Day 1 – Istanbul - Copenhagen We meet 3 hours before departure at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and, after check-in procedures, we take our flight to Copenhagen (CPH) Airport. Upon arrival, we are transferred by private vehicle to the 5* MSC Euribia. Day 2 – At Sea We spend the entire day cruising at sea. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the open buffet restaurant, where a variety of fresh dishes prepared by expert chefs to suit every taste are served, or at the A La Carte restaurant in your specially reserved seat. During the day, you may take advantage of yoga and fitness classes, as well as the state-of-the-art Technogym-equipped gym, which includes outdoor tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, or bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, you may spend time in the lively bars and cafes with our guide, listen to live music, attend Broadway-style theatrical shows, or try your luck at the casino. Dinner and overnight on the ship. Day 3 – Hellesylt/Geiranger | Hornindal Lake & Dalsnibba National Park We have arrived at one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords. Guests who wish may join the Hornindal Lake & Dalsnibba National Park tour, organized by our guide as an extra. Our tour begins early in the morning from Hellesylt, accompanied by magnificent nature, waterfalls, and fjord views. We approach the Geiranger Fjord via Hornindal, the deepest mountain lake in Europe, and charming mountain villages and glacial lakes. We travel to Dalsnibba National Park, which is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage and has a summit at an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters. Upon reaching the summit, if weather conditions permit, we enjoy the unique view. Then we ascend along the world-famous Eagle Road, experiencing completely different landscapes, witnessing more beauties of the Geiranger Fjord, and making a photo stop at the mountain lake on the opposite side of the fjord slope. The excursion ends in Geiranger, where our ship awaits. Dinner and overnight on the ship. Day 4 – Alesund | Trollstigen Devil’s Road After breakfast on the ship, guests who wish may join the “Trollstigen Devil’s Road” tour, organized by our guide as an extra. This is undoubtedly one of the most must-see tours in Norway, along with Flam and Geiranger/Hellesylt. Alesund is an attractive city built on three islands with a population of approximately 40,000, backed by the Sunnmore mountains. The city’s main livelihood is fishing. On our tour, we will see charming suburban houses and well-kept gardens along Borgundfjord. We then follow Storfjord (the big fjord) and pass through the town of Sjoholt. Here, depending on the fjord, we head south toward the Stordal bay. Stordal is a town famous for furniture manufacturing. Then we reach the Valldal valley, famous for strawberry production. Heading to the upper part of the valley, we arrive at Trollstigen, 850 meters above sea level. Following the Troll Road, opened in 1939, we descend into the lower part of the valley and stop for photos at Stigerora waterfall. Then we reach upper Trollveggen and enjoy views of Europe’s famous 1,000-meter-high rock walls, the “Troll Wall.” Climbers from all over the world come here to discover different routes to reach the top. On our return to Alesund, we will see small charming towns famous for wood carving and rose painting, ship and boat building along Romdalsfjord. Crossing the Orskog mountain plateau, also popular among Alesund residents, we continue along the fjord and return to our ship in Alesund port. Depending on time, we will have a photo stop at Aksla hill, from where you can take a bird’s-eye view of all Alesund. Dinner and overnight on the ship. Day 5 – Flaam | Magnificent Flam Fjord & Gudvangen & Tvinde Waterfall After breakfast on the ship, in this tour, where you will feel as if you are traveling through postcard landscapes, we first visit Tvindefossen, one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls, which can be translated into Turkish as the “twin waterfall.” Our next visits will be Gudvangen, which means “the meeting place of the gods,” the delightful route and magnificent views of Stegastein viewpoint. At a stop in Grimsetelvi, in another area offering equally delightful scenery, we photograph the magnificent nature and return to Flam. At the end of the tour, before departing from our last port in Norway, you will have plenty of time to shop in stores where you can find tax refunds and buy very light famous Norwegian down jackets, omega-3 fish oils, and many other souvenirs. Dinner and overnight on the ship. Day 6 – At Sea We spend the entire day cruising at sea. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. After a 1.5-hour bus journey from Germany’s historic naval base to Hamburg, we arrive in Hamburg, the preferred place of residence for the country’s wealthiest and aristocratic class. In our city tour around the Upper and Lower Alster Lakes, we walk around the lakes, pass St. Pauli Street with its red-light district, and see St. Michael’s Church and St. Nikolai Church, symbolized as a war memorial. After that, we will enjoy our free time around the 115-year-old architectural masterpiece Rathaus, a blend of Neo-Renaissance and Baroque styles. The choice is yours: posing for photos with swans or enjoying some shopping. Day 8 – Copenhagen - Istanbul After disembarkation, we transfer to Copenhagen Airport.
