ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – VENICE
We arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport procedures, and then fly to Bergamo at 08:50 on Pegasus Airlines’ direct scheduled flight PC1211. Upon arrival at Bergamo Airport at 10:40 local time, we meet our private coach and depart for our Bergamo city tour. Located northeast of Milan, Bergamo is divided into “Upper Town,” which preserves its historical fabric, and “Lower Town,” which hosts modern life. In Bergamo, where we will fully feel the medieval atmosphere, we complete our panoramic city tour and then, after some free time, continue to our hotel in the Venice region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check in and have free time to rest.
VENICE – (Verona Tour) – (Venice Highlights and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join our optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the House of Romeo and Juliet, the famous work by English writer Shakespeare that tells the world’s greatest love story. On foot, we will take a panoramic walking tour through Via Mazzini (the main street), Erbe Square surrounded by many shops, cafes, and boutiques, and we will also see Verona Cathedral before completing the tour. During the free time offered, guests who wish may join our optional Venice Highlights and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our Venice tour, we will see the main iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built from stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of splendor and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then enjoy a pleasant walk through Venice’s streets, connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the opportunity to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see Lido and Murano islands from the sea and visit Burano Island, a fishing village famous for its lace and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Venice region.
VENICE – (Florence Highlights Tour with Lunch) – ROME
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Florence Highlights Tour with Lunch (65 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we first see from the outside the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately attracts attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where prophetic stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, are depicted as representations. We then see Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous David statue is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops. After the Florence Highlights Tour, we continue our journey toward our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check in and have free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join our optional Rome Icons & Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour (95 Euro). In Rome, referred to as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” we take you on a historical journey through a city where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine come together, with buildings in different styles from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created through the competition of architects attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome carries all this beauty and elegance without overwhelming even the crowds. On our tour, in Rome, the imperial city that has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we first see the Colosseum, the city’s symbol and the site of gladiatorial fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who tosses a coin in will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street performers, and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo, all from the outside. After the Rome Icons Tour, we provide free time at the Pantheon. We then visit Castel Sant’Angelo, the Angel Castle, Navona Square, and Vatican / St. Peter’s, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square, where thousands of Catholics come to worship every year and where, on special occasions, the Pope greets the people from his office, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, we experience the real Italian atmosphere with its authenticity and simplicity, as well as its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops. We see Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, the Ghetto area, and the Ancient Tiber Island, which is connected to the city by 2 bridges, all from the outside. After a walk through its maze-like narrow backstreets with small tables set out, we complete the tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Sorrento Tour, Pearl of the Amalfi Coast)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional full-day Sorrento Tour, Pearl of the Amalfi Coast (95 Euro). Sorrento, whose history dates back to prehistoric times, fascinates visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style. Famous for its small tourist boutiques, breathtaking beaches, stunning views, and the Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, we enjoy a city tour and surrounding excursion in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, and then provide free time for sea, sand, and sun at Sorrento’s beautiful beaches. After this pleasant free time, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano & Siena Tour) – (Pisa Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off for our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour is Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages, its small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant visit through Campo Square and the historic narrow streets leading to it, we continue to San Gimignano. San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, has earned its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvels that survived among 76 towers after wars and natural disasters. In San Gimignano, where time seems to stand still and visitors feel as though they have traveled back to the Middle Ages, we enjoy a panoramic view of the 14 magnificent towers from its squares and the narrow streets that open onto the town square, then continue our journey to our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Pisa Tour (50 Euro). Upon arrival in Pisa, our tour includes the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and Miracles Square. After a short free time for photos, we arrive at our hotel in the Florence region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check in and have free time to rest.
FLORENCE – OUTLET – (Milan Highlights and Como Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to organize our outlet tour program. After a pleasant free time at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and recreational activity areas, offering affordable and quality shopping, during the free time offered guests who wish may join our optional Milan Highlights and Como Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour is Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our tour in Milan, the famous La Scala opera house, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the Milan Highlights Tour, we arrive in Como. Upon arrival, we tour Lake Como, which hosts summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European wealthy elites, and the world jet set, and is famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, and we take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check in and have free time to rest.
MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines’ direct scheduled flight PC1212 at 11:45. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:25 local time and end of the tour.
