After check-in procedures, we depart for Milan on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1873 at 08:05. Upon arrival at 10:05, we begin our city tour of Milan with our waiting bus. Milan is a city that is more wealthy than attractive, and more creative than stylish. It is undoubtedly the lifeblood of the Italian economy and one of the most visible cities in Italy. During our city tour of Milan, we will visit the historic Castello Sforzesco, also known as the Milan Castle. We will also see the "Galleria," which is known as Europe’s first covered shopping center, significantly marking the 19th-century industrial revolution. The famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel drew inspiration from here for the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Duomo Cathedral, where Gothic art can be intensely observed, is the fourth largest cathedral in the world with its façade adorned with over 2,000 sculptures. You can also see the richness of shop windows on the streets known as the centers of fashion – Via Monte Napoleone and Via La Spiga. After the tour, we will check in to our hotel for the night.

Day 3: Florence – Pisa – Siena – San Gimignano - Florence

After breakfast, we will begin the Great Tuscany tour. Our first stop will be the city of Pisa, known as the three jewels of the Tuscany region. In addition to seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which gives its name to the cathedral’s bell tower, we will also see Pisa Cathedral, the most magnificent Baptistery in Europe, and the Square of Miracles. Next, we will head to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel like you're in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries as well as the Cisterno Square. We will then move on to Siena. Known for its red Chianti wines and built on hills by the Roman Empire, we will navigate through the narrow and hilly streets to the square where the Siena Cathedral is located. Passing by the Banker’s Lodge, which is considered the birthplace of the world's first banking system, we will reach Campo Square, known for hosting historic horse races every year on July 2nd and August 16th. Even when it’s empty, this square shows its nobility. The tower over 100 meters high and the government palace are undoubtedly the first noticeable structures in the square. Afterwards, you can sit and relax in the Campo Square, carefully built with red bricks, while looking for the grates that drain the rainwater into the cistern below. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Montecatini.

Day 4: Florence - Venice

After breakfast, we will depart for Venice and conduct a city tour. We will reach the historical island from Tronchetto port, the last point for vehicles, by vaporetto. After a pleasant vaporetto journey, we will disembark near the main square of the city, San Marco Square, and start our tour among the canals. In Venice, where all vehicles such as police, ambulances, garbage trucks, and public buses are replaced by boats, we will walk from the slaves' beach to San Marco Square while seeing the Venice prison and the "Ponte dei Sospiri" (Bridge of Sighs) connecting the prison to the Doge’s Palace. Right in front of the bridge lies San Giorgio Island. At the square that is home to the main facade of the Doge's Palace, we will see the twin columns regarded as the entrance gates of the city and the statues of Venice's symbols atop these columns. San Marco Square, home to the San Marco Cathedral, has been called "the most beautiful square in the world" by Napoleon. Although the cathedral was completed in the 9th century, it took until the 17th century to reach its current state. The four bronze horses on the main facade were brought from Istanbul after the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can watch the statues on top of the hour tower strike the bell on the hour, and climb the bell tower to get a view of all Venice from above. After a short walk, we will visit the "Ponte Rialto," the first stone bridge built over the "Canal Grande," which is considered a commercial center and is lined with shops.
