Day 1: Istanbul – Milan - Venice
Meeting at 03:30 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul New Airport international departures terminal. After check-in, we depart for Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK 1873. After our arrival at 08:45, we continue to Venice by our waiting bus. Guests who wish may join the Verona & Lake Garda Tour to be held on the way. After the tour, departure to Venice. From Tronchetto port, the last access point for vehicles, we take the vaporetto to the historic island. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we get off the vaporetto at a point near St. Mark’s Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, where motor vehicles have been removed and all the vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life, such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc., have been replaced by boats. While walking from the waterfront to St. Mark’s Square, you can see the Venetian prison and the “Ponte dei Sospiri” Bridge of Sighs, which connects the prison and the Doge’s Palace, St. George Island directly opposite the bridge, the twin columns called the city’s gateway in the square on the main façade of the Doge’s Palace, and the statues on these columns, which are the symbols of Venice. The square where St. Mark’s Cathedral is located was called “the most beautiful square in the world” by Napoleon. Although the cathedral was completed in the 9th century, it took until the 17th century to reach its current form. The 4 bronze horses you will see on its main façade were brought from Istanbul upon the return of the Second Crusade. In your free time, you can watch the statues atop the clock tower strike the bell at the top of the hour, and you can also go up the bell tower to see the entire view of Venice from above. Also, guests who wish may join the extra Burano Island Tour. After the tour, free time. Then transfer to our hotel, room allocation, and overnight at our Venice hotel.

We see the ducal palace of the Verona Duchy, which remained under the Venetian Republic for centuries, the Erbe Square, which has been used as a marketplace since its history and is still used as such today, and in Erbe Square, the second-largest amphitheater in Italy after the Colosseum in Rome. Passing through Verona shopping streets, whose streets were paved with marble to show their wealth, we see the palace where Dante Alighieri lived during his exile. After seeing the Scaligero family cemetery, which ruled Verona, we panoramically see the house where Romeo and Juliet, inspired William Shakespeare, were born. After a short free time, we head to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. In Garda, which enchants with its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and lake view, you can take a walk along the lake, photograph unique views, and enjoy the cool breeze.

Day 2: Venice – Pisa – Florence
After breakfast, we depart for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join the Pisa Tour. Florence, known in history as the birthplace of the Renaissance and shaping the history of European art and thought, is one of the most important cultural centers not only of Italy but of the world. Rising under the patronage of the Medici family, this city is a center where many geniuses such as Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Botticelli were born and created their works. It also played a leading role throughout history in banking, textiles, and the arts; for a period, it also served as the capital of the Kingdom of Italy. On our city tour, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo), one of Florence’s masterpieces combining Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and the Baptistery with its impressive exterior, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Signoria Square, considered the political center of the city, Palazzo Vecchio (Signoria Palace) in the square, Loggia dei Lanzi adorned with statues, Uffizi Square, home to world-famous collections, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, which stands out with its historic and elegant structure over the Arno River, Piazza della Repubblica, which combines the city’s modern and historic fabric, and San Lorenzo Market, known for its local products, are among the places to be seen.

We will have the opportunity to see up close the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of Italy’s symbols. On our tour, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli) will be visited; our guide will provide information about Pisa Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Leaning Tower from the outside. After the tour, guests will be given free time for taking photos and exploring the surroundings. You can capture unforgettable shots in front of this iconic tower, one of the most photographed structures in Italy.
Day 3: Florence – Milan
After breakfast, we depart for Milan. Rather than attractive, Milan is stylish; rather than creative, it is wealthy. Without a doubt, it is the lifeblood of the Italian economy and one of Italy’s most worth-seeing cities. On our Milan city tour, we will see Milan Castle, ‘Castello Sforzesco’, one of the city’s historical monuments, and the ‘Galleria’, which left its mark on the 19th-century industrial revolution and is also known as Europe’s first covered shopping center. The famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel was inspired by this for the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Duomo, where Gothic art can be seen intensely, is the fourth-largest church in the world with its exterior made up of more than 2,000 statues. On the ‘via monte napoleone’ and ‘via la spiga’ streets, known as the center of fashion, you can see the richness of the shop windows. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Como Lake and Town Tour. Transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Milan - Istanbul
After breakfast, we check out of the rooms and head to the airport. After our arrival, we depart for Istanbul at 10:45 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1874. Arrival at 14:45 local time and the end of our tour. We hope to see you again on our next organization.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, DGNTRAVEL may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For refunds of additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic connecting flight purchased from DGNTRAVEL will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa application has been made in the guest’s name using the visa service and travel health insurance, these services will have been used and therefore cannot be refunded to the guest; if no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be cancelled and refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a product provider independent of DGNTRAVEL, in the event that the trip is cancelled by DGNTRAVEL, the guest cannot claim any refund from DGNTRAVEL. The guest accepts in advance, at the time of purchasing the tour, any material or moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and DGNTRAVEL cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, DGNTRAVEL has the right to refrain from cancelling the tour in good faith. In this case, since the tour will be provided to the guest individually, the included guidance service will only cover the round-trip overseas airport transfer.
Cancellation and changes
4- In cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the amounts of these flight tickets, which are non-refundable and non-changeable, will be charged as a penalty.
5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, except for airplane tickets that have been paid to and/or committed to by the airline by DGNTRAVEL, provided that they notify DGNTRAVEL in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date. If there are fewer than 31 days remaining until the start date of the trip, cancellation can be made by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee after the ticket price; if there are 15 days or fewer remaining until the start date of the trip, cancellation can be made by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. If cancellation is requested, since the cancellation/refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connections, visa service, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the requested cancellation period, information about refunds should be requested in advance. DGNTRAVEL cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation/refund of additional services.
Guidance Services and Extra Tours
6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
7- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically with guide commentary from the vehicle and not including museum or historical site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the day and time corresponding to the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for the inability to carry out the said tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible in areas with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
8- Our guide may make changes to the city tour and/or additional tour days based on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and whether museums and historical sites are closed. This also applies in cases of changes that may occur in flight times.
9- Matters to consider in our tours with speed boats: heavy meals should not be eaten and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed immediately before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guide of their condition.
10- If participation is not provided in the tour or meal services specified under the services included in the price, there is no refund.
About Flights
11- DGNTRAVEL is an intermediary agency between the airline and the passenger, and in any possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention shall apply.
12- On scheduled and charter flights, delays or changes in flight times may occur. DGNTRAVEL is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of changes/cancellation of the flight time.
13- Children between the ages of 0-2 pay only the airport tax.
14- In accordance with airline rules; if the outbound flight of tickets purchased as round-trip is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.
15- For people participating in air-inclusive tours, the required check-in and boarding procedures are personal tasks and it is mandatory for these procedures to be completed by the guest before the flight at the airport, from the relevant airline counters, or online on the airlines’ websites.
16- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are announced verbally at airports and displayed on information boards in the area. These should be followed by the guests themselves.
17- DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane, if they are unable to take the flight. All expenses arising from the procurement of new round-trip flight tickets required for guests who miss the plane to join the tour, as well as transfers in the destination region, etc., are their own responsibility.
18- In general, the baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not under DGNTRAVEL’s responsibility.
19- For our guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets with miles (to business or first class); once the tickets have been issued, the upgrade can be carried out depending on the airline’s availability (please check the airline in which you have membership). No mile guarantee is given for each flight. Please check whether the program tickets are in an upgradeable class.
20- On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in services may be subject to an additional fee.
Other Matters
21- DGNTRAVEL will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest directly contacting the hotel. In such a case, DGNTRAVEL cancellation conditions will apply.
22- In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying the hotel(s) name and/or options are offered for the same destination, DGNTRAVEL will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip departure.
23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther away from the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, DGNTRAVEL will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
24- During registration for the purchased tour; the name as shown in the passport, date of birth, and passport number must be entered/declared correctly into the system by the guest. Air tickets are issued according to this information. The penalty fee for cancellation or changes to air tickets arising from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
25- In order to use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey, check whether your phone is enabled for international use by contacting the company your line belongs to.
26- The hotel check-in time for accommodation is 15:00, and check-out time is 12:00.
27- DGNTRAVEL will notify the hotel of room-related requests (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type). Efforts are made for the allocated rooms to match the guest’s preferences according to the hotel’s availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by DGNTRAVEL.
28- The breakfast offered in hotels differs from the rich breakfast customary in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served with limited options, known as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.
29- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer twin rooms that can be combined when necessary.
30- The child and extra bed policy may vary according to each hotel and room type.
31- Any extra bed and crib will be provided upon request and subject to the hotel’s availability, and must be approved by the hotel.
32- The capacity for an extra bed or crib in the room is 1 (maximum).
33- There is an extra bed application in 3-person rooms; in such rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are pull-out beds and coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type due to the extra beds that will be added to the standard room in 3-person room and/or child-inclusive reservations.
34- If the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children stated in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification of children.
35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to the “single child” in the age group staying with 2 adults.
36- Exchange rate differences during the day are reflected in TL prices. The exchange rates at the time of payment apply. Your additional requests, some extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to an extra charge by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
37- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes applied in this manner are collected by the hotel from the guest upon entry or exit.
38- The road distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be extended in cases such as traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, roadworks, and road conditions.
39- DGNTRAVEL may, in mandatory situations or when deemed necessary, change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used for the flight, without altering the content of the program.
40- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the persons participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the owner of the item.
41- It is mandatory for persons participating in the tour to have their travel health insurance policies and, if they have any health problems, the relevant medications and reports with them.
42- For possible extra expenses, an official photo ID/passport issued by official institutions and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel at check-in. The refund of the requested deposit at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and DGNTRAVEL has no involvement.
Visa and Passport
43- A visa application is available for citizens of the Republic of Turkey.
44- The passports of our guests must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip.
45- At customs crossings/border gates, in order for entry-exit stamps to be placed in your passport, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport.
46- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries in this tour does not mean that you can enter/leave the country; the passport police have the authority to prevent you from entering/leaving the country, and DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.
47- Our guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the passport of the other country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedure applied by the country to be visited to the passport they will use; otherwise, DGNTRAVEL will not be responsible for any resulting outcomes.
48- In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged in similar ways; passports must be renewed. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
49- Since there is a possibility that, when our guests under 18 travel alone or with only one of their mother or father, the police officer in charge of entry/exit procedures may ask for a document showing the mutual consent of the parents; we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive about this matter.
