Founded by Jews in 590 B.C., Toledo is one of Spain’s most important historical and touristic cities, where people belonging to three major religions live together peacefully today; it is also known as the “city of knights.” The Tagus, the largest river in the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. As one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and protected. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. Toledo Cathedral, whose construction took approximately 270 years, once a mosque and today the 3rd most important cathedral in the world and Spain’s main cathedral, housing the world’s most valuable works, along with San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), and workshops and shops where gold handicrafts are made, are among the places to be seen panoramically on our tour. After the Toledo Tour, we continue our journey toward Madrid city center and then carry out our city tour. Madrid, the capital of the Kingdom of Spain and also the third largest city in the European Union, is considered the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. During our city tour in Madrid, where monuments, statues, and natural beauty are blended with modern architecture, Plaza Mayor, Paseo de la Castellana, the bullring, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcala will be seen panoramically. After the city tour, we will have a short free time and then return to our hotel in the Madrid region for rest.

From here, we reach Clérigos Tower and the Livraria Lello area; the tower will be seen from the outside panoramically and the exterior of Lello can be photographed. We complete the tour by seeing Bolhão Market and the surrounding commercial area. This area, where local products are sold, is one of the places where we can observe Porto’s daily life. After the Obidos Tour, as we travel to Lisbon, we carry out our Atlantic Coast Tour consisting of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Estoril. Our first stop will be Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling castles, and cobblestone streets. However, its most important feature, which earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra walk through streets and avenues surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop is Cabo da Roca, known as the “End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European continent. After a short break to take photos of the ocean and the famous beaches frequented by surfers, we continue our tour with panoramic visits to Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of Lisbon’s most famous resort areas, known as Lisbon’s backyard, with SPA and thermal hotels, parks, and golf courses, and also famous for the Casino sections of the first Bond novel, Casino Royale. At the end of the tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Lisbon region. After room check-in and free time to rest, guests who wish may join the optional Lisbon Night Tour with Dinner (55 Euro).
