Day 1 ISTANBUL – BASEL – STRASBOURG
Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures terminal in front of Pegasus Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Basel at 10:20 by Pegasus Airlines flight PC939. After arriving in Basel at local time 12:25, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Significant sites include Basel Munster, where the tomb of the renowned Renaissance writer Erasmus is located, Münster Square, the former Venice Consulate, Marktplatz (the main square and market place), and Basel Town Hall.
After the tour, we head towards Strasbourg. During our tour, we will explore the Grande Île region, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here, you'll see the masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the fairytale neighborhood of Petite France surrounded by canals, and Place Kleber. The Petite France area is famous for its colorful half-timbered houses. These buildings represent the finest examples of Alsace's traditional architecture, called "colombage," with wooden frameworks, red-tiled roofs, and intricately detailed designs that create a medieval atmosphere.
For many years, a Germanic dialect known as Alsatian was spoken in the Alsace region, but today the majority of the population speaks French. Nevertheless, you can see the German influence in the signs and village names. After the visit, there will be free time to explore the lively streets of the city on your own, where guests can taste the delicious Alsace cuisine or purchase souvenirs from traditional shops. At the end of the day, we transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg.
Day 2 ALSACE WINE ROAD AND FAIRYTALE VILLAGES (RIQUEWİHR – KAYSERSBERG – EGUİSHEİM – COLMAR)
After breakfast, guests who wish can join an extra tour to explore the fairytale villages along the Alsace Wine Road. Our route will take us by the impressive Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, which rises majestically on the slopes of the Vosges Mountains, and we will hear the history of the castle and stories of its sieges from our guide.
Our next stop is Riquewihr. Here, we have the opportunity to explore the 13th-century walls, stone streets, and wine cellars. We will gain insight into Alsace viticulture and the famous Alsace wines in the village square.
We continue our tour to Kaysersberg. We will listen to the story of the Nobel Peace Prize winner Albert Schweitzer's birthplace and take a photo break at the village's historic stone bridge.
After Kaysersberg, we will proceed to Eguisheim, one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace. Here, we take a short walk among the charming narrow streets with colorful half-timbered houses adorned with flowers and see the historic fountain and castle ruins in the square. Our guide will narrate the history of Eguisheim from the Middle Ages to the present.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Colmar. We walk along the canals of the postcard-like Petite Venise area and get the chance to see the impressive Gothic architecture of St. Martin's Church. Our guide shares the life story of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor of the Liberty Statue, while we examine the Renaissance facade decorations of the Pfister House. The Old Customs House, Marché Couvert Indoor Market, and the Unterlinden Museum with its rich collections will be among the places we explore with the guide’s external narration.
After the tour, we give free time for shopping and dinner in Colmar city center.
In the evening, we return to Strasbourg and transfer to our hotel.

Day 3 FROM SHOPPING TO THE ROMANTICISM OF HEIDELBERG (OUTLET-HEIDELBERG)
After breakfast at our hotel in Strasbourg, guests who wish can leave at the appointed time for the Outlet and Heidelberg tour. Our first stop will be the outlet between Baden-Baden in Germany and Strasbourg in France, where about a hundred world-famous brands are located. After enjoying shopping at the outlet with tax-free opportunities, we head towards the romantic Heidelberg by the Neckar River. During the guided tour, we will see Heidelberg Castle from the outside, enjoy the river view from the historic stone bridge, and witness the city's rich past while walking through Marktplatz Square and Hauptstrasse. As we walk through the streets of Heidelberg, known by Goethe as the “ideal city,” we pass by University Square and hear the story of Germany's oldest university. After learning about the defense history behind the stone towers of the Old Bridge, we give free time for you to spend as you wish in the enchanting atmosphere of Heidelberg. Afterwards, we return to our hotel in Strasbourg.

Day 4 STRASBOURG – SCHAFFHAUSEN RHINE FALLS – ZURICH – LUCERNE – STRASBOURG
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for the Schaffhausen Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne tour for guests who wish to join. Our first visit will be the Schaffhausen Rhine Falls, where the Rhine River originates. After a walk around the largest waterfall in Europe, which has a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters, we proceed to Zurich, Switzerland’s financial capital and largest city. As we walk along Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s most famous shopping streets, we glance at the windows of renowned boutiques and identify the historic buildings on both banks of the Limmat River with our guide's narration. We will see the Chagall stained glass windows of Fraumünster Church, the impressive towers of Grossmünster, and walk through the ancient streets of the Old Town, witnessing Zurich's history extending from the Middle Ages to the present. This trip, blending modern culture with historical heritage, invites you to an unforgettable experience that touches the heart of Switzerland.
After our tour, we move on to Lucerne. It’s enough to visit Lucerne to confirm Alexandre Dumas's saying, “If Switzerland is an oyster, Lucerne is the pearl inside of it.” Our first stop in Lucerne will be the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), the oldest wooden bridge in Europe built in 1333. This bridge spans the Reuss River and reveals much more than just Lucerne’s history. One of its main features that sets it apart is the paintings hanging from the ceiling, depicting Lucerne’s history throughout the bridge. Our second stop is the Lion Monument, one of the city’s most striking points. Created in the 18th century to commemorate 800 Swiss soldiers who lost their lives defending King Louis, this sculpture illustrates a sorrowful lion carved into a giant rock. After photographing this, known as Mark Twain's "most affecting and mournful piece of stone,” we give free time in the area to shop for Swiss watches, knives, and etc. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel in Strasbourg.
Schaffhausen Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne tour (120 Euro)
Day 5 STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – BASEL – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out from our rooms and set off for Freiburg, bidding farewell to Alsace’s elegant architecture. This city, often referred to as the pearl of the Black Forest, is known for its vibrant streets, green environment, and historical structures. During our city tour, we briefly present the impressive Freiburg Minster (Cathedral), visit Markthalle to smell local delicacies, and explore the lively Münsterplatz square and historic Rathausplatz buildings. While walking along Kaiser Joseph Street, we see how the city’s modern and historical textures interweave, and enjoy a pleasant stroll through the colorful houses of Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau.
After the tour, we head to Basel airport. After luggage and ticket procedures, we take off to Istanbul at 18:05 by Pegasus Airlines flight PC942. We arrive at local time 22:00, and the tour concludes. We hope to see you on our next trip.
