DAY 1: ISTANBUL – BOGOTA (COLOMBIA)
With the first light of morning, we meet at Istanbul Airport in the privileged world of tourism. Under the comfort of Turkish Airlines’ wings, after an approximately 14-hour journey through the clouds, we arrive in Bogota, the energetic capital of Colombia. Immediately after our arrival, we head to Monserrate Hill, the city’s crown jewel. As we ascend this summit by funicular, Bogota spreads out beneath our feet, and we capture the first enchanting photos of the tour accompanied by panoramic views. At the end of the day, we settle into our hotel to rest in the cool breeze of the Andes.

DAY 2: ZIPAQUIRA SALT CATHEDRAL – BOGOTA – LIMA (PERU)
We begin the day with a mystical journey to Zipaquira, the “salt capital” north of Bogota. Deep underground, we explore the mesmerizing Salt Cathedral, considered one of the world’s architectural wonders, built entirely by carving out salt rock. After this subterranean masterpiece, we return to Bogota and visit the legendary Gold Museum, where thousands of years of golden artifacts gleam, as well as the historic Candelaria district, famous for its colorful streets. In the evening, we take off for Lima, the capital of Peru, to open the gates of Inca civilization.

DAY 3: LIMA – DISCOVERY OF THE “CITY OF KINGS”
Today, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, we step into the history-filled streets of Lima, which preserves the splendor of the colonial era. After photographing the Presidential Palace and the magnificent Lima Cathedral at Plaza de Armas, we immerse ourselves in the mystical atmosphere of the San Francisco Monastery, famous for its mysterious underground passageways. In Miraflores, the city’s modern and bohemian face, we pause at Lovers’ Park with its Pacific views and visit the world-renowned Larco Museum, which presents Peru’s 5,000-year history in a chronological feast.

DAY 4: LIMA – CUSCO (THE HEART OF THE INCAS)
Early in the morning, we fly to Cusco, the city of legends and the former capital of the Inca Empire, located in the heart of the Andes. Upon arrival, we visit the enchanting Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), where Inca stonework lies hidden beneath Spanish architecture, and the massive Cusco Cathedral. While wandering through the San Pedro market, where local people sell exotic products, we feel the authentic texture of Andean culture at every step.

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY – PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO
Deep in the Andes, we set out for the legendary Sacred Valley, stretching along the sacred Urubamba River. After free time in the colorful Pisac market and town, where locals still practice traditional barter methods, we explore the ancient town of Ollantaytambo, built like an eagle’s nest on the edge of a cliff. As we witness how the Incas joined massive stones without mortar, with mathematical precision, we surrender ourselves to the flow of history before tomorrow’s grand appointment with Machu Picchu.

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU (ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD)
Early in the morning, from Ollantaytambo station, we board our Vistadome panoramic train with a glass roof and arrive in Aguas Calientes while enjoying the unique views of the Urubamba River. From there, after a short bus ride, we reach the legendary lost city of Machu Picchu, hidden by the Incas for thousands of years. As we explore this stone architectural masterpiece above the clouds, with its terraces and sacred temples, guided by our guide’s explanations, we witness one of the most breathtaking atmospheres in human history. At the end of the day, we return by train and settle into our hotel in Cusco.

DAY 7: CUSCO – SANTIAGO (CHILE)
Today, we bid farewell to Inca lands and head toward Santiago, the modern and elegant capital of Chile, stretching under the shadow of the Andes. Upon arrival, we ascend San Cristobal Hill for panoramic views of the city, then visit the historic Plaza de Armas and its magnificent Cathedral. After a walk through the city’s European-influenced streets, we settle into our hotel.

DAY 8: VALPARAISO & VIÑA DEL MAR (PACIFIC COASTS)
We head to Valparaiso, the most colorful and bohemian city on Chile’s Pacific coast, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After our tour of this port city, famous for its steep hills, colorful houses, historic elevators, and street art, we continue to Viña del Mar, the “Garden City,” known for its modern beaches and gardens. After a day filled with ocean breezes, we return to Santiago in the evening.
Experience: Valparaiso’s historic funiculars and the traces of Pablo Neruda.

DAY 9: SANTIAGO – BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)
On a magnificent scenic flight over the Andes, we arrive in Buenos Aires, known as the “Paris of the South.” As soon as we step into the city, we begin discovering the spirit of this metropolis, famous for its broad boulevards and historic buildings. In the evening, we prepare for an unforgettable dinner and a world-famous Tango Show in the homeland of Argentina’s passionate dance, Tango.

After a morning flight, we arrive in Iguazu, home to one of the world’s largest waterfall systems. At this natural wonder, visible from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides, we walk to the most magnificent point known as the “Devil’s Throat” and witness the immense power of the water. After this visual feast in the tropical forest, we settle into our hotel on the Brazilian side.

DAY 13: IGUAZU – RIO DE JANEIRO

After admiring the city’s magnificent 360-degree view, we ride the cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain, where the unique views of the Atlantic Ocean and Guanabara Bay leave us spellbound.

DAY 15: RIO DE JANEIRO – SAO PAULO - ISTANBUL RETURN
During the first half of the day, after completing our last shopping and sightseeing in Rio’s colorful streets, we transfer to the airport. We then begin our return journey for this epic 16-day trip with Turkish Airlines’ comfortable flight.
RIO - SAO PAULO flight
After the tour, we will transfer to the airport and at 21:40 take our Gol Airlines flight to São Paulo. After an approximately 1 hour and 15 minute flight, we will arrive at São Paulo Guarulhos Airport at 22:55. After completing baggage and ticket procedures there, we will pass through passport control and depart from São Paulo to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight at 04:05.
DAY 16: ISTANBUL – ARRIVAL 17:05
With our arrival at Istanbul Airport in the afternoon, our unforgettable “Grande South America” adventure spanning 6 countries from Colombia to Brazil, experienced with Turizm, comes to an end with lasting memories.
