Day 1 Istanbul – Stuttgart – Strasbourg Istanbul Airport, international departures terminal, meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Stuttgart at 08:55 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1701. Upon arrival in Stuttgart at 10:00 local time, transfer to Strasbourg by our waiting vehicle. While touring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval quarter. With its fairy-tale-like nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly a place worth seeing. Strasbourg also holds historical significance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written. The city presents itself as a blend of Alsatian culture and French architecture. During our city tour, the Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kléber Square, and the Petit France district decorated with traditional Alsatian houses will be among the places to be seen. Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Fairytale Villages of Magnificent Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) (110 Euro). On this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity from start to finish, our first stop will be Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses, reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region, create Eguisheim’s postcard-perfect appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historic buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. As we walk through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone, Little Venice with its canals reminiscent of Venice in Italy, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval French town. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historic atmosphere. In particular, the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg is one of the town’s most distinctive landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of the town, also stands out with its Gothic architecture. Our final stop, after this, is Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting towns, with numerous half-timbered houses that add to its charm. This historic village captivates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval walled atmosphere. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old city walls to feel the medieval ambiance. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or nearby. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city take you on a journey through time, making you feel the Middle Ages in every corner. On our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a city immersed in nature, a center of culture and art, with thermal springs and even one of Europe’s most famous casinos. After exploring Baden Baden, which has been an inspiration for many famous writers and composers, we enjoy free time at the outlet center where many famous brands are gathered. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of the largest waterfall in Europe with a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. Embraced by the powerful branches of the Rhine River, this is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the azure waters. After a mesmerizing walk accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, striking Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping center. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or nearby. Day 5 Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel – Istanbul After breakfast, check-out from the rooms and depart for Freiburg. Freiburg, Germany’s fourth largest city, located near the Black Forest and captivating visitors with its natural beauty, is a medieval city steeped in history. On our city tour here, the city’s symbol and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, Münster Cathedral, Markthalle (Indoor Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, head to Basel Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1926 at 18:05. Arrival at 23:15 local time and the end of our tour.
