After completing ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport control procedures by arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before departure, we fly to Bologna at 12:40 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217. Upon our arrival in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we depart by our private coach to our hotel in the Rome region where we will stay. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Siena Tour (50 Euro). Siena is famous for its narrow streets and small lanes from the Middle Ages, as well as Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant walk through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Rome region. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop is Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After a sightseeing walk in Nemi, where its narrow streets opening onto squares, enchanting lake and valley views, and the scent of strawberries in the air blend together, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, the city known as Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine meet. With buildings in various styles ranging from Antiquity to the Renaissance, Rome welcomes you with its history. While the monuments created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists in every season, Rome carries even these crowds without overwhelming its visitors, with all its beauty and elegance. During our tour, the Colosseum, which became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the center of ceremonies in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says anyone who throws a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo will be seen panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Starting with Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican City / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics come to worship each year and where, on special occasions, the Pope comes out from his residence to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, with its naturalness and simplicity as well as its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops. Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, the Ghetto district, and the ancient Tiber Island connected to the city by two bridges are among the places to be seen panoramically. After a walking tour through the narrow backstreets with small tables and a labyrinth-like layout, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Naples Tour) – (Amalfi Pearl Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Naples Tour (40 Euro). Upon arrival in Naples, we will see Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After free time in Naples, guests who wish may join the optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). Starting with lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city. Thanks to long excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city has been revealed with all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Or guests who wish may join the optional Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). Sorrento, whose history dates back to prehistoric times, combines Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, delighting visitors with its small tourist boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and its famous Italian lemon liqueur, Limoncello. After a city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, free time is offered. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – (Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day. Known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers,” it is famous for its 14 architectural marvels that survived from 76 towers despite wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing walk through San Gimignano’s narrow streets, which feel as if time has stopped and take visitors on a journey back to the Middle Ages, and its squares from which each of the 14 magnificent towers can be seen panoramically, we continue toward our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour (95 Euro). First, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral from the outside, immediately recognizable by its orange-colored dome and the fact that it is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is the bronze gate known as the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes representing the stories of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted. Next, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which for centuries was the political and social center of Florence and also houses Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, will be among the places seen. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on the Ligurian coast of Italy known for its colorful houses, terraced hillsides running parallel to the coast, and seaside villages. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We complete our tour with a sightseeing walk in one of the 5 villages that give the region its name, and then continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by multicolored houses and having inspired songs with all its beauty, captivates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino visit, we continue to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – (Lugano Tour) – (Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, guests who wish may join the optional Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour (95 Euro). Our first stop is Milan. Known as one of Europe’s fashion capitals, Milan also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Recognized as Italy’s business and finance capital, it is also the right destination for shopping and dining experiences. During our tour in Milan, famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. At the end of the Milan Masterpieces Tour, we arrive in Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and we will take a photo break with the lake’s unique view. After free time in Como, guests who wish may join the optional Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro), arranged only for guests joining the Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour. In this tour, we will take a peaceful walk along the shore of Lake Lugano, located within Swiss borders, and admire its unique nature, magnificent scenery, and city park, enjoying the extraordinary views and taking photos. At the end of the tour, we begin our return journey to our hotel in the Milan region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Outlet Tour (35 Euro). After pleasant free time for affordable shopping at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of many prestigious brands as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Milan region.
MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, is home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and also the home of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet, the world’s best-known love story. After our panoramic sightseeing walk through Via Mazzini (main street) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and with a view of Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue toward our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – Vaporetto transport included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built from stone and marble with columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of grandeur and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, followed by a pleasant walking tour through Venice’s streets connected by bridges and extending alongside narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we arrange our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the opportunity to observe Venice from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, a fishing village famous for its lacework and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, at the time specified by our guide, we depart for Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport and completion of baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 15:25 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 local time and end of the tour.
