil may change the order of the cities in the program or the main airline to be flown without altering the content of the program in case of mandatory situations or when deemed necessary.

39- Guests' personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/ID cards are under their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for items that are forgotten/lost/stolen. If forgotten items are found, the expenses incurred during the delivery to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.

40- Guests participating in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports related to health issues with them.

41- A photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel upon check-in for any possible extra charges. The return of the deposit requested at check-out is an operation between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention in this matter.

Visa and Passport

42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.

43- Our guests' passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

44- To ensure that an entry-exit stamp can be affixed to your passport at customs crossings/border gates, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages.

45- Being exempt from a visa requirement for entering the countries in this tour does not mean that entry to/exit from the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry/leaving the country, and Wtatil is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger.

46- Non-Turkish citizens or those who hold dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using another country's passport must consult the relevant consulates to understand the visa procedures applied by the country they will be traveling to; otherwise, Wtatil will not be held responsible for any resulting outcomes.

47- To avoid issues with customs police at the border gate of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports; passports need to be renewed. In case of failure to do so, the responsibility lies with the passenger.

48- Our guests under 18 years old may be asked for a document showing the joint consent of their parents when traveling alone or with only one parent during country entries/exits, so it is advisable for guests under 18 and their parents to pay attention to this issue.
