GENERAL CONDITIONS 1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program. 2- If sufficient participation cannot be ensured for the trip; Wtatil reserves the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation notice will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. Refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour are subject to specific conditions; if domestic connecting flights or visa services were purchased from Wtatil, and used, they cannot be refunded; if not used, they will be canceled and refunded. If the guest obtained the domestic connecting flight from a provider other than Wtatil, Wtatil cannot claim any refund if the tour is canceled by Wtatil. Guests accept and acknowledge the potential material and moral losses resulting from the cancellation of the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible. 3- Wtatil reserves the right to cancel the tour in good faith if sufficient participation cannot be met. In this case, only the international outbound and inbound transfer services included in the package will be provided to the guest on an individual basis. Cancellation and Change 4- Guests may cancel without penalty by notifying Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the departure date, excluding airline tickets that have been paid for and/or committed through Wtatil. For cancellations less than 31 days before departure, a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee applies if less than 15 days before; or the entire tour fee if 15 days or less remain before departure. Refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connection, visa, and travel health insurance depend on the timing of cancellation and should be confirmed in advance. Wtatil cannot guarantee refunds for additional services. Guidance Services and Extra Tours 5- The dates and times of guided tours in the program may change depending on the open/closed status of museums and historical sites and local weather conditions. During tours, different guides may accompany the guests. 6- Panoramic city tours included in the package are generally 2-3 hours long, offering general city overviews without entry to museums or historic sites, and are conducted from within vehicles with guide commentary. If these tours are canceled due to restrictions, road closures, closed sites, or weather conditions, Wtatil is not responsible. Some tours may be conducted on foot or via public transportation where necessary. 7- Our guide may modify the schedule of city tours and additional excursions based on the number of participants and the closure status of museums or sites, including changes that may occur due to flight times. 8- For boat tours using speedboats, guests should avoid heavy meals and excessive water intake beforehand. Guests with stomach, back, or neck issues, as well as pregnant guests, should inform the guide. 9- If participants do not join the services included in the price (such as specific tours or meals), refunds are not provided. Flights Information 10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline; in case of disputes, Turkish laws, the Hague Protocol, and the Warsaw Convention will apply. 11- Timetable delays or changes in scheduled and charter flights are possible; Wtatil will inform guests as soon as possible. Guests accept and purchase the tour with the risk of flight time changes or cancellations. 12- Children aged 0-2 pay only the airport tax. 13- According to airline rules, if the outgoing flight included in the round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline. 14- For participants in air tours, check-in and boarding are personal procedures; guests are responsible for completing these before the flight at the airport counter or online on the airline's website. 15- Last-minute delays, gate changes, or announcements are made at airports and shown on information screens; guests should monitor these updates. 16- Guests who fail to arrive on time for check-in or boarding at the specified airport or who do not board the planned flight are not the responsibility of Wtatil. The costs of arranging new tickets and transfers related to missed flights are borne by the guests. 17- For flights originating from Turkey, the maximum luggage weight is generally 20 kg; this can vary depending on the airline and destination. Domestic leg weights may be 15 kg. Overweight baggage rules are determined by airlines and are not Wtatil’s responsibility. 18- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets with miles (business or first class) can do so after ticket issuance, subject to airline availability; there is no guarantee of miles or upgrade. 19- Some airlines might charge extra for meals, beverages, or online check-in services. Other Matters 20- Wtatil is not responsible for any changes or cancellations made directly with hotels; such requests are solely between the guest and the hotel, subject to hotel cancellation policies. 21- Hotel names are not specified in the program for certain categories or options; guests will be informed at least 48 hours before departure. 22- During major events like fairs, congresses, concerts, sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther from the indicated locations; Wtatil will inform guests at least 15 days prior. 23- During registration for the tour, guests must accurately provide their passport name, date of birth, and passport number, as tickets will be issued based on these details. Incorrect information may result in ticket cancellations or changes, for which the guest is responsible. 24- To use your phone abroad, verify before leaving Turkey if your device and SIM are set up for international use by contacting your provider. 25- Hotel check-in time is 15:00; check-out time is 12:00. 26- Wtatil communicates special requests (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed types) to the hotel; while efforts are made to fulfill these, they are subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil. 27- Breakfast offerings in hotels are typically continental, featuring limited options like butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, served in a dedicated room for groups. 28- Some double rooms may have single beds or beds that can be joined, depending on the hotel. 29- Child and extra bed policies vary per hotel and room type. 30- Additional beds and cribs are provided upon request and subject to availability, with hotel approval. 31- The capacity for extra beds or cribs in a room is typically 1. 32- In triple rooms, the third bed is smaller than standard beds and consists of one large bed plus an additional foldable or coach bed. Additional services like minibar or ironing at the hotel may incur extra charges, payable directly to the hotel. 36- Taxes at the city, tourism, or regional levels may be applied at entry or exit points and are collected by the hotel from guests. 37- Road distances provided are based on maps; actual travel times may vary due to traffic, weather, roadworks, and local conditions. 38- Wtatil reserves the right to modify the order of cities or change major flight providers without altering the core content of the program if necessary. 39- Personal belongings, luggage, passports, and IDs are each guest’s responsibility; Wtatil is not liable for loss, theft, or damage. Costs for locating lost belongings are borne by the owner. 40- Guests are required to carry their travel health insurance, medical reports, and necessary medications. 41- Extra charges may be requested at check-in, such as a deposit with official identification, passports, or credit cards, which is refundable upon check-out; Wtatil has no involvement in this process. Visa and Passports 42- Visa is not required for Turkish citizens. 43- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of travel. 44- To obtain entry/exit stamps, passports must have at least 2 blank pages. 45- Visa exemption does not guarantee entry; border control has the authority to deny entry or exit. Wtatil is not responsible for such decisions. 46- Non-Turkish or dual citizens using another country’s passport should check the visa requirements with consulates; Wtatil is not liable for consequences of non-compliance. 47- Damaged, torn, or worn passports must be renewed to avoid problems at border crossings; responsibility rests with the guest. 48- Minors under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may face questions about parental consent at border crossings; minors and parents are advised to carry any necessary permissions.
