DAY 1: ISTANBUL - SANTIAGO (CHILE) 20:35

Today, we are departing for Santiago to explore the fascinating nature and culture of Latin America. We meet at Istanbul Airport at 17:30 to complete our luggage and passport procedures. Afterwards, we are taking the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight TK15, departing for Santiago at 20:35. Our flight will last approximately 19 hours, with a technical stop in São Paulo. Overnight on the plane.

DAY 2: ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO & CITY TOUR

We arrive at Santiago Airport in the morning. After completing our passport and baggage procedures, we are greeted by our local guide and begin our city tour. Santiago, the capital of Chile, is one of the most impressive cities in Latin America with its historical and modern architecture. We explore the Plaza de Armas Square, walking to the presidential palace La Moneda, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and historical buildings. Then, we ascend San Cristobal Hill to enjoy one of the city's most beautiful panoramic views. Here we can take great photos while observing Santiago from above.

We will have lunch at a traditional restaurant where we can taste Chile’s famous seafood. After lunch, we head to Santa Lucia Hill for a pleasant walk through the historical and natural beauties of the city. At the end of the day, we are transferred to our hotel to check in and settle into our rooms. During our free time in the evening, guests can explore Santiago's local markets and restaurants at their leisure. Overnight at Hotel Plaza San Francisco, Santiago (4-star).

DAY 3: VIÑA DEL MAR & VALPARAISO TOUR

After breakfast, we travel towards the Pacific coast to explore Chile's most famous beach cities. Our first stop is Viña del Mar, a popular holiday destination known for its colorful gardens, beautiful beaches, and elegant summer homes. Here, we see the city's symbol, the Flower Clock (Reloj de Flores), and enjoy a walk along the beach, savoring the ocean views.

For lunch, we have the opportunity to taste the best seafood dishes in a local restaurant by the seaside. After lunch, we move on to Valparaiso, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its colorful houses, artistic streets, and historic funiculars, we will explore street art and cultural heritage, visiting Pablo Neruda's house, La Sebastiana.

At the end of the day, we return to Santiago and check in at our hotel. Guests who wish may enjoy their evening at local restaurants in Santiago or explore the nightlife. Overnight at Hotel Plaza San Francisco, Santiago (4-star).

DAY 4: FLIGHT FROM SANTIAGO TO CALAMA & BOLIVIA BORDER CROSSING & UYUNI

Early in the morning, we depart from our hotel and move to Santiago Airport. We take LATAM Airlines' scheduled flight, departing Santiago at 06:01 and arriving in Calama at 08:09 after approximately a 2-hour flight.

At Calama Airport, we board our private vehicle and head to the Bolivia border. This overland journey will take about 6 hours while we enjoy the magnificent views of the Andes Mountains. We will be accompanied by desert landscapes, volcanoes, and wide plains along the way.

We will cross the Chile-Bolivia border through Ollagüe. After completing our passport procedures, we will change vehicles upon arrival at the Bolivia border and transfer to 4x4 off-road vehicles (5-6 person Land Cruiser Jeeps).

After crossing the border, we head directly to Uyuni. Due to the high altitude, you may feel slightly fatigued, so it is advised to drink plenty of water and wear comfortable clothing. The journey will take approximately 3-4 hours, and we will arrive in Uyuni in the late afternoon.

Upon arrival, we check into our hotel. After a short rest, we embark on a sunset tour at Salar de Uyuni. Here, we will have the opportunity to witness a magnificent sunset over the seemingly infinite white scenery of the salt flat. The reflections of the sky will make this natural wonder even more enchanting.

After the tour, we return to the hotel for dinner and free time to rest.

DAY 5: SALAR DE UYUNI EXPLORATION TOUR & SALT HOTEL VISIT

This morning, we wake up to a breathtaking view in Uyuni. After breakfast, we set out for a full-day tour to explore Salar de Uyuni, one of Bolivia’s most impressive natural wonders, via 4x4 vehicles.

First, we visit the Uyuni Train Cemetery (Cementerio de Trenes). This unique area showcases the remnants of Bolivia’s industrial past and rusted locomotives from the 19th century. It's a must-see for photography enthusiasts!

Then we head to Colchani village to observe the local people's traditional salt production processes. There is also a small local market where we can buy handmade salt products.

We then continue toward the heart of Salar de Uyuni. We will walk in the endless white expanse and take unique photos amidst mesmerizing landscapes, enjoying the reflections. During the rainy season, this area transforms into the world’s largest natural mirror, while in the dry season, hexagonal patterned salt flats welcome us.

We will have a picnic lunch in the middle of Salar de Uyuni. Surrounded by nature and delightful scenery, we will enjoy a pleasant break.

Next, we will visit Incahuasi Island (Cactus Island) to enjoy the magnificent scenery and the giant cacti. After exploring this extraordinary natural wonder, which changes throughout the year, we will return to our hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is free and for relaxation.

DAY 6: FLIGHT FROM UYUNI TO LA PAZ & CITY TOUR IN LA PAZ

This morning after breakfast, we head to Uyuni Airport. We take a flight with Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) at 09:15 to La Paz and arrive at 10:15 after approximately a 1-hour flight.

Upon arrival, we begin exploring Bolivia’s capital and the highest capital city in the world (3,640 meters), La Paz. Our first stop is Plaza Murillo, where we see the Bolivia Government Palace, the Congress Building, and La Paz Cathedral. We then proceed to San Francisco Church and Calle Jaén, known for its well-preserved colonial streets with small museums and colorful houses.

The next part of our tour is a visit to the Witches’ Market (Mercado de las Brujas). Here, we experience an interesting market where locals sell mystical and healing herbs, dried llama fetuses, charms, and objects related to traditional Andean culture.

We take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we embark on a Cable Car Tour for panoramic views of the city. La Paz boasts the largest cable car network in South America, offering a magnificent experience to view the city from above.

At the end of the day, we are transferred to our hotel. Our dinner is arranged at a local restaurant.

DAY 7: ENVIRONMENTAL TOURS NEAR LA PAZ - VALLEY OF THE MOON & TIWANAKU ANCIENT CITY

After breakfast, we begin today's tour with a visit to the Valley of the Moon (Valle de la Luna), located about 10 km from La Paz, known for its rock formations resembling the moon's surface. This natural wonder is renowned for its unusual rock structures shaped by wind and rain erosion. We will walk here to closely observe nature's amazing power.

Next, we head to Tiwanaku Ancient City, one of Bolivia’s most significant archaeological sites. Tiwanaku Civilization existed before the Incas and is one of South America's most mysterious cultures, listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here, we will explore important structures such as the “Gate of the Sun” (Puerta del Sol), Monolith Statues, the Akapana Pyramid, and the Kalasasaya Temple. Our guide will help us learn about the mysteries of the Tiwanaku culture.

We will have lunch at a restaurant near the ancient city. After lunch, we will have free time, and guests who wish can visit the souvenir shops in the area.

After the tour, we return to La Paz and check into our hotel again. Our dinner is included in the package and we will have it at a local restaurant.

DAY 8: LA PAZ - PUNO (PERU) & TITICACA LAKE - UROS ISLANDS TOUR

This morning, after breakfast at our hotel, we embark on an unforgettable overland journey from Bolivia to Peru. We leave La Paz with our private tour vehicle towards the Peru border. We will enjoy a pleasant ride with stunning views of the Andes Mountains along the way.

Upon reaching the border, we will complete the required passport procedures and enter Peru. After about a 2-hour journey, we will arrive in Puno, located on the shores of the world’s highest lake, Lake Titicaca.

After arrival, we have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we take a boat trip to explore the Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca.

The Uros Islands are made entirely from reeds and consist of a group of floating islands, showcasing the traditional lifestyle of the Uros people. Our guide will explain how the Uros people build their islands, sustain their livelihoods, and fish on the lake. We will also have free time to see local handmade products and shop.

After the boat trip, we are transferred to our lakeside hotel in Puno. We will have dinner at a local restaurant, tasting the delicacies of Peruvian cuisine.

DAY 9: PUNO - CUSCO OVERLAND JOURNEY

This morning, after breakfast at our hotel, we embark on a pleasant overland journey along one of Peru’s most impressive routes, from Puno to Cusco. The approximately 7-hour drive will include short stops to experience local culture and explore magnificent Incan ruins.

Our first stop will be the Raqchi Archaeological Site. Here, we will visit the Wiracocha Temple, one of the largest temples of the Inca civilization. Our guide will provide information about the temple’s huge stone walls and the intricate details of Incan architecture.

Next, we stop in Andahuaylillas Village to visit the Andahuaylillas Church, known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Andes". Famous for its Baroque-style decorations, gold leaf inlays, and historical frescoes, this church is considered one of the most impressive colonial works in South America.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant. After this, we continue our journey and reach Cusco in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, we head directly to our hotel to check-in. After a long and busy journey, we will have free time for guests to rest. Dinner is not included in the program; guests can explore the city at their leisure or spend time in the hotel.

DAY 10: CUSCO CITY TOUR & NEARBY EXCURSIONS (LUNCH INCLUDED)

This morning, after breakfast at our hotel, we set out for a full-day exploration tour in Cusco and its surroundings. As the former capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is rich in historical and architectural treasures and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our first stop will be Plaza de Armas (Main Square). This area is famous for historical structures built over Inca temples when the Spaniards arrived. Here, we will visit Cusco Cathedral, known for its magnificent artworks and gold decorations from the Spanish Colonial period.

After leaving Plaza de Armas, we head to Korikancha Temple (Temple of the Sun). This was the most sacred and richest temple of the Inca Empire. Although it was destroyed by the Spaniards and Santo Domingo Church was built on top, its walls still retain their gold decorations and impeccable stone craftsmanship.

We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, gaining the chance to experience traditional Cusco cuisine.

After lunch, we will explore the Inca archaeological sites around Cusco. First, we will visit the Sacsayhuamán ruins. This impressive Inca fortress, built with enormous stone blocks, is thought to have been a military structure. From this site, we will have the opportunity to see the panoramic view of the city.

Next, we will visit the Qenqo Archaeological Site. Qenqo, where religious rituals were performed during the Inca period, has an underground tunnel and stone altars, giving it a mystical atmosphere.

At the end of the day, we return to our hotel to rest. Overnight at Hotel Costa del Sol Ramada Cusco.

DAY 11: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – MACHU PICCHU TOUR (LUNCH INCLUDED) & RETURN TO CUSCO

Today, we depart early in the morning to discover the legendary Machu Picchu. After breakfast, we leave our hotel and travel by private vehicle to Ollantaytambo train station. This journey, lasting about 1.5 hours, offers captivating views of the Sacred Valley.

Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo train station, we board one of the luxury trains from PeruRail or IncaRail and travel towards Aguas Calientes along the Urubamba River, enjoying stunning natural vistas. This train journey lasts approximately 2.5 hours, showcasing the magnificent scenery of the Andes Mountains.

Upon reaching Aguas Calientes station, we take a special service bus for a 25-minute ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Here, we start discovering the iconic Inca city with our guide.

During our tour of Machu Picchu, we will visit significant structures such as the King’s Palace, Temple of the Sun, Astronomy Observatory, Agricultural Terraces, and Temple of the Three Windows. This tour will allow us to closely admire the architectural marvels of the Inca civilization, and we will have the chance to take incredible photos. We will enjoy an unforgettable day at Machu Picchu, with its rich historical and mystical texture.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes, and afterward, we will take the bus back to the train station.

In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and upon arrival, board our awaiting vehicle to return to Cusco.

DAY 12: CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO (AMAZON RAINFOREST)

Today, we head to one of South America’s most impressive natural areas, the Amazon Rainforest. After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to Cusco Airport and take a flight with LATAM Airlines at 11:55 to Puerto Maldonado. After approximately a 1-hour flight, we arrive at Puerto Maldonado Airport.

Upon arrival, we drop off our larger luggage at our office in Puerto Maldonado (only small backpacks will be used during our stay in the Amazon rainforest). We then transfer to the banks of the Madre de Dios River and board our private boats, beginning our river journey. After about a 45-minute ride, we arrive at Corto Maltes Amazon Lodge.

Upon arrival, we are welcomed with drinks and given necessary information for our stay in the Amazon. After lunch, we embark on our first Amazon exploration tour.

In the afternoon, we will take a 2-hour nature walk in the Amazon rainforest. During this walk, our local guides will introduce us to the medicinal plants growing in the forest and the Amazon ecosystem. As we discover the magnificent biodiversity of the Amazon, we will have the chance to see many exotic animals such as toucans, parrots, and monkeys.

In the evening, we return to the riverside to watch a stunning sunset. Afterward, we will have dinner at the lodge, enjoying a peaceful night in the heart of the tropical nature.

DAY 13: AMAZON RAINFOREST (FULL DAY TOUR)

Today we will spend an unforgettable day in the Amazon Rainforest. Early in the morning, before sunrise, we leave to go to Sandoval Lake. Here, we will paddle around the lake to observe giant river otters, piranhas, tropical birds, and caimans.

After breakfast with a lake view, we will continue our hike deeper into the Amazon. We will explore the Amazon's enormous trees, different ecosystems, and the lifestyles of the indigenous communities.

After having lunch at the lodge, we will visit a local village to learn about the lifestyle and traditions of the indigenous peoples. Here, we will also have a chance to purchase handmade souvenirs.

In the evening, we return to the lodge for dinner amid the unique atmosphere of the forest's sounds and lights.

DAY 14: PUERTO MALDONADO – LIMA (PERU CAPITAL) & CITY TOUR

This morning, we wake up to the sounds of birds in the Amazon for our last day there. After breakfast, we leave Corto Maltes Lodge and return to Puerto Maldonado by boat along the Madre de Dios River. Once we deposit our larger luggage, we transfer to the airport. At 09:55, we depart Puerto Maldonado with LATAM Airlines and arrive in Lima at 11:30.

After arrival, we board our vehicle for a city tour of Lima. Our first stop will be Lima's historic city center. Here, we will visit Plaza Mayor (Main Square), Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, and City Hall, which are significant structures from the colonial era. We will then visit San Francisco Monastery and the famous Catacombs (Underground Graves) to continue discovering Lima's historical texture.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant, tasting special Peruvian dishes like "ceviche" (marinated fish) and "lomo saltado" (grilled steak).

After our meal, we head to Miraflores, one of modern Lima’s most popular neighborhoods. Here, we will stroll through Love Park (Parque del Amor), along the Costa Verde coastline, and at the Larcomar Shopping Center, enjoying excellent views of the ocean.

At the end of the day, we transfer to our hotel in the Miraflores area and complete our check-in. Overnight at Hotel Radisson Decapolis Miraflores in Lima (4-star).

DAY 15: LIMA – NAZCA LINES FLIGHT

Early in the morning, at 05:00, we depart our hotel and head towards Nazca by private vehicle. Today, we will embark on a journey of approximately 7 hours, following the Pan-American Highway along the Pacific Ocean coast, enjoying unforgettable views until we reach Nazca.

During the journey, we will take a short breakfast break to explore the natural beauty of the coastal region of Peru. When we arrive in Nazca around lunchtime, we will head to Nazca Airport to prepare for our flight over the Nazca Lines.

Nazca Lines Flight:

The Nazca Lines are an ancient structure consisting of large geometric shapes, animal figures, and straight lines, the mystery of which has yet to be solved. These extraordinary geoglyphs, belonging to the Nazca culture, were likely created for astronomical calendar or ritual purposes.

During our flight, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes in private planes for 4 people, we will be able to see the famous shapes, including the Monkey, Spider, Hummingbird, Astronaut, and more.

After the flight, we leave the airport and take a panoramic tour of Nazca. During this tour, we will visit museums where we can learn about the Nazca culture and local markets.

At the end of the day, we check in at CASA ANSINA Nasca Hotel (3-star) in Nazca. We will enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant or at a local restaurant, capping off this captivating day.

DAY 16: NAZCA – ICA – BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR & HUACACHINA – RETURN TO LIMA

After a light breakfast at our hotel early in the morning, we set off quickly. We take a private vehicle and leave Nazca around 06:00, heading to the ICA region for a journey of about 2.5 hours.

Paracas & Ballestas Islands Boat Tour:

Upon reaching ICA, we head to Paracas Port to board speedboats for our Ballestas Islands tour. This tour will last about 2 hours, allowing us to discover the natural beauty of the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as a mini-version of the Galapagos. The islands are home to thousands of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans, and colonies of sea birds. We will also have the chance to see the still-mysterious “Candelabra” figure from the shore.

Huacachina Desert Oasis & Sand Surfing Adventure:

After the Ballestas Islands tour, we head towards Huacachina Oasis, famous for palm trees and sand dunes, a natural lagoon appearing as an oasis in the midst of the desert. Guests can choose to sandboard or join an exciting buggy safari tour through the dunes.

We enjoy traditional Peruvian food at a local restaurant in ICA during this busy day.

RETURN TO LIMA AND NIGHT FLIGHT:

In the afternoon, our journey back to Lima begins from ICA, about a 4-hour journey. Once we arrive in Lima, we head to the airport to prepare for our flight to Bogota.

BOGOTA TRANSFER AND REST:

After arriving early morning in Bogota from Lima, a daily room reservation will be made at City Express Junior by Marriott Bogota Airport for guests to rest until their Istanbul flight. This hotel is ideal for long layovers due to its proximity to the airport and comfortable leisure areas. Guests may rest, take a shower, and enjoy breakfast at their convenience.
