Unused transportation, accommodation, guiding, sightseeing, etc. rights are non-refundable. • Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child accompanying two adults. For children aged 0-6, separate beds may not be provided in hotel accommodation. • In hotel accommodations, the third guest in triple rooms is generally accommodated on an extra bed. • The hotels listed in the program are the primary accommodation facilities of Malitur. Changes can be made regarding the area and hotels, provided that the hotel standards remain the same, depending on the occupancy. Hotel names will be communicated 48 hours before the tour departure if requested. • Rooms in the hotels where accommodation will be made are determined by the hotel. Selection between rooms is not allowed. • Our rest stops may change in location and service standards due to reasons such as density, renovation, etc., while maintaining the same standards. • In the program schedule (whether in the order of points to be visited during the day or between days), the guide may make changes if deemed necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, density at visiting places, etc. • Malitur is not responsible for places that are not visited during the tour program due to force majeure (weather, road, density at visiting places, etc.) or due to the guests not adhering to the timings given by our guide during the tour. In such cases, the guest does not have any claim for rights. • A graduated pricing system is applied in all our tours. With the increase in the number of reservations within the package and as the date approaches, tour prices may gradually increase. Malitur reserves the right to increase prices. In this case, price stabilization cannot be made without an advance payment. • During the reservation process, seat number promises and guarantees cannot be given. Notes entered in the reservation do not guarantee anything. No special seat selection such as front or back is allowed. • The seating arrangement in the vehicle is arranged by Malitur Operations, taking into account the order of reservations. In case of objections regarding seat placement, refunds are not possible. All seats in our vehicles are of the same standard. • Extra tours in the program, such as night tours, are realized based on the number of participants and staff availability. Additional tours to be conducted along the way will still take place even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not participate in additional tours will be directed by our guide to resting areas or city centers. Guests who do not participate in additional tours have joined the tour by accepting to wait at the rest stop. • The guest has no claims for any reason if an extra tour does not take place. Malitur has no responsibility in this situation. • Extra tour prices may vary according to periods. In this case, the price applicable is based on the date of the tour, not the date the guest purchased the tour. Guests accept this when purchasing the tour. • Malitur is not responsible for any material damage caused by guests in all services provided by the transportation vehicle, hotel, food and beverage areas, and suppliers. Please do not insist on getting off at a different point. • According to traffic law, all our guests in the vehicle are required to wear seat belts during their journey, and Malitur is not responsible for any situation otherwise. • The responsibility for all personal belongings inside the vehicle lies with the guest at rest stops, etc. • Since the first day's tour will start before checking into the hotel, please prepare the necessary items separately. • Due to the program intensity during the tour, it may not always be possible to find ATMs, currency exchange offices, etc.; therefore, it is advisable to be prepared. • Long distances may be covered during the planned programs. Necessary information will be provided by the tour guide in the vehicle. • Lunches consist of regionally special economical menus. Lunch and dinner tables are used which are divided according to regional density. • The starting and ending route of our tours is determined according to regional density. The definite starting and ending routes of the tour can be learned by our guests if they contact us two days in advance. • If the tour does not reach a sufficient number of attendees as determined by the agency, the guest will be informed, and at the guest's discretion, the tour may be postponed to the next date or canceled. Alternatively, ticketing may be arranged for the nearest departure point to ensure the guest's participation in the tour. In such a case, the agency is obliged to inform the guest by phone, SMS, or email three (3) days in advance. In such cases, the guest has no claims for rights. • Guests who wish to cancel or change services without giving a reason up to 30 days before the service start date will be refunded the amount paid. Cancellations and changes made between 29 to 15 days prior will incur a 30% deduction from the reservation amount; between 15-7 days will incur a 50% deduction; and cancellations made 7 days or less will incur a 100% deduction from the reservation amount. • Guests who purchase the Cancellation, Refund, and Guarantee Package can cancel the purchased package tour without any deduction until 72 hours before the tour start date without providing a reason. Turkey and Georgia have reached an agreement that allows Turkish citizens to cross into Batumi using their Turkish ID cards that contain their national identity number. Passage is not permitted with other identity cards (such as driver's licenses, institutional IDs, etc.). Guests under the age of 18 who will not be traveling with both parents (mother and father simultaneously) must obtain a notarized consent form for entry into Batumi. It is mandatory for all identity documents, including those of babies and children, to have a photograph. The ID cards must be in good condition and not older than 10 years. As of September 1, 2020, it is officially prohibited to cross into Batumi using old identity cards. Guests are required to carry a Turkish ID card with them. A fee of 1250 ₺ for exiting the country must be paid by the guests. Malitur is not responsible for any issues that may arise at the Georgian border due to deformities in the identification documents. Foreign guests who have entered Turkey with a passport must obtain a multiple entry visa to go to Georgia and return to Turkey. Additionally, according to Georgia's visa protocol with the countries to which the passports or identity cards belong, passage will be permitted either with or without a visa. Citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) can enter Turkey using their T.C. identity cards, and they will also be able to enter Georgia with these cards. TRNC citizens entering Turkey with a European Union passport must also have obtained a multiple entry visa to be able to return to Turkey.

Day 2

  • After a night journey, we arrive at Kastamonu, our first stop on the Black Sea Tour with DGN Travel, and begin the day with a breakfast break. Next, we see the Nasrullah Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Kastamonu built in 1506. Then we visit the Şerife Bacı Monument, representing the brave Turkish woman who carried ammunition from İnebolu to Kastamonu during the War of Independence. After that, we see the Government Building constructed by Vedat Tek, one of the prominent architects of the Republic period in 1902. After taking photos of the Government Building, we see the Clock Tower located on Sarayüstü Hill panoramically. We also get a panoramic view of Kastamonu Castle, which is situated on the mountain opposite the Clock Tower. After saying goodbye to Kastamonu, we proceed to Sinop, which is the northernmost point of our country and a historic port city surrounded by seas on three sides.
  • In Sinop, our first stop is the Historical Sinop Prison, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list and now operates as a museum. Once referred to as "Anatolia's Alcatraz," the Sinop Closed Prison was converted into a museum in 1999. Many famous figures have counted their days in this structure that dates back to ancient times. The prison, located on Sinop Castle, has inspired many poems and songs. After touring the Historical Prison with our guide, we head down to the Sinop coastline, where those who wish can join the Sinop boat tour. (Extra) After our boat tour, we enjoy the famous Sinop dumpling and nokul at our restaurant. We then move to Hamsilos Nature Park, located 14 km away from the city center. The nature park harbors two unique natural harbors, Hamsilos Cove and Akliman Cove, where the sea enters the land like a river, showcasing its forested areas and rich biodiversity. During free time, you can enjoy the natural beauty and take souvenir photos. After our free time ends, we head to Samsun.
  • In Samsun, our first sightseeing stop will be the replica of the Bandırma Ferry, where Atatürk arrived with 18 friends to initiate the National Struggle on May 19, 1919. After receiving information from our guide and taking a short photo break, we move to the Honor Monument. We see this monument made by Austrian sculptor H. Krippel in 1931 and take a souvenir photo before heading to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

  • On the third day of the Black Sea Tour with DGN Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we arrive in Giresun via Piraziz and Bulancak. After getting a panoramic view of Giresun Castle, the capital of hazelnuts and cherries, we reach Trabzon.
  • In Trabzon, our first sightseeing stop will be the Trabzon Ayasofya, one of the most important faith centers in the Black Sea. Built as a church between 1250-1260 by Kral I. Manuel, who founded the Trabzon Empire in 1204, it was converted into a mosque in 1584 by Sultan 3. Murad. After the guide's explanations, we proceed to our Telkari and Kazaziye Workshop, where we will witness the art of filigree and kazaziye, which has persisted since the Ottoman period. We provide free time for shopping in the Local Products Store, where we can purchase local products like butter, cheese, honey, etc. After our shopping, we move to Atatürk Mansion.
  • Atatürk Mansion, which was visited twice by our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1924 and 1930, and where he wrote part of his will in 1937, will amaze you with its architecture and garden. We will tour Atatürk Mansion with information given by our guide. After visiting the mansion, we head to a restaurant where we can enjoy the famous Akçaabat meatballs.
  • After our lunch, we head to the knife workshop to learn about the handmade Sürmene knives that hold a significant place in the local culture and to shop. Here, we learn about the handcrafted knives that have been passed down through generations. We then move towards Uzungöl.
  • Along the route of Of-Çaykara-Taşkıran, we proceed through the Solaklı Stream and Valley to reach Uzungöl, a lake formed by a landslide that blocked the valley when the rocks slid. We conduct a brief tour with our guide upon our arrival and then have free time at Uzungöl. During the free time, those wishing to see Uzungöl from above can join the Lustra – Karester Plateau tour.

At Karester Plateau, where we will observe Uzungöl from a bird's eye view, we will have free time for fantastic photos, enjoying tea, ayran, and the famous rice pudding of Trabzon. After our free time, we return to Uzungöl.

We get off our bus at Ayder Plateau and photograph the Gelintülü Waterfall, which flows down hundreds of meters like a white veil. We then give free time in Ayder Plateau. During this free time, you can take unforgettable photos with the magnificent scenery or enjoy your morning coffee. After our free time, those who wish can join the Huser Plateau tour.

  • Huser Plateau Tour (Extra): In case the Huser Plateau Tour cannot be conducted due to the weather, an alternative extra tour to Kavron Plateau will be arranged. We start a fun-filled tour with our minibuses from Çamlıhemşin. If the weather is cloudy, you'll be mesmerized by the magnificent sea of fog. If the weather is clear, you will have the opportunity to see the Avusor, Kavron, Verçenik, and Samistal Plateaus, the peak of Kaçkar, and the Black Sea and Kaçkar Mountains. The Huser Plateau Tour lasts for 2.5 to 3.5 hours.

Then we move toward Zilkale, which rises in the wild nature of Çat Valley, among the historic Fırtına Mansions. The castle, which resembles an eagle's nest, will impress you with its depiction. At an elevation of 750 meters from sea level and 100 meters from Çat Stream, we arrive at the castle, where our guide will provide information, followed by free time. During this free time, you can stroll around the castle and take stunning photos with the enchanting green scenery. After our free time at Zilkale, we return to Çamlıhemşin with our minibuses.

  • Batum Tour (Extra): After completing our entry procedures at Sarp Border Gate, we cross into Georgia and start our tour. Our first stop will be the Gonio (Apsaros) Castle, where the tomb of St. Mathias, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ, is located, panoramically viewed. As we head to Batum city center, we will see the Çoruh River flowing from Erzurum to the Batum borders, along with the old Çoruh Bridge built on it. As we journey along Batum Boulevard, we will see the Soviet architectural buildings and new constructions in Batum panoramically before reaching the city center. We get off our bus in the city center and start our walk. First, we will see the Orta Mosque, built in 1886, which is the only remaining piece from the Ottoman period, along with its magnificent gate decorations made by Laz craftsmen. We will then see the attention-grabbing St. Nicholas Church and reach Piazza Square, reminiscent of European urban squares with its interesting architectural structures. After a photo break here, we will walk towards the European Square and see the Astronomical Clock Tower and the Armenian Apostolic Church. We will enter the European Square, where we will see the Medea Statue, reflecting Kafkas's mythical face, and the Theater Building. We will also see the Poseidon Statue, one of the Greek gods, and the clock tower, a copy of the İzmir Clock Tower known as the Çaca Tower. Next, we arrive at Batum Port, where we will see the statue of Ali and Nino, whose love stories have been adapted into films, and listen to its tale. Afterward, we will enjoy a free time at Batum Boulevard after viewing the Alphabet Tower, standing at 130 meters tall and symbolizing the freedom of Georgian alphabets and people. Later, we bid farewell to Batum and head back to the Sarp Border Gate. Before entering Turkey, you will have the opportunity to shop at Duty-Free during the time allotted by our guide. After completing our exit procedures, we board our bus and head towards our hotel.

  • On the fifth day of the Black Sea Tour with DGN Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Borçka for the Karagöl Tour. Guests who wish can join the optional Karagöl Tour.

  • Borçka Karagöl Tour (Extra): After boarding our minibuses in Borçka, we travel approximately 1 hour through a tunnel-like path of trees to reach Karagöl, which was formed due to a landslide in the 1800s at a hill close to today's Klaskur Plateau, which blocked the Klaskur Stream. You will be amazed by the magnificent nature and plenty of oxygen in Karagöl. After roughly 1 hour of free time, we return to Borçka.
  • After our Karagöl tour, we get on our bus and arrive in Çayeli. We visit the Rize Fabric Workshop, famous for its unique fabrics, to learn about yarn and weaving. After a shopping break and learning about the Rize Fabric's properties, which draws sweat and keeps the body cool, we set off to Haremtepe Çeçeva Tea Gardens.
  • Haremtepe Çeçeva Tea Gardens Tour (Extra): In Çeçeva Village, you can wear local clothing and take beautiful photos while picking tea with tea shears and baskets.
  • After the Çeçeva Tour, we visit the Tea Factory, where we can taste Karadeniz's most delicious teas. Here we learn about the tea production process and take a tour of the factory, followed by free time for tea tasting and shopping. After tasting the famous Hamsiköy pudding, we head to Sümela Monastery. We pass through Maçka, meaning a place of abundant rain in the ancient Greek, and reach Sümela Monastery, located in the Altındere Valley created by the Coşan Stream. (Additional shuttle vehicles will be used to access the Monastery within the national park.) The monastery, situated about 300 meters above the valley, is one of the oldest churches in Christian history. Known as the Virgin Mary, Sümela Monastery is believed to have taken its name from the word "melas," meaning black. A place with profound historical significance for Christianity, we will tour Sümela Monastery under the guidance of our tour guide. After our visit, we gather in our bus and head back to our hotel. Upon arrival, our guide will provide information, and we will start our tour of the cave, which resembles an underground palace and is a natural remedy for asthma. After exploring Karaca Cave, we travel to Kümbet Plateau.
  • We arrive at Kümbet Plateau, known as the capital of plateaus. First, we have our lunch. At an elevation of 1640 meters, Kümbet Plateau is one of the most popular plateaus in the Black Sea region. When we arrive, you will feel like you’re in the Alps. After free time in Kümbet Plateau, we travel to Mavi Göl, which changes color according to the sun's angle, surrounded by vibrant greenery. Mavi Göl, made up of three merged lakes, takes on a turquoise color particularly in the summer months due to its limescale and Göksu River, the only soda river in the Black Sea region. After taking photos at Mavi Göl, we panoramically view Kuzalan Waterfall before heading towards our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

  • On the last day of the Black Sea Tour with DGN Travel, after having breakfast at the hotel, we give free time along Ordu's coast. Meanwhile, guests who wish can use the cable car to ascend to Boztepe, enjoying the view of Ordu and the Black Sea within 7 minutes. Upon arrival, you will encounter the wonderful view of both the Black Sea and Ordu. After spending time at Boztepe, we return by cable car and regroup with our bus before heading to Amasya via the Samsun - Havza route.
  • In Amasya, we first see the water channels, believed to have been carved by Ferhat from the legend of Ferhat with Şirin, learning the story from our guide and taking photos. Next, we head to the Amasya Archaeology Museum, also known as the mummy museum, where artifacts from 13 different civilizations, including the Ottoman period, are exhibited. After exploring the museum with our guide, we visit the Bayezid Complex, commissioned by Sultan Bayezid II, who hailed from Amasya and became a sultan in the Ottoman Empire. In the complex, we will see the lightning rod trees and the historical fountain depicting the skyline of Istanbul, which the people of Amasya longed to see. We then descend to the banks of the Yeşilırmak River and hear the stories of the King Rock Tombs. Next, we take panoramic photos of the rock-cut tombs as we explore the surrounding area filled with the most beautiful examples of Ottoman civil architecture along the riverside with the yalı boyu houses and clock tower adding to the visual richness. After a stroll in the Princes Park, we bid farewell to Amasya and conclude our Black Sea Tour with DGN Travel, starting our return journey. We will drop you off at the designated points later that night, and we hope to see you in another DGN Travel organization.
