Day 1 ISTANBUL - MILAN

We meet at the international departure terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we move to our private buses waiting for us after our flight to Milan with Turkish Airlines. Milan is a dynamic city located in northern Italy, known as the center of fashion, design, and business. The Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is one of Milan's most iconic structures and a perfect example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth largest church in the world and one of Europe’s largest Gothic cathedrals. Its exterior is made of white marble and adorned with intricate carvings. Countless statues and sculptures can be found on the front facade, with the most notable being the golden Madonnina statue atop the cathedral, considered the city's patron saint. Right next to the Duomo is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This magnificent shopping gallery is famous for its glass roof and mosaic floors, where you can find luxury brand stores, chic cafes, and restaurants. The gallery has four main entrances, but the most famous one is from Piazza del Duomo. Once you step inside, the eye-catching architecture draws your attention, combining modern engineering with traditional art perfectly. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Milan and have free time to relax.

Day 2 MILAN – LAKE GARDA – VENICE

After breakfast, we head to Lake Garda. To relax and enjoy the breathtaking view at Lake Garda, which is the largest lake in Italy, we will visit. The waters of Lake Garda present the most beautiful tones of emerald green and blue. Walking around the lake or just watching the view can be very soothing. After our visit to Lake Garda, we depart for Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto square in Venice, we take a short vaporetto ride to St. Mark's Square and start the panoramic city tour. At the end of St. Mark's Square stands the magnificent St. Mark's Basilica, famous for its golden mosaics and Byzantine-style architecture. The famous Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) is also located here, where prisoners take a last glance at the city as they head to their cells. Among the sights we will see during our city tour are the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, the Doge's Palace, the Campanile, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. When you arrive in Venice, the first thing that catches your eye is, of course, the waterways. The Grand Canal (Canal Grande) is the main artery of the city, lined with magnificent palaces from the Renaissance period. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Venice and have free time to rest.

Day 3 VENICE – FLORENCE – (BOLOGNA)

After breakfast, we head to Venice. Guests who wish can join the optional Bologna Tour organized by our guide (30 Euros). Bologna, located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, is famous for its history, culture, and delicious cuisine. Bologna is known as "La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa" (The Learned, The Fat, The Red). These nicknames reflect the city’s intellectual heritage, gastronomic wealth, and its red brick buildings. The heart of Bologna is Piazza Maggiore, which is the social and cultural center of the city, surrounded by many important buildings. The San Petronio Basilica is one of Italy's largest churches and draws attention with its magnificent Gothic architecture. Right next to it is the town hall, Palazzo d’Accursio. Near Piazza Maggiore is the Neptune Fountain, a bronze statue made in the 16th century depicting the sea god Neptune and an ideal spot for photography. One of Bologna's most iconic buildings is the Asinelli and Garisenda towers. Once there were 72 towers, now only 14 remain. These towers were constructed to demonstrate the power and wealth of the ancient wealthy families. Other sights include Quadrilatero (the old market), the Old Stock Exchange, and the University of Bologna, Europe's first university building. After our Bologna tour, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, we start our Florence city tour. Florence has a unique significance in world cultural heritage as the birthplace and development place of the Renaissance. The city has witnessed significant advancements in art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and scientists like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. Florence is like an open-air art gallery, and on the Arno River, which divides the city, is the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, surrounded by jewelry shops. Other sights include Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria, home to masterpieces like the Hercules and David statues, and the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo), which boasts the third largest dome in Italy, and the famous Baptistery. In the evening, we return to our hotel in Montecatini and have free time to relax.

This square dazzles not only with the tower but also with the magnificent Duomo Cathedral and Baptistery made of white marble. Each of these showcases the artistic and architectural richness of medieval Italy. After visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the nearby Miracle Square, we head towards San Gimignano. As you step into the medieval town of San Gimignano, the first thing that catches your attention will be the towers. Once, there were 72 towers; now, only 14 remain. Inside, you can see magnificent frescoes reflecting the spirit of medieval Italy. Right next to the cathedral is the Town Hall (Palazzo del Popolo). Our next stop is Piazza della Cisterna. This charming square, named after an old water reservoir in its center, gives you the feeling of walking through a time tunnel with its stone buildings and historic structures. After our tour, we move on to Siena. Upon arriving in Siena, the first thing we will see is the heart of the city, Piazza del Campo. This wide and sloping square is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. In the center of the square is a marble fountain named Fonte Gaia. The square hosts the famous horse race Palio di Siena, held twice a year. This race is an exciting event where horses from 17 different contrade (neighborhoods) compete. Also, we will see the Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena). This magnificent Gothic structure is covered with white and green marble. As you walk through Siena's narrow and winding streets, history greets you at every corner. While wandering the city, you might spot a wall fresco or an old stone building. In the evening, we return to our hotel in Montecatini and have free time to relax.

Day 5 FLORENCE (ORVIETO) - ROME

Once shimmering with endless splendor and shaped by the winds of history, Rome is home to the grandeur of its emperors, the courage of gladiators, and the highest forms of art. During this tour, we will see the Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned. Castel Sant'Angelo was originally built as a mausoleum by Roman Emperor Hadrian and later transformed into a fortress. During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it was also used as a type of prison and papal fortress.
