  • After picking up our valued guests from the designated points, we begin our night journey with DGN Travel for the Cappadocia Ihlara Hacıbektaş Tour.
  • Day
  • Tuz Gölü – Aksaray – Ihlara Valley – Narlıgöl Crater Lake – Underground City – Pigeon Valley - Paşabağ – Dervent Valley – Pottery Workshop - Avanos
  • After our night journey, we arrive at Tuz Gölü in the early hours of the morning for the Cappadocia Ihlara Hacıbektaş Tour. (It cannot be seen during periods when sunrise is late.) After free time at Tuz Gölü, we take a breakfast break before starting our tour. Then, with the view of Hasan Mountain, one of the most important components of Cappadocia’s formation, we arrive at our first stop in the region, Ihlara Valley. We visit the valley, a natural formation 14 km long and one of the important retreat places of Christianity, and view it from the Glass Terrace, from where we can see the Ihlara Valley, formed by the Melendiz Stream and in some places over 120 meters deep, from a bird’s-eye view while receiving information about the valley. After viewing and taking photos of the valley, we head to our next stop, Narlıgöl Crater Lake. We take a short photo break at Narlıgöl, which is beautiful in every season and resembles a heart when seen from above. After our photo break, we move on to Kaymaklı Underground City. (Depending on crowd levels, Derinkuyu or Özkonak Underground City will be visited.) With its usage history of approximately 4,500 years, the underground city amazes visitors with both its architectural features and its purpose of use; we tour it with our guide. You will be amazed at every step in this underground city where thousands of people once lived. Built during the Hittite Period and later expanded by carving other sections in the Roman and Byzantine Periods, our visit to the Kaymaklı Underground City, made of tuff rocks, ends and we board our bus and head to Pigeon Valley. We take a photo break at Pigeon Valley, where you can capture magnificent shots with its evil eye and pottery trees. After our break, we go to the restaurant where we will have lunch. After lunch, we are given 1 hour of free time to participate in any of the activities. During the 1-hour free time, guests who do not participate in activities may drink tea or coffee and take a walk.
  • ATV Tour (Extra): For the ATV tour, one of Cappadocia’s fun activities, we take the guests who wish to participate to the area where the ATV tour will take place. On this adrenaline-filled journey through the fairy chimneys accompanied by instructors, Çavuşin Panorama, Kılıçlar Valley, and Kızılçukur Valley are among the places to be seen. After completing the enjoyable tour with photo breaks, we return to the starting point.
  • Horse Safari Tour (Extra): After getting to know the horses and receiving information from the instructors, we carry out an unforgettable safari of approximately 1 hour among the fairy chimneys with the help of assistants. During the photo breaks, the staff will take your photos to immortalize the moment.

  • We pick up our guests returning from the activities and head to Paşabağ, where we will see the large and hat-shaped fairy chimneys up close. After receiving information from our guide about the fairy chimneys at Paşabağ, you can walk among them and take wonderful photos. When our time at Paşabağ ends, we meet at the bus and move on to Dervent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley. It is called Imagination Valley because you can shape the fairy chimneys in your imagination and compare them to various figures. After our guide shows us the fairy chimneys resembling a dancing bride and groom and a sitting camel, we take a short photo break. At the end of the photo break, we go to the Pottery Workshop, the last stop of the day. There, our master explains and demonstrates how pottery was made in earlier periods, then chooses one of our guests and tries to have them make pottery with his entertaining narration. After receiving information about the products from our master, we are given time for shopping. Here you can shop for pottery products and souvenirs. After our shopping, we board the bus and head to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
  • Guests who wish may join the extra local Turkish Night event after dinner.
  • Turkish Night (Extra): For the Turkish Night event, at the time determined by our guide, we board the bus in front of our hotel and head to our cave- carved restaurant where the event will be held. At the night, which includes unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers, we will watch shows such as Turkish customs, henna night, wedding, and folk dances that introduce Turkish culture. At the end of the night, we board the bus again and return to our hotel.

  • Balloon Tour – Ürgüp – Asmalı Konak – Göreme Open-Air Museum – Onyx Stone Workshop – Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Tomb - Istanbul
  • In the early morning, guests who wish may join the Balloon Tour or Balloon Watching Tour. After the extra tours end, we return to the hotel.
  • *Balloon Tour (Extra) At the prearranged early morning hour, we meet in the lobby with the guests who wish to join and transfer to the balloon launch area. We watch the balloons being prepared while enjoying refreshments. After the preparations are completed, we take off. During our approximately one-hour balloon ride, we will watch the fairy chimneys and the entire region, showcasing the unique artistry of nature, accompanied by the sunrise. After our balloon tour ends, we land at the designated points, enjoy champagne, and receive certificates. This activity, considered a must-do in Cappadocia, will make the Balloon Tour unforgettable. After receiving our certificates, we head back to the hotel. After the balloon tour, there will be enough time to get ready for today’s program.
  • *Balloon Watching Tour (Extra): Guests who wish may join our extra balloon watching tour. In this tour, we go to Love Valley, where the balloons take off and their preparations can be observed. We watch the magnificent sight created by the balloons in the sky at sunrise. In this unforgettable atmosphere, you can capture memorable photos. After the Balloon Watching Tour, we return to the hotel, leaving you enough time to prepare for the day’s program. (If the balloon launch is canceled on-site after going to the launch area, no refund will be made. If the balloon launch is canceled before departing from the hotel, the Balloon Watching Tour fee will be refunded. DGN Travel provides guiding and transportation services for this extra service. DGN Travel is not responsible if the balloon launch is canceled at the launch area.)

  • On the last day of our Cappadocia Ihlara Hacıbektaş Tour with DGN Travel, after breakfast at our hotel, we go to a leather workshop where we will learn about the Turkish leather art, which has held an important place in world history since early times, and watch a fashion show. After the enjoyable show and shopping, we head to Ürgüp. In Ürgüp, we first photograph Asmalı Konak, the location where the Asmalı Konak TV series, which aired in the early 2000s, was filmed, from the outside. Then we give a short shopping break for our guests who want to buy the world-famous wines associated with Cappadocia. Our next stop is a shop where you can find Cappadocia’s special oven-roasted pumpkin seeds and many local products. After a short shopping break there as well, we board the bus and head to Göreme Open-Air Museum, one of the most important places in the historical development of Christianity. At Göreme Open-Air Museum, we visit the Nuns’ and Monks’ Monastery, St. Basil’s Church, Apple Church, St. Barbara Church, Snake Church, Dark Church, Buckle Church, and Tokalı Church with our guide and receive information. After completing our tour there and meeting back at the bus, we head to the Onyx Stone Workshop. After our visit to the workshop, where we can see the processing of onyx stone extracted from Cappadocia’s volcanic region and semi-precious and precious stones extracted from various depths and how they are brought onto the workbenches, we give a shopping break for those who wish. After shopping, we go to the restaurant where we will have lunch. After lunch, we bid farewell to Cappadocia and set off for Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Tomb. Upon arriving at Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Tomb, we begin our tomb visit with our guide’s narration. We visit the Üçler Fountain in the outer courtyard, the Main Courtyard (Kitchen, Meydan House), and the Last Courtyard (Pir House, Hacı Bektaş Veli Tomb). After our visit to Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Tomb, our DGN Travel Cappadocia Ihlara Hacıbektaş Tour comes to an end and we begin our return journey. We say goodbye after dropping you off at the points where we picked you up, hoping to meet again on another DGN Travel event.
