Day 1 Istanbul – Batumi (Breakfast)
We recommend you to arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at least 3 hours before your flight. We are departing on scheduled flight PC 310 of Pegasus Airlines at 12:05 to Batumi, one of the most important ports and tourist cities on the Black Sea coast of Georgia.
At 14:50, we arrive in Batumi and after completing our passport and customs procedures, we start our city tour. During our city tour of Batumi, we will see places like the famous Medea Statue holding a golden fleece, Europe Square, the Astronomy Clock, Piazza Square, which was built as a copy of the examples in Italy and is considered one of the most beautiful squares in Georgia, the St. Nicholas Church gifted to the Sultan by the Greeks during the Ottoman period, Batumi Boulevard that stretches along the coast, Miracle Park which is one of the finest examples of modern architecture, Porto Franco Port which has great historical importance and has become a tourist attraction today, a replica of the Izmir Clock Tower, the Ali and Nino Statue known for its tragic love stories, the Theater Square, Poseidon (Neptune) Statue, and the Theater Building are among the places we will see panoramically. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Batumi.
Day 2 Batumi – Mestia – Ushguli – Mestia (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we head towards Svaneti, one of Georgia's most impressive mountainous regions (265 km). Upon arriving in Mestia, we start our regional tour. First, we visit the Svaneti History and Ethnography Museum to learn about the area's history and cultural structure. Then we will see the Svan Towers, which are the symbols of the region and were built for defense purposes in the Middle Ages. Next, we will visit the church known as the House of the Virgin Mary. Then we will move towards Ushguli Village, one of the highest continuously inhabited villages in Europe, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (approximately 45 km). Situated at the foot of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Ushguli is one of the most special points in the region with its stone houses, Svan towers, and views of Mount Shkhara.
After our visit, we will return to Mestia. Accommodation at our hotel in Mestia.
Day 3 Mestia – Kutaisi (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checking out of our rooms, we set off for Kutaisi, one of Georgia's largest and oldest cities, known for its natural and historical riches (220 km). Upon our arrival in Kutaisi, we start our city tour. During our visit to this ancient city, which played a significant role in Georgian history and was the capital of the Colchis Kingdom, we will first visit the Gelati Monastery, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 12th century, this important structure served as an academy during the Middle Ages and played a significant role in the development of Georgian science and culture.
Next, we will see Bagrati Cathedral, which dates back to the 11th century and has become a symbol of the city with its architecture. We will then visit the Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia's most impressive natural formations, featuring large lakes and underground rivers. During our walk in this stunning cave, we will witness the unique landscapes created by nature over millions of years.
After returning to the city center, we will see the Opera House, which has an important place in Kutaisi's cultural life, and we will take a photo break at the Colchis Fountain, consisting of 30 different statues symbolizing the Colchis Kingdom. During our free time, guests can explore the city center, spend time in local cafés, and do some shopping.
After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Kutaisi.
Day 4 Kutaisi – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Mtskheta – Jvari – Tbilisi (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checking out of our rooms, our first stop of the day is Gori (approximately 150 km). Here, we visit the Stalin Museum, where many objects and photos belonging to Josef Stalin, a Georgian leader who transformed the Soviet Union into an industrial and military superpower, are displayed. After the museum visit, we will have a short city tour in Gori. Then, we move to Uplistsikhe Ancient City, known for its cave temples and structures reminiscent of Cappadocia (approximately 15 km). This ancient settlement stands out with its rock-hewn houses, temples, and streets. After exploring, we will move on to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia before Tbilisi (approximately 65 km).
In Mtskheta, one of the oldest settlements in the world that has survived to this day, we will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, considered one of the most sacred places in Georgia, and we will provide free time in the historic city center. Then we will go to Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated on a hill overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers (approximately 20 km). This 6th-century structure enchants visitors with its architecture and views. After the tour, we will transfer to Tbilisi. Accommodation at our hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 5 Tbilisi- Bodbe Monastery - Signagi - Tbilisi Narikala and Dinner with Caucasian Night (Breakfast and Dinner)
After breakfast, we start a wonderful day together. We are heading to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia known for its architecture and surrounding nature (approximately 60 km). After our visit, we will head to the “City of Love,” Signagi (approximately 15 km). Known for its natural beauty, restored charming stone buildings, and picturesque scenery, this beautiful place is a tourist attraction, where we will see the Signagi Fortress, which is more than 4 km long and is called the “Georgia Wall” that offers magnificent vistas, the St. George Church known for its architecture and surrounding nature, the historical town center with its beautifully maintained historical buildings, and the “Doctor on Donkey'' statue, which has become a symbol of the town because of its association with a doctor who was known for helping many people. During our city tour, we will visit photo spots like Kakheti panoramic point, Signagi panoramic point, and St. George Tower. Guests will have the opportunity to explore freely during the free time, shop, and enjoy lunch in this delightful town. Then, we will head back to Tbilisi (approximately 10 km).
Upon arrival, we will begin our walking tour, experiencing the famous Flower Market and the Covered Market, Orbeliani Park, which has become an attraction with the restoration of 13 important buildings considered cultural heritage, and we will see Atoneli Street. We will also see Europe Square, the Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari District, the Georgian Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral. We will visit the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater, Angel Clock Tower, Anchiskhati Basilica, and Jan Shardeni Street. In this beautiful square, we will have a free time where you can taste local flavors in authentic cafés. We will visit Bethlehem Street, which houses the center of the Jewish Community of Georgia and has many historical artifacts. Afterward, we will go to the area of the famous Narikala Fortress. We will take a short teleferik ride to the top to see the Mother Georgia Monument erected to celebrate Georgia's 1500th Anniversary in 1958. From here, you can take panoramic pictures of the city. We will return to the lower city via teleferik and head to the historic Abanotubani, which has sulfur baths that have been associated with the city since the 4th century BC. We will visit the Cuma Mosque known as “Double Mihrab” built in 1724 by the Ottomans, and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We will take our leave by descending the historical and renowned Turning Staircase and passing through the Wooden Love Bridge while giving free time to explore the Meydan Underground Bazaar in the heart of the city. Afterwards, we will head to the place where you can watch stunning Caucasian folklore shows, enjoying a dinner composed of Georgian dishes. At the end of this wonderful day, we will return to our hotel.
Day 6 Tbilisi (Breakfast)
Breakfast will be taken at our hotel. Rooms should be checked out by 12:00.
After checking out, we will start our Tbilisi tour. In this beautiful city, which always astonishes visitors with what it offers, we will see the Narikala Fortress, the Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, the City Hall, Rustaveli National Theatre, Viceroy Palace, the National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, the Mother Georgia Monument, the main square of the city, Liberty Square, the building of the Parliament, the Archaeology Museum which houses the important archaeological treasures of the country, the Museum of Fine Arts with more than 3,500 works, the replica of the cathedral built in the 11th century named Kashueti St George Church, and the National Museum of Georgia which holds the country’s significant artifacts, the Opera and Ballet Theater which hosts important performances, and the MoMa Museum, famous for its statues and temporary exhibitions. We will also visit the Historical Books Museum, known for its ancient books and manuscripts, the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Mirror Hall, and the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, the largest place of worship in modern-day Georgia that can be seen from almost everywhere in Tbilisi. We will also have panoramic views of the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali located on Metekhi Hill, often referred to as the “Horse King”, and take a look at Metekhi Cathedral, which dates back to 455 AD. We will transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide.
Day 7 Tbilisi – Istanbul
At 03:25, we will depart for Istanbul on scheduled flight PC 319 operated by Pegasus Airlines.
