1st Day Ankara- Baku

At 12:20, we depart for the city of fire, Baku, on the scheduled flight VF 577 of AJET Airlines.
Arrive in Baku at 15:35 and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the rooms.
2nd Day Baku- Ateshgah- Absheron- Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center
After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to Ateshgah (Fire Temple), which is one of three Zoroastrian temples that have survived to this day and the most important one, constructed in the 3rd century AD. This religious site, known for its ancient fire that has burned since antiquity, gained worldwide fame especially during the era when the Silk Road was active, and it was reconstructed by Zoroastrian pilgrims who arrived in the region in the 17th century. After our visit here, we go to Abşeron Yanar Dağı to watch the dancing flames. Next, we continue our tour with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by the Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid, which has a huge area of 101,000 square meters and has made headlines worldwide. The complex, representing the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology, consists of theaters and conference halls, a museum, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: On some days, the cultural center does not accept visitors. Since today and the hours are not previously announced, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation. If it is open, entry will be allowed.) After free time, transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
3rd Day Baku (Dinner with Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for a Full Day Baku City Tour. With numerous investments made recently, the historic and traditional aspects of Baku have been complemented with a very modern appearance. In this extensive tour, we first go from Martyrs' Lane to Yayla Park. Here, you can take panoramic photographs of the city of Baku and Baku Bay. Then, we head to the Old City or as it is known, Inner City, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this part of the tour, you will see and learn about the historical and traditional characteristics of Baku. Among the places we will see in and around here are the 12th-century Maiden Tower, the 15th-century Friday Mosque, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret and Mohammed Mosque, the world's only Miniature Books Museum, the Shirvan Shah Palace, which is considered one of the pearls of Azerbaijani historical architecture, the Ismail Palace, which currently serves as the Academy of Sciences, the city's heart Independence Avenue, the Fountain Square that takes its name from the historical fountain nearby, the Municipality Park famous for the Philharmonic Fountain, and the National Carpet and Kilim Museum. After, we visit the modern part of the city with numerous futurist architectural works, including the world-famous Flame Towers, and head to Baku Boulevard. This area, also known as 'Little Venice', is a pedestrian zone parallel to the coastal area where oil barons built their mansions a century ago. After the tour, we go to a local venue for a Dinner with Folkloric Azerbaijani Night featuring traditional Mugham music and local delicacies. After our beautiful evening, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
4th Day Baku- Shamakhi- Gabala- Sheki
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards Shamakhi. (approximately 125 km) Known historically as a significant phase in the Ottoman-Safavid War, Shamakhi is also renowned as one of the most important wine and carpet weaving regions in the Caucasus. Here, we visit the old town center, the Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum, which houses the Shirvan Khan's Tombs, and the Friday Mosque. Then we head towards the naturally beautiful Gabala. (approximately 95 km) Surrounded by the unique scenery of the Nature National Park, we will have free time at the shores of Nohur Lake, rejuvenating your energy in Gabala, known for its mountains, forests, and waterfalls, which resembles paradise. After our pleasant break, we continue our journey to Sheki. (approximately 90 km) Upon arrival, we explore Sheki, which is one of the oldest, most authentic, and most beautiful cities in Azerbaijan. A classic mountain city, Sheki is known for its gentle-hearted people, unique culture, and cuisine. We will visit the historic stone and wooden buildings spread throughout the narrow, cobbled streets, the stunning Han Palace, which is a significant member of the UNESCO World Heritage List and a magnificent Persian period artifact, the Sheki Fortress consisting of the Sheki Handicrafts Workshop, Etnographic Museum, Art Gallery, and Art House, the Han's Palace specially built for the Khan's relatives, and important religious sites such as the Han and Friday Mosques. In the bazaar, we will have free time to taste the famous Azeri Tea accompanied by Sheki Halva and shop for various handmade art pieces, including the world's most beautiful silk products. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and check in. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
5th Day Sheki- Bodbe Monastery- Signaghi- Tbilisi
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we head towards the Azerbaijan/Georgia Border. (approximately 90 km) As per regulations, there will be a vehicle change at the border. After necessary procedures, we continue to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia, known for its architecture and surrounding nature. (approximately 60 km) After our visit here, we proceed to the ‘Love City Sighnaghi’. (approximately 15 km) With its natural beauty, restored charming stone buildings, and tourist attractions, this lovely place features the Sighnaghi Fortress with walls over 4 km, known as the 'Georgian Wall', and the St. George Church with its beautiful architecture and nature. During our tour, we will take special electric vehicles to explore; providing photo opportunities at points like Kakheti viewpoint, Signagi viewpoint, St. George tower, etc. During our free time, guests may freely explore this charming town, shop, and enjoy lunch. Then we head towards Tbilisi. (approximately 10 km) Upon arrival, we check into our rooms. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
6th Day Tbilisi (Dinner with Caucasian Night)
After breakfast, we start our Full Day Tbilisi Tour. This beautiful city, which is always surprising visitors with what it offers, will first showcase the Narikala Fortress, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theater, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, Mother Georgia Monument, Liberty Square, Parliament Building, Archaeological Museum housing important historical artifacts, Art Museum with over 3500 pieces, Kashueti St George Church, National Museum of Georgia featuring significant exhibits, Opera and Ballet Theater hosting important performances, MoMa Museum known for its sculptures and temporary exhibitions, Historical Books Museum known for old books and manuscripts, Academy of Fine Arts famous for its Mirror Hall, and Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, which is the largest religious structure in Georgia visible from almost anywhere in Tbilisi. We also see the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali known as “Rider King” on Metekhi Hill and the ancient Metekhi Church dating back to the 4th century. After our walking tour, we will visit Orbeliani Park famous for the Flower and Covered Market, Atoneli Street, which has become an attraction center through the restoration of 13 significant buildings, and Gabriadze Neighborhood. We see Europe Square, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari Region, Georgian Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral. We visit Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater, Angels Clock Tower, Anchiskati Basilica, and Jan Shardeni Street. During the free time in this beautiful square, you can taste local delicacies in authentic cafes. We visit Bethlehem Street, the center of the Jewish Community in Georgia, which holds many significant artifacts. After, we head to the Kale Area where the symbol of the city, Narikala, is located. We ride the cable car to the top and see the Mother Georgia Monument, built in 1958 to celebrate the 1500th anniversary of Georgia. Here you can also take panoramic photos of the city. Returning down by cable car, we visit the historic Abanotubani area known for its sulfur baths that give the city its name since the 4th century BC. We see the historical Friday Mosque also known as ‘Double Mihrab’ built by the Ottomans in 1724, and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We will descend by the famous Turning Staircase and cross the Love Wooden Bridge to give free time in the Underground Bazaar. After, we transfer to a venue where you can enjoy breathtaking Caucasian Folk performances and have dinner consisting of various Georgian dishes. Transfer back to our hotel at the end of this wonderful day. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
7th Day Tbilisi- Chronicle Monument- Gori- Uplistsikhe- Jvari- Mtskheta- Tbilisi
After breakfast, we make a short journey to Giorgi’s Chronicle Monument. (Approximately 15 km) Located on the Keeni Hill, this monument, initiated in 1985 but never completed due to constant updates with significant current events, is a unique artifact rare in the world.
Afterwards, we continue to Gori where we will visit the Stalin Museum, showcasing numerous items and photographs from the time of Stalin, who successfully transformed the Soviet Union into an industrial and military giant. After, we will have free time in the charming town of Gori to explore as you wish. Then, we will visit Uplistsikhe, known for its cave-cut houses resembling Cappadocia. (approximately 15 km) Our next destination is Jvari (approximately 65 km) which was built on a high hill overlooking the meeting point of the Aragvi and Kura rivers in Mtskheta city and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery, celebrated for its architectural beauty and breathtaking views, has been the center of many significant historical events. After our visit, we proceed to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia, also known as ‘UNESCO City’. (approximately 20 km) During our tour of this historical city, we will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, considered one of the holiest religious sites in Georgia. In our free time, complete your shopping for world-famous Georgian wines and other souvenirs and explore the fairy-tale-like town freely. After the tour, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
8th Day Tbilisi- Ankara
At the time determined by our guide, transfer to the airport.
At 05:05, we depart on the scheduled flight VF 616 of AJET Airlines to Istanbul.
